Mr Lamba joined HKEx in February 2010 as EVP and Head of Market Development. He is also a member of the HKEx Senior Management Committee. Mr Lamba’s role is to spearhead HKEx’s strategy and development initiatives under the Market Development Division. The Market Development Division focuses on capturing future China opportunities in both primary and secondary markets, broadening HKEx’s international issuer base, assessing new product and Information Technology development concepts and enhancing the competitiveness of HKEx’s market structure and market systems. Mr. Lamba has also been representing HKEx in regular discussions with the company’s institutional shareholders and the investor community.

Mr Lamba has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He worked in the US for nine years before moving to Hong Kong in 1994. Since November 2008, Mr Lamba was a Senior Advisor to JP Morgan’s Asia ex-Japan Investment Banking and Capital Markets business, with strategic and operating responsibilities. He has also worked at Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific for eight years as a Managing Director, where he led the firm’s regional Energy and Power investment banking group and served as the Chief Operating Officer of the firm’s China Origination business. At Merrill Lynch, Mr Lamba was involved in several landmark listings of Mainland enterprises in Hong Kong. Mr Lamba holds Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Economics degrees from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the US.

David Anderson is a well know market data consultant on both sides of the Atlantic. Since 2002 David has been operating Atradia (www.atradia.com), a management consultancy practice focused on the market data industry. In December 2008, David Berry joined UBS in the Market Data Global Sourcing department He was Head of Procurement and Cost Control Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets Europe from May to Nov 2008. From 2006 to 2008 he was Global Head of Market Data at Barclays Capital, the Investment Banking arm of Barclays Bank PLC. From 2001 to 2006 he worked for SGCIB, the Corporate & Investment Banking arm of Société Générale Group. He first worked as Head of Supplier Management for Market Data Services and held a number of managerial positions within SGCIB’s Information Technology department. He was appointed Global Head of Market Data Commercial in 2004. From 1993 to 2001, David worked for Morgan Stanley, first in the Fixed Income, Commodities and Foreign Exchange department, where he held Sales and Trading posts in Frankfurt and Paris. Later, he worked in their Market Data and Technology department in London. He is Vice-President of COSSIOM in charge of relations with IPUG, Member of the Executive Committee at IPUG and Co-Chair of the Consumer Constituent Group at FISD. A French national, David was educated in Germany where he holds a “Diplomkaufman.” He also earned a “Diplome des Grandes Ecoles” degree in Paris. Married with three children, David is a keen rugby and ice-hockey player.

Previously, Ben was Sales and Marketing Director of Tenfore Systems Limited, before its acquisition by Morningstar in December 2008. Managing specialist sales teams located in London, Frankfurt, New York and Chicago, Ben acts as a real-time data specialist for all other global Morningstar offices.

Before joining Morningstar, Ben worked in various sales management roles at Thomson Financial, Bloomberg and Informa Global Markets. Prior to these roles Ben spent 10 years as an officer in the British Army.

Freda Doyle is a Vice President and Northern Trust’s Head of IOO Service & Delivery – Hong Kong, since relocating from India in September 2011. Freda was previously Northern Trust’s Head of Data Management in Northern Operating Services Private Limited India. She relocated to Bangalore in 2009 in order to manage and oversee the growing practice in India and further define the local operating model along with responsibility for supporting the growth and implementation of Pricing and Asset Reference Data services across Asia. Upon leaving the team had grown to in excess of 100 partners in Bangalore Data Management. Darren Measures is an Executive Director, Head of Risk for Asia Pacific region of JPMorgan Worldwide Security Services, based out of Hong Kong, a position he recently transitioned into. Prior to that he was Head of Clearance & Collateral Management Client Sales & Management in New York, a position he held since November 2007. From 2004 through 2007, Darren was the global product manager responsible for the launch of the Derivatives Collateral Management product and US Equity TriParty Repo. He had moved to the US from London in 2000 in order to run the Western Hemisphere operation after working on the Investment Bank’s OTC derivatives collateral management program.
Darren joined JPMorgan in 1999 with significant experience in sales, credit and market risk management garnered during tenures at Citibank, SBC and UBS. These experiences developed his knowledge of OTC libor, government, equity and credit derivative products.
He is a working member of the International Swaps and Dealers Association’s Collateral Committee.

Since May 2009, Daniel has been appointed the Head of Sales and Marketing Team of the Market Data Department to lead the promotion of HKEx's information services.

Before joining HKEx, Daniel was the Deputy Managing Director of TD Waterhouse, Hong Kong and Deputy Branch Manager of the Toronto Dominion Bank, Hong Kong.

