The awards have over 75 categories organized by industry focus: Content, Education and Software. The Content CODiE Awards, held during IIS 2013, showcase the information industry’s finest products, technology and services created by, or for, media, publishers and information services providers.

For the past 27 years, the SIIA CODiE Awards have been the premier award for recogniizing and honoring excellence and achievement in the software and information industries, In 2013, nominees selected from more than 75 categories organized by industry focus: Content, Education and Software.
Software CODiE Award winners recognize applications, products, and services which deliver solutions for use by business, government, consumers, academic, or other organizations. Software CODiE Award winners will be announced during a special awards luncheon on May 9, which is also the official close to AATC 2013.
