Ginny T. Lee

Ginny T. Lee

Chief Information Officer, Information Technology, Intuit

Ginny Lee is Intuit’s senior vice president and chief information officer. Appointed to the position in February 2008, she is responsible for further developing the company’s technology and business infrastructure to improve productivity, accelerate growth and provide customers with great experiences.

Working at Intuit since November 1996, Lee has held a variety of general manager and business operations leadership roles. Before being named CIO, she was vice president and general manager of Intuit’s Payroll business unit, where she was responsible for the company’s line of payroll products and services.

Previously, she was vice president of Intuit’s order-to-cash organization and customer service, and vice president of corporate business operations and enterprise systems, overseeing companywide business operations and infrastructure. Lee has also served as business line leader for QuickBooks Internet Gateway Services and director of operations and product management for the Financial Supplies Group.

Treb Ryan

CEO, OpSource, a Demension Data Company

Since 1996, Mr. Ryan has been instrumental in defining and creating services organizations that improve the quality and reliability of the technology infrastructures businesses depend on for communications and commerce. Prior to co-founding OpSource in 2002, Mr. Ryan was President of the Americas for Metromedia Fiber Network (MFN). He was responsible for integrating the sales and delivery organizations of the company's Internet businesses-hosting, IP networking, and managed services. Under his leadership, MFN customers included BP Amoco, JP Morgan Chase, Sony, Microsoft, and Mercedes-Benz. Mr. Ryan joined MFN from SiteSmith, a company that he co-founded in 1999 and ultimately sold to MFN the following year in a deal valued at $1.4 billion. Mr. Ryan has been a guest speaker at numerous industry events, including CIO, venture capital, Internet, hosting, and software conferences. He attended UCLA and is an advisor to the UCLA CLAS fund.

Jim Whitehurst

Jim Whitehurst was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Red Hat in December 2007.

Before joining Red Hat, Whitehurst held various positions at Delta Airlines, most recently as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for Operations, Sales and Customer Service, Network and Revenue Management, Marketing and Corporate Strategy. Prior to joining Delta, Whitehurst served as Vice President and Director of The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and held various leadership roles in their Chicago, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Atlanta offices.

A native of Columbus, Georgia, Whitehurst graduated from Rice University in Houston, Texas, with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Economics. He also attended Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen, Germany, holds a general course degree from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

He founded Infommersion, creator of Xcelsius ®, in 2002, which he later sold to Business Objects in 2005. Santiago was also the founder and CEO of Graphical Information Inc., a software company that he sold to Oracle Corporation in 1998. Both acquisitions resulted in the successful integrations of the products into the acquirers' business applications. With the launch of MeLLmo, Santiago's goal is to reinvent the way individuals access, process, and utilize information on a mobile device.

Aneel Bhusri is Workday’s co-Founder and co-CEO of Workday, responsible for the company’s overall strategy and day-to-day operations.

From 1999 to 2004, he served as Vice Chairman of the Board at PeopleSoft. From 1993 to 1999, Aneel held a number of senior leadership positions at PeopleSoft, including senior vice president in charge of product strategy, business development, and marketing.

Eileen Boerger is President of Agilis Solutions and its parent company, CorSource Technology Group. Most recently, Eileen was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Agilis Solutions and has been responsible for the delivery of our outsourced software development services and technical staffing services.

Eileen has extensive experience in the development and maintenance of software systems and applications. She also has managed the outsourcing of software development and maintenance projects to several countries, including Vietnam, India and New Zealand.

Prior to joining the company, Eileen was Vice President of Operations at QualityLogic, where she was responsible for delivering Quality Assurance services. She has also held a variety of management positions at Mentor Graphics Corporation and Unisys Corporation.

Eileen is currently a member of the Oregon Engineering and Technology Industry Council (ETIC), a public sector - private industry partnership focused on growing the capacity and excellence of Oregon's engineering and technology programs. She has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Software Association of Oregon (SAO) and the Women in Technology International (WITI) Foundation. Eileen has been recognized by Open Computing magazine as one of the "Top 100 Women in Computing".

Vik Chaudhary serves as VP of product management and corporate development at Keynote Systems, a public technology company in Silicon Valley. He is responsible for leading Keynote's product management team and has extended the company into new markets via 14 acquisitions. He has spent 20 years in chief executive, marketing and engineering positions at blue-chip and start-up companies, previously having served as VP Marketing and Corporate Development at Keynote, CEO of a cloud startup Bizmetric, and has held leadership roles at public software companies Gupta Technologies and Oracle Corporation. Mr. Chaudhary is a frequent speaker at industry events on Internet software, cloud computing, and business development, and has been featured in the New York Times and on the ABC News Nightline program. Marc has completed over 50 software/SaaS M&A transactions including gateways, enterprise, mobile services, healthcare, energy and education sectors. Clients include leading private equity firms and leading SaaS/software companies. Marc also has significant cross-border experience including deals in the PRC (China).

