Terry Roche

Terry Roche is responsible for Information Management Solutions within Thomson Reuters . Prior to his current rule Terry was EVP Head of Strategic Business for Reuters Focus Group Accounts. Before joining Reuters in 2005, Terry held a number of senior positions at HSBC, including, global head of market data, head of global middleware, and commercial director, fixed income e-commerce. Terry is an industry veteran with 25 years experience. His career started in Telerate in 1983 and also included time at Salomon Brothers and 11 years at Republic National Bank of New York where he was head of trading infrastructure.
Roger Sargeant
Managing Director, International, INTERACTIVE DATA
Roger Sargeant is responsible for leading Interactive Data’s institutional business outside North America. One of his priorities is to align Interactive Data's resources in Asia Pacific more closely with those in Europe and the Middle East. Mr Sargeant brings extensive international experience in the financial industry to this role.
Roger Sargeant was previously managing director, Interactive Data (Europe), leading the business through strong organic growth and extending its leadership position, particularly in the areas of fixed income and real-time data. Mr Sargeant joined the company in 1990 and has held several senior business development positions, including a two-year period in Asia and seven years in North America.

Nassar Ahmad has more than 20 years experience in Capital Markets. He has undertaken data management projects throughout Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific.

Marc Anthonisen

Marc Anthonisen leads S&P’s data operations and delivery in
Asia-Pacific, including entity and security reference data, fixed income terms
and conditions, credit ratings and asset performance data. Based in Hong Kong,
Marc has worked across the region for the past 15 years, with postings with
Standard & Poor’s in Tokyo and Taipei. He has a degree in economics from Cornell
University in Ithaca, N.Y. and speaks Mandarin and Japanese.
Andrew Browne
China Editor, Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires
Andrew Browne is China editor of The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones
Newswires, a position he took up in December 2008. Andrew started his career in
journalism after graduating from Leeds University in 1980 with a degree in
Chinese Studies. He joined the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong as a
columnist and then moved to Reuters News Agency, where he spent 20 years running
bureaus around Asia before becoming news editor for the Asia Pacific region
based in Singapore. Andrew left Reuters in 2004 to join The Wall Street Journal
as its China economics correspondent. He was a member of a team of Journal
reporters in Beijing that won the Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting in
2007. He also received awards from the Society of Newspaper Publishers in Asia
in 2005 for his coverage of the Asian tsunami and in 2006 for his stories on
China's healthcare crisis.
Before his latest assignment at the Wall Street Journal, Andrew spent two years
at the Brunswick Group as a Beijing-based partner. In that role, he advised some
of China's largest state-owned enterprises on their financial communications
strategy, particularly outbound mergers and acquisitions. His clients included
China Investment Corp. and State Grid. Andrew grew up in Hong Kong, where he
attended King George V school. He speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. He
is married with two children, aged 13 and 15, who grew up mainly in Greater
China.
David Berry
Market Data Global Sourcing, UBSIn December 2008, David Berry joined UBS in the Market Data Global Sourcing department He was Head of Procurement and Cost Control Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets Europe from May to Nov 2008. From 2006 to 2008 he was Global Head of Market Data at Barclays Capital, the Investment Banking arm of Barclays Bank PLC. From 2001 to 2006 he worked for SGCIB, the Corporate & Investment Banking arm of Société Générale Group. He first worked as Head of Supplier Management for Market Data Services and held a number of managerial positions within SGCIB’s Information Technology department. He was appointed Global Head of Market Data Commercial in 2004. From 1993 to 2001, David worked for Morgan Stanley, first in the Fixed Income, Commodities and Foreign Exchange department, where he held Sales and Trading posts in Frankfurt and Paris. Later, he worked in their Market Data and Technology department in London. He is Vice-President of COSSIOM in charge of relations with IPUG, Member of the Executive Committee at IPUG and Co-Chair of the Consumer Constituent Group at FISD. A French national, David was educated in Germany where he holds a “Diplomkaufman.” He also earned a “Diplome des Grandes Ecoles” degree in Paris.
Married with three children, David is a keen rugby and ice-hockey player.
Chris Butler
NAB Group Data Management
Chris Butler leads NAB Group Data Management responsible for oversight and assurance of regional data management teams in Australia, UK, New Zealand and its Wholesale Banking division. Focus is on data frameworks, policies, and operating models to drive business engagement and increase data quality. This is achieved through alignment to business processes, data ownership and accountabilities are understood, and a focused approach is adopted.
Previously he has managed large complex risk, finance, warehouse and end user computing projects. It is through the experience of these projects that he has proved the importance of getting the data “right”.
Magnus Cattan
Director of Business Development, Interactive
Data Corporation
Magnus Cattan is business development director, Interactive Data
(Asia). Based in Hong Kong, he is focused on sales development and strategy
for fixed income and structured products, as well as Interactive Data’s
pricing and reference data services in Asia.
From 1999, Mr Cattan worked with Interactive Data’s fixed income descriptive
data team and in 2000 he was asked to set up an evaluations support team.
From 2001 to 2004, Mr Cattan was manager of the European bond support team,
working on several long-term projects including the implementation of
evaluations for the European and Asian Lehman Indices, European asset-backed
securities (ABS) and mortgage-backed securities (MBS).
From April 2005, Magnus Cattan was manager, Fixed Income and Derivatives,
responsible for Interactive Data's valuation business in Europe. During this
time he helped to build, promote and market several specialist offerings
such as a risk and analytical datafeed, pre-payment sensitive European ABS
and residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) evaluations, credit
default swap valuations, interest rate swap valuations and, most recently,
valuations for highly complex structured products.
Mr Cattan has also worked as a sales and marketing associate for Gartmore
Asset Management's Institutional Fixed Income and Currency Overlay Funds.
Bryan Chan
Head of Information Services Department, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited
Bryan joined the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) in August 2000 as the Senior Vice President responsible for Group Risk Management. Bryan was appointed Deputy Head of the Clearing Division of HKEx responsible for the operation and business development of the clearing and settlement of exchange trades in April 2001. With effect from 1 August 2005, Bryan is appointed Head of Information Services Department of HKEx.
Before joining HKEx, Bryan had worked in the Administrative Officer grade for the Hong Kong Government for over 12 years. His postings in the government included Trade Department, HKSARG delegation to the World Trade Organisation in Geneva and
Financial Services Bureau.
Bryan graduated in the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering major in Computer Engineering.

