Louis Eccleston President, S&P Capital IQ
Lou Eccleston is president of S&P Capital IQ and Chairman of the board of S&P Dow Jones Indices, businesses of The McGraw-Hill Companies. S&P Capital IQ is a leading provider of multi-asset class data, research and analytics to institutional investors, investment advisors and wealth managers around the world. S&P Dow Jones Indices is a global leader in providing investable and benchmark indices to the financial markets. Lou joined Standard & Poor’s in 2008 as executive managing director of Fixed Income Risk Management Services (FIRMS). Before joining Standard & Poor’s, Lou was chairman and chief executive officer of Pivot Inc., a leading provider of communications networks for institutional investors. Previously, he served as president of Global Sales, Marketing and Services for Thomson Financial, leading the integration of separate sales, service and marketing operations around the world into one globally coordinated entity. Lou was also president of the Banking and Brokerage division for Thomson Financial, its largest business operating group at the time, where he led the development and launch of Thomson ONE. Lou also spent 14 years as a managing director with Bloomberg L.P., where he helped build sales and customer service initiatives for the desktop, trading systems, the electronic brokerage business and media operations. |

Edwin Yuen Chief Analytics Officer, Bank of China
Voted Bank Risk Manager of the Year 2011 by Asia Risk for leading Bank of China Hong Kong (BOCHK) Group in the successful IRB accreditation with Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Edwin Yuen was also the Chairman of the Basel Implementation Committee of the Hong Kong Bankers Association in 2011. He heads the Basel Implementation Office in BOCHK Group and is responsible for the development and implementation of the overall Basel Program for retail banking, corporate banking, and IRB regulatory capital calculation for the BOCHK Group consisting of four banks and BOC Credit Card International. He joined BOCHK in May 2007 and completed the IRB development in a short span of 18 months, and after complying with the regulatory requirement for a two-year model use test, secured the HKMA accreditation on January 1, 2011.
Prior to his current position, Edwin was appointed by the UK FSA as senior examiner for Basel accreditation. He was the Head of Risk Analytics for Standard Chartered Bank based in Singapore, responsible for the successful global implementation of its Basel II Program with the UK FSA for the wholesale banking division. He held various senior positions in Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) in Toronto, Canada and United Overseas Bank in Singapore.
Edwin is a Basel implementation expert with over 10 years Basel experience and two successful IRB implementations. He has more than 20 years experience in risk analytics and computer system development and implementation experience.
Edwin holds MBA degree, post-graduate Diploma in Management and B.Sc. degree with honours, all from the University of Hong Kong.

Rob Agnew Partner, Marlin & Associates
Rob Agnew leads the technology investment banking advisory firm Marlin and Associates’ business in Asia – and is based in Hong Kong. Rob is Irish by birth and has been living in Asia – and advising technology, information and media businesses in Asia for more than 15 years. For the 10 years immediately before joining M&A, Rob led Matrix Services Limited, a strategic advisory firm that he founded and which specialized in advising western and Asian companies looking to exploit the considerable opportunities in Asia. Rob’s clients included major global corporations such as Thomson Reuters, Interactive Data, the London and Australian Stock Exchanges, Haymarket and Dow Jones. Earlier in his career, Rob worked for Reuters Group plc. in various finance and management roles in the US and in Asia where, among other things, Rob led the finance function for Reuters for the Greater China region.
Rob is a graduate of the University College Dublin and has a Masters from University of South Australia and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School. Rob is married with one daughter and is active in the Irish business community in Asia having been Chairman of the Irish Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong and Asia Pacific Ireland Business Forum.

David Anderson, FIA Program Director, FISD/Atradia
David Anderson is a well know market data consultant on both sides of the Atlantic. He has worked in the market data industry since 1984 - including roles with Telerate, Bishopsgate Systems and he spent nearly 13 years with Reuters culminating in various global marketing roles; predominantly working on market data systems (e.g. Triarch and RMDS). Since 2002 David has been operating Atradia (www.atradia.com), a management consultancy practice focused on the market data industry. He has been quoted commenting on the market data industry in major publications such as the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the International Herald Tribune, Business Week and many others. David speaks on the subject of market data at conferences and has moderated a wide variety of industry panel sessions. He edited the respected annual ‘IMD Reference’ book between 2003 and 2009 and most recently he has been very closely involved with the new SIIA/FISD initiative to create a professional certification program for market and reference data practitioners. David also acts as a Program Director for a variety of other FISD activities. |

