Ramón Adarraga is Director of the Information Business Unit and Director of the International Affairs Division of the Group Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME). As Director of the Information Business Unit of BME, Mr. Adarraga holds the positions of Executive Chairman of BME Market Data S.A. -the company in charge of the generation, commercialization and management of all the market information coming from the different trading platforms and systems operated by BME as well as any other value added information coming from external sources-, and CEO and Managing Director of Infobolsa, S.A. -the commercial vendor shared by BME and DBAG.As the Director of the International Affairs Division of BME, he is responsible for managing BME’s relations with international institutions, federations and regulatory bodies. He has held the Chairmanship of the Management Committee of the European Federation of Securities Exchanges (FESE) and has actively participated, representing BME, in the legislative processes conducted by the European institutions in areas related to the capital markets (Investment Services, Market Abuse, Takeover, Prospectus, clearing and settlement, etc.).Mr. Adarraga has also coordinated the Consulting & IT Business Unit of BME from 2003 to 2010, acting as the Managing Director of BME Consulting until 2010 and he is Board member of Visual Trader Systems, S.L, the European Capital Markets Intsitute (ECMI) and the IEAF (Instituto Español de Analistas Financieros).Ramón Adarraga has an Economic and Business Degree from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas, ICADE, in Madrid. David Anderson is a well know market data consultant on both sides of the Atlantic. He has worked in the market data industry since 1984 - including roles with Telerate, Bishopsgate Systems and he spent nearly 13 years with Reuters culminating in various global marketing roles; predominantly working on market data systems (e.g. Triarch and RMDS). Since 2002 David has been operating Atradia (www.atradia.com), a management consultancy practice focused on the market data industry. He has been quoted commenting on the market data industry in major publications such as the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the International Herald Tribune, Business Week and many others. David speaks on the subject of market data at conferences and has moderated a wide variety of industry panel sessions. He edited the respected annual ‘IMD Reference’ book between 2003 and 2009 and most recently he has been very closely involved with the new SIIA/FISD initiative to create a professional certification program for market and reference data practitioners. David also acts as a Program Director for a variety of other FISD activities.

Maher Asham Joined EGID in 2003 as the CEO and a board member. EGID is a totally owned subsidiary of CASE working in the fields of financial information and system development for financial markets. Maher is also the IT Supervisor of CASE since 2004. During that period EGID managed to offer a wide range of information services, consultancy and systems in Egypt and the Middle East as well. Before EGID, Maher worked for Reuters since 1993 in several positions, in Cairo as well as in Geneva, ending as the Marketing and Business Development Manager for East Med. and North Africa. During that period he built the exchange data on Reuters platforms for MENA markets as well as developed several products and services. Maher is also a part time faculty in both the Management and Economics Departments at The American University in Cairo. He has been the IT manager of Santa Fe Drilling Co, and developed several educational simulation models about financial markets. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and an MBA in International Business, both from the American University in Cairo.

Nader Azar is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE), a position he has held since the creation of the ASE in March 1999. During this period the ASE has implemented electronic trading system and all of the rules and regulations required to run the ASE. Mr. Azar was the project manager of the Automation of the ASE. Mr. Azar responsibilities include overseeing the (7) Departments of the ASE.
Prior to his work at the ASE, Mr. Azar was the Director of different Departments at the Amman Financial Market (AFM) subsequently Jordan Securities Commission (JSC). He was also seconded for two and half years to Muscat Securities Market, Muscat – Oman right after the launching of the exchange 1991. During his work experience, Mr. Azar participated in many conferences and workshops related to the Exchange industry, and he is the Chairman of Working Committee (WC) of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS). Mr. Azar received his undergraduate degree in Financial Institutions Management from the University of Houston, Texas. U.S.A.

Sue leads the centralisation of all external vendor related activity across JP Morgan Worldwide Securities Services (WSS) for Market Data. Her responsibilities include evaluating external market data vendor services and driving a value curve model for delivery of their services in line with Industry best practise. She was previously Head T&O for ICICI Bank and headed Operational Risk & Controls for the EMEA region at JP Morgan for the Investment Bank. Prior to that was Chief Administration Officer & Head of EMEA Vendor Management for JP Morgan Asset Management. 25 year + financial service industry experience.

Ivo Bieri

Ivo Bieri is Head of Strategic Business Development and member of the management committee at SIX Telekurs Ltd, a division of SIX Group. He is responsible for the business lead in major regulatory and infrastructure projects, development of the data strategy and product line extensions, as well as M&A activities. Before taking up this role in 2011, he worked in a variety of management positions within the data and product management departments at SIX Telekurs, most recently heading Product Management and Marketing.

Ivo Bieri holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur. Prior to joining SIX Group in 1999, he worked as a payments and online banking specialist at UBS (1992-1999).

Ertugrul Cagan

Ertugrul CAGAN is responsible for market data bussiness within ISE and managing a team that is responsible for running contract relationship with the data vendors. In addition to his 10 years experience in this area, he also involved in developing policies for licencing ISE's Indices for financial products and licencing the ISE data for Index Providers. He has recently lead a project of launching ISE's new Information Distribution Agreement.