Marc has over 16 years of financial experience and prior to joining Grant Thornton, Marc was a Senior Manager at a Big Four M&A Transaction Services team. He also has prior experience in investment banking, corporate development and public accounting.

Michael Crandell is the CEO and a founder of RightScale, where he provides the vision and direction for the company as it pioneers innovative ways to bring the power of cloud computing to any organization. Crandell is a frequent speaker at cloud computing industry conferences, and he has played a major role in helping establish and promote openness and transparency in the cloud market. Prior to RightScale, he served as CEO at several Internet Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) companies and as executive vice president at eFax.com. Crandell received his B.A. from Stanford University and completed graduate studies at Harvard University.

Prior to joining The Planet, Mr. Day held the position as Senior Application Developer at Catalog.com. His employment history includes positions with Texas Instruments, MCI WorldCom, and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He brings extensive experience in product and software development. His skill set includes PHP, Cold Fusion, Perl, HTML, XML, C, C++, and Python. Mr. Day earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Kelly Dempski

Kelly Dempski is the Director of Accenture Technology Labs in San Jose. For over 15 years, Kelly has worked as a researcher in the labs, and is also currently the Research Lead for the Customer Lab - the TechLabs group that is focused on new ways to engage and serve customers through new digital channels.

Kelly has led projects and created innovations in the areas of interactive television, 3D visualization, online games, virtual reality, collaboration, and social media. He currently holds 9 patents on technologies in these areas, and has published many papers and three books.

Kelly graduated from University of Illinois and received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering

Bonnie Durkin

Bonnie Durkin is a Cloud Business Development Manager with IBM ISV & Developer Relations, responsible for building relationships globally with application providers who go to market via a cloud business model. Her focus is on education, recruitment, program management and marketing support for application providers who have already adopted cloud technology or who are considering moving to the cloud. She is also responsible for recruiting new application providers into IBM’s cloud specialty program, which delivers additional go-to-market benefits for cloud partners.

Bonnie joined IBM after graduating from The Ohio State University cum laude with a BA degree in business management. Based in Chicago, Bonnie has held a number of roles in sales, marketing, strategy and management during her extensive career with IBM.

Most recently Richard served at Cheif Marketing Officer at SpotlightTMS. Previous to Rackspace, he had founded Internet Direct, one of Texas’ oldest and largest Internet service providers.

Feyzi has over twenty five years of experience building high-performance high-tech businesses including multiple business units at HP and four software start-ups in Silicon Valley and in Southern California. Two of these start-ups were named among the annual Red Herring 100, with valuations from $100 Million to $1 Billion. Most recently, Corent won the 2009 Emerging Software Company of the Year award.

Feyzi has been a keynote speaker around the globe from Sidney to Singapore, and from Washington DC to London and Rome. He has also spoken at events by Harvard, Wharton, Stanford, Pepperdine, MIT, Cal Tech, and UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Feyzi is an inventor and patent holder for the design of the first real-time database. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Solar Engineering, a master’s degree in Software Architecture and an MBA in International Management. He received his director and corporate governance certificate from UCLA and is a graduate of Anderson School of Management’s prestigious M&A program.

Feyzi was elected to the board of the Technology Council of Southern California in 2007 and the Chairman of its Orange County chapter in 2008. In 2009, IBM named Feyzi to their exclusive IBM Partner Advisory Council.

Jim Fowler is Founder and CEO of InfoArmy and serves on the Board of Directors of CrowdFlower. Prior to InfoArmy Jim founded Jigsaw in 2003 and was CEO until it was acquired by Salesforce in May, 2010 for $175M. Jigsaw was awarded an Infocommerce Model of Excellence in 2005, and it is best known for pioneering Crowdsourcing in the BtoB information industry and for creating the business category of Data-as-a-Service (DaaS). Before his career in technology Jim was owner and operator of Lookout Pass, a ski resort in Idaho, and served in the US Navy as a Diving and Salvage Officer. Jim is a graduate of the University of Colorado and lives in San Mateo, California with his wife and son.