Tim received a B.S. in Marketing Management from Cornell University.

Alan is Head of Market Data for Asia/Pacific for UBS based in Hong Kong. He has 19 years experience in investment banking technology roles and vendor technology roles in both Europe and Asia. Alan was previously Regional Head of Market Data for Global Markets Equities IT in Deutsche Bank, Hong Kong where he was responsible for their low-latency data implementation and API strategy across APAC. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Alan was with Thomson Reuters for 7 years where he ran the Enterprise IMS business in Asia (Enterprise Platform) and had previously worked on many new initiatives such as TRHS hosting in the US and Machine Readable News in the Innovations Group; Also in his time at Reuters, Alan spent two years in Thailand off-shoring 2nd level engineering and support for RMDS.

Sallianne Taylor is the Global Head of Exchange Business Management for Bloomberg Data Acquisitions

Exchange Business Management manages relationships with global exchanges, real time trading venues and News wires. Accurate, timely data is key to the success of Bloomberg’s business, driving its unique suite of analytics and feeds and providing its journalists with premium data on which to base their reporting. By leveraging the relationships Bloomberg has with these sources the Exchange Business Management team negotiates contracts, drives market data policies, develops real time feeds and spearheads the development of new functionality to ensure the successful integration of real time content into all of Bloomberg’s products.

Sallianne joined Bloomberg in 1989 and has held various positions within Sales, Trading systems and Product Development. Prior to joining the Exchange Business Management team she was Global Head of Bloomberg’s Analytics desk. Peter Tierney is a principal of Saquish Partners and an Advisor at AsisEx markets and specializes in market access and financial technology solutions in the Asia region.

Originally from Ireland Peter has worked in senior financial technology roles in the UK, US and Asia. Peter draws on deep subject matter expertise in both the pre- and post-trade environments, telcomms, trading architecture and data management and has a demonstrated specialty in developing platform services that bring together communities within the financial space. He joined Thomson Financial ESG (now Omgeo) in 1991 as part of the founding team and worked in London, Singapore and the company’s headquarters in Boston. Peter was part of the executive team that defined and executed the merger with the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) creating Omgeo. Peter then joined the financial extranet provider Radianz (now BT Radianz) where he led global strategic business development. Among other things, Peter and his team was instrumental in developing their low-latency proximity hosting offering in NY, London and Tokyo. Most recently Peter led the successful development of the NYSE Technologies business in Asia. Under his leadership, the business established a strong enterprise software and services revenue flow in the areas of order routing, market data and exchange technology. Peter was instrumental in the acquisition of Japan-based Metabit in 2011 and the definition of NYSE Technologies’ global Liquidity Hub strategy. Peter has established deep and successful relationships around the region with exchanges, brokers and buy-sides.

Peter guest lectures on financial technology as part of Singapore Management University’s (SMU) Masters in IT (Finance) program. He is married with 2 children and is an active member of the Irish community in Singapore.

Eugen Tjong is Head of Enterprise Solutions Real-Time, Asia Pacific for Thomson Reuters. In this role Mr. Tjong has responsibility for all Real-Time solutions within the Asia Pacific region which includes all the Real-Time Feeds, Low Latency Feeds and Hosting solutions.

Before moving to Hong Kong, Mr Tjong was based in London where his roles among others included, Business Manager Enterprise Information, Head of Sales EMEA Low Latency Feeds, Head of Integration and Head of Sales Northern Europe.

Mr. Tjong was both educated in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom and has a degree in business and a PhD in Engineering.

Johnnie Yung

Johnnie Yung, Director, is the Head of Index Equity Portfolio Management Group of Asia Ex-Japan region at BlackRock. He is responsible for managing both Equity ETFs and Index Equity institutional mandates in the region. Prior to joining BlackRock in June 2010, Mr. Yung worked as a Portfolio Manager for Dacheng Fund Management Company in China as well as set up its ETF business and platform in Hong Kong. Before that, he was a Senior Director at Royal Bank of Scotland Plc; and was a Vice President for DBS Bank in Hong Kong covering various capital markets initiatives. Previously, Mr. Yung was a portfolio manager for Ontario Teachers' Pension Board in Canada where he was responsible for both active and passive equity portfolio management for over 9 years. He had also been involved in Fixed Income Analytics development for Manulife and managed fixed income portfolios for Crown Life, both in Canada. Mr. Yung earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from University of Manitoba and a Master of Mathematics degree from University of Waterloo in Canada. He is a fully qualified Actuary and has been accredited Fellow of the Society of Actuary (FSA). He holds the CFA charter.
