He has been with the organization since 2010, previously serving as an associate publisher, managing the sales team for the wireline and video group. Michelle Hentz is the Executive Portfolio Manager for Chemistry and ECPS at McGraw-Hill Higher Education. In 2012, Michelle earned her MS in Chemistry from Baylor Univeristy. From graduate school, she started her career in higher education with a start up company in Austin, TX -- Sapling Learning. She has spent the past 7 years of her career dedicated to driving innovation and forward-thinking by developing effective learning materials for STEM courses. In 2018, she joined the McGraw-Hill family and has focused her efforts on addressing the STEM equity and achievement gap by enhancing a key digital solution, ALEKS Chemistry. Student retention in the STEM disciplines is a massive concern given that STEM job demand continues to increase and yet supply of STEM graduates is declining. This is particularly pervasive with under-represented minority, first-generation college students, and Pell grant students, causing an equity gap within these course areas. ALEKS is a proven tool in addressing the equity gap. Michelle is dedicated to continuing to promote and improve the overall ALEKS experience to reach more STEM students and removing barriers from them so they are able to achieve STEM degrees. This will ultimately lead to better jobs and a brighter future for our next generation!

Rhiannon Van Ross

After graduating with a degree in Law and Finance, Rhiannon Van Ross went into the commercial trust industry, spending two years at Law Debenture working her way up to a Commercial Trusts Officer, looking after several major clients including Camelot and Euromillions. By 2011 she took a career change and joined the Incisive Media brand, Legal Week as conference manager and new business development lead, creating bespoke content for private client and trust litigation lawyers.
In 2014, she took the position of International Event Director for ALM, single-handedly producing and running 17 events across China, Singapore, Latin Americas and Europe in just 10 months.
Rhiannon continued to work on the content of events but also took on the position of Director of Strategic Projects where she created new bespoke event and media products for ALM.
In late 2017, Rhiannon was asked by the CEO of ALM to lead the development of a new revenue stream for ALM, Global Memberships. With the acquisition and development of a small network of General Counsel - Global Leaders in Law - Rhiannon has overseen a major growth area for ALM. In its first year, Rhiannon independently managed the business from website creation to securing global sponsorship deals, as well as its integration into ALM. By December 2018, the network was receiving attention from around the world.
GLL gained the reputation as the ‘most respected GC network in the world’ and had the following of many major companies including Uber, Mastercard and PayPal. This feedback encouraged Rhiannon to look at her other professional networks and she identified a gap within the private client community. Within 3 months, Rhiannon created a brand-new business and membership group, the Private Client Global Elite, the group already has of 60 members and runs 30 events globally, taking the total number of events under Rhiannon’s management in 2020 to 64.
In her spare time, Rhiannon enjoys supporting charities including the Cystic Fibrosis Trust who she has run several marathons for. She enjoys travelling and at the time of writing has visited 81 countries, she has her sights on 100!

A niche publisher of top veterinary media brand Clinician’s Brief, and the industry’s leading digital subscription product, Plumb’s Veterinary Drugs. He manages a team of software engineers and data analysts. He focuses his time on implementing long-term media technology, SaaS, and data solutions.
- Noelle Bathurst
Noelle is the portfolio manager for operations and decisions sciences at McGraw-Hill. In this role, she works closely with authors, developers, project managers, and instructors to strategize, plan, and develop educational content for higher education business courses, including business statistics and analytics, operations management, and business math. She also partners closely with marketing and sales to support customers and promote products.
Noelle has been with McGraw-Hill for over 12 years. She started her career in editorial development, working on the text content and digital tools for key projects in economics, finance, and investments. She took over management of the operations and decision sciences portfolio in 2017 and has signed two new first edition products and developed new tools and offerings for these course areas. She especially loves learning about these disciplines and getting to know instructors and students.
Noelle was born and raised in Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan. She works in McGraw-Hill’s Chicago office and lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and two daughters, Nora (6) and Ivy (2).

Jackie Cairnes is the Manager of Audience Development and Media Operations for DTN/Progressive Farmer. She works with sales teams, retailers and advertising agencies in the agriculture industry to develop and deliver digital advertising campaigns to reach farmers and ranchers. Starting her career in the travel industry creating sales promotions and communication materials, Jackie learned how to efficiently communicate to audiences to gain trust and accountability from customers and colleagues.
Over the last 8 years at DTN/Progressive Farmer, Jackie has grown into her current role after a path starting with Sales Promotions Manager, then Digital Operations Manager, and now is also gaining experience in Product Management working with developments teams to enhance software solutions and online products.
Jackie holds a BA in Marketing from Auburn University. She lives in Birmingham, AL with her husband Corey, their 2-year old, Clair and black lab, Molly.

She handles all aspects of the digital product lifecycle and coordinates with internal partners to deliver an exceptional customer experience from onboarding to renewal. Prior to her role with IOFM, Becca worked in editorial for both print and digital media. She graduated from Bates College with a B.A. in History and currently resides in Portland, Maine.

After receiving dual degrees from The University of Alabama Jennifer began exploring different avenues in customer service to find that event direction and management along with competitive vendor sales was a perfect fit. Having worked on the largest educational conference in the hotel industry for several years Jennifer joined Chartwell in 2017 with the goal to innovate and inspire Chartwell’s brand and events while maintaining an unforgettable customer experience. Jennifer has been able to grow Chartwell’s current conferences in both revenue and attendance in exponential ways and thoroughly enjoys working with their partners.

As news editor, she works with editorial staff across Energy Intelligence’s DC, New York and Houston bureaus to coordinate and guide the firm’s Americas-based coverage across several publications to ensure timely and thoughtful content on key issues facing the oil and gas industry. Mrs. Merriman also serves on Energy Intelligence’s Editorial Leadership Committee.
She joined Energy Intelligence in 2008, covering the corporate oil sector for nine years before becoming Editor of Petroleum Intelligence Weekly in 2017. From 2010-15, Mrs. Merriman also edited Energy Intelligence Finance.

Teilmann has a long history with Questex. Prior, Tielmann led Travel Agent University’s digital education platform, which is designed for travel advisors. Tielmann spearheaded the transformation of the business from a sponsorship model funded by destination tourism boards, hotel brands and cruise lines around the globe into a SaaS model. Travel Agent University (TAU) is the premier education platform for travel advisors, with 60+ training programs and 100k US & Canadian members.
Earlier, Tielmann was a Project Manager at Weill Cornell Medical College with the web communications team leading the production and life cycle of internal websites for the college and New York Presbyterian Hospital.