As President and CEO for Scribe Software Lou is responsible for Scribe's direction, continued growth as a leader in mid-market and enterprise integration as well as the company's entry into the cloud through Integration-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings.

An experienced entrepreneur, Lou has helped build several startups into successful brands and companies. He joined Scribe from Lotus Software where he served as Director of Operations and Strategy for Online Collaboration Services, IBM's first public cloud service. Lou came to IBM as CEO of WebDialogs, a leading provider of SaaS web conferencing services to channel partners, upon its acquisition by IBM in August 2007. Prior to WebDialogs Lou was Vice President of Business Development at Tessera Enterprise Systems, a pioneer in the field of customer relationship management. At Tessera he was responsible for strategic alliances and helped oversee the company's acquisition by iXL Enterprises in 1999. Prior to Tessera, Lou co-founded Workgroup Solutions, a regional systems integrator for client/server technology, where he was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Lou was involved in all facets of the spin-off of Workgroup Technology Corporation, including its venture capital investment and Initial Public Offering. He began his career at Xerox, where he held various sales positions and gained early exposure to the internet

Sandy Gupta

Sandy Gupta is General Manager, Marketing Strategy, for the Open Solutions Group (OSG) at Microsoft, where he drives product management for open source projects at Microsoft. His role at Microsoft is to bring the customer voice and requirements for the open source interoperability needs for Microsoft solutions for the Cloud. Sandy works with software vendors that offer open source solutions to develop strategic partnerships and engages with various open source communities. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2008, Sandy spent about 17 years in the Unix industry, starting his career as developer for Unix kernel and device drivers at ICL. Subsequently Sandy worked as a senior executive at other Unix companies, where he drove their technology architectures and product roadmaps.

Sandy holds a Bachelor Degree of Computer Engineering from the University of Delhi and is an alumnus of Kellogg School of Management.

 

Brian Haney

As Sr. Vice President, Member Services, Mr. Haney manages all aspects of INPUT’s Member Services group, leading a team of Member Advisors responsible for providing analytical research support, training, technical support, and proactive assistance to INPUT members. In addition, Mr. Haney personally supports members of the INPUT Network™ in their marketing and business development efforts.

Prior to building and leading the Member Services team, Mr. Haney served as the Director, Research Operations for INPUT, managing research efforts for the opportunities and profiles product suites, including the collection, production and delivery of relevant technology market intelligence for the Federal, State and Local marketplace. He started his INPUT career as a Federal Market Analyst, analyzing both strategic market issues as well as specific procurement opportunities.

Prior to joining INPUT, Mr. Haney was the Director of Research at Federal Consulting Services, Inc., where he managed federal IT market research projects, including market analyses, competitive assessments, and opportunity pipeline management support. He also served as the Director of Marketing for CEXEC, Inc., where he was responsible for managing all corporate marketing functions, including market research, marketing communications, and business development support.

Mr. Haney holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from American University in Washington, DC.

Patrick Harding

Patrick Harding is the Chief Technology Officer of Ping Identity, responsible for Ping Identity Labs, emerging technologies, architecture and standards, and developing the technology strategy for the company. Previously, Harding was a VP and the Security Architect (Enterprise Architect Division) at Fidelity Investments where he was responsible for aligning identity management and security technologies with the strategic goals of the business. Harding was integrally involved with the implementation of federated identity technologies at Fidelity – from "napkin" to production.

Harding has over 15 years experience in software development, networking infrastructure and information security. His industry experience includes financial services, travel services and consulting. Harding has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

Chris Holland

Chris Holland is SafeNet’s Vice President of Software Rights Management, responsible for product development and marketing activities for the business unit. He coordinates the business strategy evolving from changes in the market while enhancing the value the company brings to customers thorough new product developments, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Holland joined SafeNet in March 2004, after the acquisition of Rainbow Technologies, where he was Director of Product Management, Enterprise Division. In this role, he managed all aspects of product management, product marketing, and strategic direction, delivering high assurance security solutions to customers. During his tenure at Rainbow Technologies, he led the development of SSL remote access technologies.

Prior to joining Rainbow Technologies, Mr. Holland worked for Ericsson in product management, developing next generation phone technology for medium size enterprises. He developed network and security processors for a semiconductor company (Valence Semiconductor). Before moving to the United States in 1997, Mr. Holland worked in the UK for AST Europe, the computer systems division of AST.

Mr. Holland holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science and Software Engineering from Brunel University in London.