During his 20 year work experience in ISE, he managed many projects regarding to trading systems and data distribution infrastructures of ISE. He still continues his role of defining and designing the strategy and architecture of trading system components and market data systems of ISE with a long term technical background on this area. He holds a Bachelor in Computer Science Engineering from Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul.

Bob is European business lines director, Pricing and Reference Data, Interactive Data. In this role, Bob focuses on executing product development plans, product reliability, product infrastructure, future business opportunities and the product development process. Bob Cumberbatch joined Interactive Data in June 1998 as production director to run the company's IT operations. He was responsible for the mission critical IT infrastructure with a 24 x 7 data centre, a 24 x 6 help desk, technical support group, network support and project planning. From January 2003, Bob led an international real-time integration programme aimed at integrating the then newly-acquired ComStock's infrastructure into that of Interactive Data. Bob also led Interactive Data's cross-organisation MiFID project team. Prior to his work at Interactive Data, Bob worked for Telerate / Dow Jones Markets for 10 years where he helped to establish an exchange-traded securities service more commonly known as TIQ. Bob held senior management positions as IT strategic planning and IT operations manager for the EMEA region. He has also worked for Mercury Communications (Cable & Wireless) and British Telecom.Bob has an MSc in Networked Information Engineering.

FEAS currently has 34 member exchanges covering 30 countries in the Middle East, Asia and South East Europe.

After graduate school she worked in consulting for 5 years both in the US and Abroad in the areas of telecommunications and finance. In the time between undergrad and graduate school she worked for the Peace Corps in Botswana aimed at small business development.

André’s role, within BNP Paribas, is to analyse the market data landscape and all factors such as regulations, mergers, IT innovations … that can impact it. His topics of interest are both the offer side (vendors, exchanges, brokers, new ventures) and the demand side (BNP Paribas business lines). Since 2005, he focused on the MiFID directive and its impacts on Market Data and Market structure for the different BNP Paribas business lines. He is very invested in the collaborative approach in different user groups (Cossiom, IPUG, FISD…). Previously Head of BNP Paribas Market Data projects from 2002 to 2006, he has been working in the Capital Market area for 20+ years. He was hired by Paribas in 1990 as a project manager to lead the development of the trading system for Fixed Income and Derivatives. He was then appointed head of IT for trading rooms in Paris where he oversaw support, production, engineering and administration of Market Data and trading systems worldwide. He was part of the Euro and Y2K projects within BNP Paribas. Previously, he worked for two years at Alcatel as a researcher in quantum optics and three years at the financial direction of Ciments Francais, a French cement company, in charge of developing models and simulations for the acquisition department. He holds two MS in Physics and Electrical Engineering.

His mission is to expand the uses of exchange information while reducing or eliminating administrative burdens. Immediately prior to his current role, Bill spent 18 months in Egypt working with Chemonics International consulting for the Egyptian Capital Markets Authority and the Cairo and Alexandria Stock Exchange. Bill was a Senior Vice President at the Boston Stock Exchange where he served in many capacities including managing the Trading Floor, Corporate Communications and as the representative to the Consolidated Tape Association. In his early years, Bill worked for Merrill Lynch while putting himself through both under Graduate and Graduate degree programs at Suffolk University in Boston.

José Luis has been working for the company since 1995 in different sales positions, from information management systems specialist to real-time and reference data sales manager. José Luis is a member of the Thomson Reuters EMEA-West Solutions management team where he leads Italy, Spain and Portugal business. Prior to his current position, José Luis worked for Hewlett Packard as open systems consultant and ATOS Origin where he started up the TIBCO, a leading enterprise process management software company, business in Spain and Portugal in 1993. During the last eighteen years, José Luis has been in a privileged position to participate in the evolution of the dramatic changes experienced in the financial market data and technology business: from simple real-time data solutions to extraordinary complex solutions mixing ultra low latency data, reference and historical information, under different proprietary and standard technologies. Moved to eCommerce in 1999 then into equity market connectivity and algorithms before taking on current responsibility for European market infrastructure in 2006. Having been involved in multiple equity market structure initiatives (he was on the Board of both BOAT and Turquoise) Stephen's motivation, and remit, is to improve market efficiency to increase trading volumes. Greatest career achievement is finding a job he loves in The City of London while avoiding having to relocate from Edinburgh where he lives with wife, three children and a puppy called Frankie.

central banking and national treasury through to investment banking, broking and derivatives trading.
In December 2007 he took Arcontech onto the London Stock Exchange and became CEO of Arcontech Group plc. Andrew is an active participant in industry working groups and a vocal advocate of internetworking communities, crossplatform integration and vendor independent technologies to facilitate choice; reduce costs and increase quality of realtime market data and systems.

Mark Schaedel is Senior Vice President and Head of Global Data Products for NYSE Euronext and part of the NYSE Technologies division. Global Data Products also develops electronic trading and exchange data solutions which provide NYSE Euronext and third-party content through integrated services which are powered by NYSE Euronext’s high-performance software and global SFTI network infrastructure. Mark joined NYSE Euronext in 1999 to lead the effort of launching and developing the Proprietary Data Products group at NYSE. Mark has spent his entire professional career in financial services and was previously COO of StreetServe Inc., a financial services and management consulting organization he helped create.