Mr. Kiang Dalaroy is the CIO of SSE Infonet Ltd., a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Shanghai Stock Exchange. SSE Infonet is responsible for
commercializing SSE's information asset and operating the SSE public
website. Prior to the current post, he has worked for Reuters Ltd. for 15
years in a number of regions and disciplines. Mr. Dalaroy holds a Degree in

Frank Desmond

Frank Desmond manages Tullett Prebon Information’s business in Europe and Asia. He has been responsible for spearheading Tullett Prebon Information’s market leading growth over the past four years. Tullett Prebon Information provides the financial community with independent market data from the OTC financial markets including Rates, Money and FX, Fixed Income, Volatility, Commodities and Energy.
Prior to joining Tullett Prebon Information, he spent more than a decade at Reuters in a range of legal and business roles and most recently was Head of Content Acquisition. Kerr Hatrick

Structuring, DEUTSCHE BANKKerr Hatrick received his PhD in Mathematical Biology from University College London. He has worked both in the risk management and pricing of credit derivatives (Dresdner Bank, Lehman Brothers), and as quanititative strategist for both Goldmans and Deutsche, where his research spanned both high and low frequency delta-one products. He has constructed and managed equity portfolios in excess of $100M, and his software has won numerous industry awards for Deutsche Bank. He currently heads Quantitative Products One in Asia.
Rafah Hanna

As Head of MTS Data, Rafah Hanna is responsible for global sales, marketing and product development of all MTS Data products. MTS Data has seen consistent year-on-year revenue growth since Rafah joined; as a result of his innovative approach and continual development and expansion of the MTS Data product suite.
Rafah brings a wealth of experience in market data from several high profile roles in debt capital markets. Prior to MTS, Rafah served as a senior executive of Global Data Acquisition at Thomson/Datastream, where he led key and complex data sourcing initiatives.
At Investthink, he was identified as a pivotal component to lead on a special project group working closely with the former CEO of Reuters Information. He has also held several Chief Content Officer roles with various global institutions and is co-chair of the FISD's Exchange Constituency Group.
Madhu Gayer