Mike Hoskins brings over 25 years’ experience developing and managing software companies to his roles as Pervasive CTO and General Manager of Pervasive Integration products. Mike joined Pervasive through its acquisition of Data Junction, where he was president.
As CTO, Mike champions Pervasive's technology direction, evangelizes its industry-leading data integration technology, and directs Pervasive Innovation Labs. Mike received the Austin AITP Austin 2007 Information Technologist of the Year Award for leading Pervasive DataRush™ development.
Mike received the Distinguished Alumni Award and the Bowling Green State University Centennial Alumni Award. He’s a widely respected thinker, has been featured in a variety of publications, and speaks worldwide on trends and innovations in highly parallel software, the multicore revolution and data integration.

Since joining salesforce.com, Kelman has helped evangelize the power and innovation of cloud computing and built its community of hundreds of partners and thousands of developers.

Previously, Kelman founded Ventaso, a venture-backed marketing content management SaaS company, where he served as vice president of marketing. Before that, Kelman held various sales and professional services positions at MicroStrategy, a leading business intelligence software company. Kelman holds a degree in economics with honors from the University of California at Berkeley.

Prior to Oracle’s acquisition of Hyperion Solutions, Jon was VP and General Manager of the Americas where he had full P&L responsibility for the entire Americas Field Organization with revenues in excess of $560 MM and over 400 people including Sales, Consulting, Education and Field Marketing. Jon was also VP of Global BI and Emerging Technologies where he was responsible for worldwide BI and newly acquired technologies field operations.

Bob La Loggia is CEO of StormSource Software, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based developer of online scheduling solutions for small and large businesses, Fortune 500 companies, colleges and universities, government agencies and other organizations. He has over 20 years of experience in the technology arena. Bob began his career at Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, where he gained valuable experience in systems development methodology and business operations. This experience prepared him for independent consulting roles with several Fortune 500 companies, including American Express and Honeywell. Bob started his first company in 1993, and has since been involved in four startups, culminating with the founding of StormSource Software in 2001. As CEO, he has grown Appointment-Plus, the company’s flagship product, into the leading cloud-based scheduling software application used to book over 1.5 million appointments each month and over 60 million appointments since its inception. Bob graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. He earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Bob’s passion is business, and he is a voracious reader on all aspects of it, from software development and leadership to the psychology of marketing. When he’s not studying business, he likes to spend time with his family and friends, while also squeezing in some time for travel and exercise.

David Liberatore

Director of Network Infrastructure, AppRiver, LLC

David Liberatore joined the AppRiver team in 2007 to oversee the design and build-out of secure networks capable of accommodating the company’s explosive growth in the email and Web security space. Under Liberatore’s direction, AppRiver now manages more than a thousand servers located in seven secure data centers on three continents. In addition to his role as the primary system architect, Liberatore also manages the vendor and service provider relationships necessary to bring new devices online swiftly and securely.

Liberatore brings to AppRiver a strong background in network design and architecture, having spent a decade designing computer networks in the health care and financial industries. The sensitive nature of the data he managed provided him with a wealth of experience in information security. That expertise is one reason why AppRiver has been able to expand its customer base exponentially without sacrificing privacy or security in the process.

An Ohio native, Liberatore studied Electrical Engineering at Kent State University and holds numerous professional certifications including the prestigious Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation.

As Executive Vice President of Brivo Systems, John is responsible for product development, marketing and sales for the SaaS provider of physical security management systems. In this role John continuously interacts with customers to determine how Cloud Computing and SaaS can be leveraged for improved implementation of physical security applications.

He has over 27 years of experience in the security technology domain having served in leadership positions for such companies as MATE Intelligent Video, Siemens Building Technologies, Security Technologies Group and Sensormatic Electronics.

He is a Maxwell School of Syracuse University alumnus and has completed graduate work in economics at George Mason University. He is a board member of The Open Security Exchange Association.

Andrew Ward is general manager of enterprise cloud services for Verizon, responsible for developing and implementing the company’s global marketing and product development strategy to build next-generation, business-class cloud computing infrastructure and services.

Prior to relocating to the U.S. in October 2010, Ward led Verizon’s IT solution practice in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for four years. In this management position, Ward built a successful team of sales professionals dedicated to selling cloud-based services across key European markets and drove significant adoption of cloud services among new and existing Verizon clients.

Since joining the company, Ward has held a variety of senior sales position in the United Kingdom and Europe, specializing in the sale of advanced information technology and hosting solutions to global enterprises. He joined Digex, a managed hosting company which is now part of Verizon, in 2000.

He began his career as a corporate account manager with a major U.S.-based software company specializing in messaging solutions.