Madhu Gayer is a Senior Vice-President and Regional Head, Investment Risk & Analytical Services for Asia at the Northern Trust Company. Based in Hong Kong, Madhu will be responsible for IRAS client relations, sales and product development in the Asia Pacific region, with a particular focus on strengthening Northern Trust’s infrastructure for local delivery of risk and performance services. He has previously worked at Kapstream, Challenger, BT, Rothschild and State Street in various investment risk and analytical roles.
In his previous role at Kapstream, he was responsible for global interest rates strategy, quantitative modelling and risk analytics, risk budgeting, trade research and implementation. As part of the portfolio management team there, he won the Best Emerging Manager of 2008 at the AIMA Hedge Fund Awards. He has extensive experience with performance, attribution, compliance and risk from a technical as well as an operational perspective, having built teams (systems, processes, people) and achieved GIPS compliance in 3 major fund managers in Australia over the course of 10 years.
Wenlin Juang

Wenlin Juang is the Business Development Manager for the Enterprise
Division at Thomson Reuters. Based in Hong Kong, her role is to drive the
business for the pricing and reference data feed primarily used in the middle
and back office of custodians/fund administrators and fund managers.
Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Wenlin was a relationship manager at Standard
Chartered Bank in Hong Kong, responsible for developing the fund management
business. Her other professional experiences also included setting up a hedge
fund for China Development Industrial Bank as well as working as an
institutional sales for Smith Barney Inc. in both New York and Hong Kong.
Robin Leung

Previously, he spent 12 years with The Thomson Corporation, holding various roles in editorial management, content development, start-up operations, mergers and acquisition, business development and online publishing in the UK, Asia and Australia, including six years based in Hong Kong.
William Mateu

Will Mateu is responsible for regional Sales and Business
Development of ICAP Information Services for the Asia Pacific region. His role
encompasses the management of regional accounts inclusive of vendor sales
co-ordination. He is based in Sydney, Australia and reports directly to Mark
Benfield Regional Director, Asia Pacific ICAP Information Services. Prior to
joining ICAP in 2007, Will held a number of senior management positions in the
Market Data Industry located in New York. These included NumeriX, Cicada,
FactSet Research Systems, and Reuters. Will Mateu was also a Sales Trader of
equities and corporate bonds on Wall Street.
Jeannie Merritt
Associate Vice President, NASDAQ OMX
Jeannie Merritt is Head of Global Market Data Administration for NASDAQ OMX. Her team is responsible for the administration of the NASDAQ OMX and UTP market data products, including TotalView, NASDAQ OMX’s premier data entitlement as well as NASDAQ OMX PHLX, NordPool, NASDAQ OMX BX, Nordic and Baltic market data. The Market Data Distribution team conducts market data audits, processes datafeed applications and collects usage reporting. Jeannie has been with NASDAQ since 1996. Prior to 1996, she worked for the National Association of Securities Dealers as a regulatory analyst. Jeannie has an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park. She currently serves as the NASDAQ OMX representative on the FISD Executive Committee and co-chairs the Business Issues Advisory Committee.
Nick Merritt

Prior to joining FISD he was with the American Bankers Association from 2002-2007 where he served as Manager Service Membership providing products and services to more than 700 non-bank members of the ABA. Nick also worked with The Nasdaq
Stock Market from 1987 - 2001 and served as Senior Director Issuer Services. He

Andrew Miller

He conceived and continues to nurture Arcontech’s CityVision products for

Michael Mollemans

Michael Mollemans is the Head of Electronic Execution Sales at
Daiwa Securities America, where he manages the direct market
access, algorithmic trading, smart order routing, and program trading
services for the US, Japan, and South East Asian markets. Prior to his
wide ranging role at Daiwa Securities, Michael was in charge of US
electronic execution services for Credit Lyonnais Securities at their
New York office. Prior to this, he was in charge of Japanese electronic
execution services for Credit Lyonnais Securities at their Tokyo office.
Michael was previously a regional securities analyst for DBS securities
at both their Singapore office and Bangkok office.
Overall, Michael has over ten years of experience in the securities
industry in a variety of capacities - including research, trading, and
information technology project management - at a variety of markets,
including New York, Tokyo, Singapore, and Bangkok. Michael is also
a frequent speaker on a wide range of complex topics, including
Smart Order Routing, Regulation National Market System (RegNMS),

Frederick Pennino

Mr. Pennino has over 35 years experience focused on the Financial Markets
industry. Having started his career with a major NY based investment bank and
then a NY based major equities and options Exchange, Mr. Pennino later held
senior technology, sales and marketing roles at an OTC exchange, a European
based Market Data company, a software vendor specializing in the development and
deployment of applications to automate exchanges and clearing houses, and at
four separate IT companies. In this latter capacity, Mr. Pennino had Global
responsibility for strategy, business development, business consulting and
industry marketing focused on the Financial Markets industry. Today, Mr. Pennino
takes the lead in business and IT consulting to Exchanges and Clearing Houses as
the focal point of IBM’s global Market Infrastrucuture practice.
Mr. Pennino is recognized by the industry as a thought leader and as such is

international Globalisation Exchange and Clearing event. Over his career, Mr.

Hugh Stewart

Mike So
Associate Professor and Director of RMBI program,
The Hong Kong University of Science and TechnologyProf. Mike So,
Prof. Mike So is an Associate Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). His research interests include financial time series modeling, market volatility study and risk management. He is an associate editor of the journal, Asia-Pacific Financial Markets.
Active in university and industry collaborations, Prof. So has served as an advisor in many collaborative projects with mutual funds, stock exchange and international companies in financial and banking areas. He is also a certified Financial Risk Manager of GARP. Currently, he is the founding program director of a newly launched degree program in risk management and business intelligence of HKUST.
Rose Marie E. Sotelo
Head of Treasury Risk, LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES
Ms. Sotelo currently heads the Treasury Risk Management Department of the Land Bank of the Philippines, a wholly-owned bank of the Philippine government and ranks No. 4 among the biggest banks in the country. Her team performs oversight function for risks identification, measurement and analysis, monitoring and control of risks inherent in trading, investment, and other Treasury – related activities. Her oversight function covers areas of liquidity and market risk management specifically on funding requirements and/or ensuing liquidity gaps, interest rate and foreign exchange rate sensitivities, trading and equity pricing valuations as these impact to bank’s earnings and capital. In the process, she has authored fundamental policies and procedures vital to the effective implementation of the Bank’s liquidity, market and credit risk management activities. She also headed the Training Lead Team under the Landbank
Implementation Team (LIT) for the nationwide implementation of Capital Adequacy
Ratio (CAR). She was key to the development of the Treasury Risk Data
Consolidator System and the formulation of implementing policies and guidelines
for the Generation of Data for the Computation of Risk Weighted Assets covering
Treasury Risk.
Jean Williams
Product Business Owner, Asset Control
As a product business owner, Jean Williams is responsible for
developing and implementing overall solution strategies based on industry trends
and customer needs, defining growth opportunities, and influencing sales and
channel strategy for Asset Control. Ms. Williams has more than 25 years of
experience in global financial services and technology. Prior to Asset Control,
she was co-founder of Citadel Associates. She started her career at Lazards and
has held key operational roles at Lloyd’s Register, Deutsche Bank and ACT
Financials as well as heading a global business unit for Logica.

David Wilkinson

David
Wilkinson joined Equinix in 2002. He has spent more than 10 years living and
working in Japan and has primarily focused his career on the development of
business in the Japan market for foreign companies and helping Japanese
companies introduce foreign technologies and services to the market. Prior to
joining Equinix, Wilkinson served as President of CCC Network Systems K.K. for
four and a half years, leading CCC’s entry into both the Japanese and Korean
Markets. He also worked for the Fujitsu Group for more than 10 years, both
inside and outside of Japan. Wilkinson is currently serving as Director and
Treasurer of Futures Industry Association (FIA) Japan. He is also in the Japan
Regional Committee of FPL (FIX Protocol Limited) and a member of FIA Asia.

his 28 years at SIX Telekurs, Nourredine Yous has taken on various
managerial roles in the area of data management and led many reference
data projects. As a member of the Association of National Numbering
Agencies (ANNA), he has been representing the Swiss financial market
since 1992, the year ANNA was founded. At the same time, Nourredine Yous
has worked for ISO, first as convenor for the working group 6 that in
1995 published the first version of the ISO 10962 standard
(Classification of Financial Instruments - CFI). Under his leadership,
this ISO working group developed two additional standards ISO 18773
(Abbreviations) and ISO 18774 (Financial Instrument Short Name). Since
2000, Nourredine Yous has been the Chairman of ISO TC68/SC4, the ISO
subcommittee responsible for developing standards in the securities
area. Born in 1951, Nourredine Yous, graduated from the Technical
Banking Institute (“Institut Technique de Banque”), Paris. He later
moved on to study Business Informatics and was trained in IT project
management.