In December 2008, David Berry joined UBS in the Market Data Global Sourcing department He was Head of Procurement and Cost Control Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets Europe from May to Nov 2008. From 2006 to 2008 he was Global Head of Market Data at Barclays Capital, the Investment Banking arm of Barclays Bank PLC. From 2001 to 2006 he worked for SGCIB, the Corporate & Investment Banking arm of Société Générale Group. He first worked as Head of Supplier Management for Market Data Services and held a number of managerial positions within SGCIB’s Information Technology department. He was appointed Global Head of Market Data Commercial in 2004. From 1993 to 2001, David worked for Morgan Stanley, first in the Fixed Income, Commodities and Foreign Exchange department, where he held Sales and Trading posts in Frankfurt and Paris. Later, he worked in their Market Data and Technology department in London. He is Vice-President of COSSIOM in charge of relations with IPUG, Member of the Executive Committee at IPUG and Co-Chair of the Consumer Constituent Group at FISD. A French national, David was educated in Germany where he holds a “Diplomkaufman.” He also earned a “Diplome des Grandes Ecoles” degree in Paris. John is a well-known market data industry expert with over 25 years of experience. He is renowned for insightful commentary and a deep understanding of market data systems and vendors. After graduating, John took a post as junior lecturer and research assistant in the computing dept. of King’s College London. Deval Bhalja is a Bloomberg Valuation Service (BVAL) Application Specialist. Since June 2012, Deval has been based in Hong Kong, overseeing strategic BVAL initiatives in the Asia-Pac region. Deval joined Bloomberg's New York office in May 2010 and has an extensive background in credit derivatives and structured products. Philippe Chambadal, CEO of SmartStream, is also the CEO of DClear - a wholly-owned subsidiary of DIFC Investments and SmartStream's parent company. As the CEO of DClear, Philippe led the acquisition of SmartStream in 2007.
Prior to his appointment he served as a SmartStream board member and actively driving the Company’s progress in the marketplace. Prior to MetaMatrix, he was EVP at FAME Software, a Warburg Pincus portfolio company - subsequently acquired by Sungard.

Ben Collins is the Sales and Marketing Director of Morningstar Real-Time Data based in the UK, where he is responsible for sales, marketing, channel sales and all other commercial activity for the real-time data business globally.
Previously, Ben was Sales and Marketing Director of Tenfore Systems Limited, before its acquisition by Morningstar in December 2008. Managing specialist sales teams located in London, Frankfurt, New York and Chicago, Ben acts as a real-time data specialist for all other global Morningstar offices.
Before joining Morningstar, Ben worked in various sales management roles at Thomson Financial, Bloomberg and Informa Global Markets. Prior to these roles Ben spent 10 years as an officer in the British Army.
Ben holds a bachelor’s degree in German Studies from the University of Manchester.

Steve Ellenberg Americas Lead, MDX Consulting, MDSL
Steve joined MDSL in 2012 as the Americas Lead on the MDX Consulting Team. Steve has over 20 years’ experience in a wide range of market data management activities at Tier 1 investment banks and their asset management divisions, as well as at several vendor organizations. This experience on both sides of the negotiating table has honed his ability to provide spend reduction solutions and expert market data management guidance to consumer organizations. In 2011 Steve consulted at BNY Mellon, and was also a Co-Chair for the Consumer Constituency Group at FISD. From 2005 to early 2011, Steve was a Vice President on the Market Data Sourcing Team at Credit Suisse, primarily focused on negotiating reference data licensing agreements. Tinku Gupta Senior Vice President, Head of Market Data & Access, Singapore Exchange
Ms Gupta is Senior Vice President and Head of Market Data & Access in Singapore Exchange (SGX). She is responsible for business development of market data, trading access and establishing co-location service and points of presence in key liquidity venues around the world like Tokyo, London, New York and Chicago. Ms Gupta joined SGX in 1996 through SIMEX (Singapore International Monetary Exchange) prior to its merger with the Stock Exchange of Singapore (SES) on 1 December 1999. Over these past 15 years, she has played a number of key roles in areas of solutions delivery and Programme Management. Under her programme management leadership, SGX successfully deployed major business solutions such as the Securities Trading Engine in 2008 and the Derivatives Clearing Engine in 2009. Prior to joining SGX, Ms Gupta was with Tata Consultancy Services in Mumbai, where she worked in various software development and IT project management assignments.

David Lecompte joined SIX Financial Information’s UK office in 2000 as team leader for the Eurobonds desk, before moving on to Training and Quality Manager for the UK market. He relocated to Paris in 2003, where he held the positions of Head of Business Development and Sales Director for France, Monaco and Andorra. He worked to establish SIX Financial Information as a key player in the French market, contributing to various industry working groups such as MiFID. Endre Markos is the Director and Asia Pacific Regional Head of Citi Execution to Custody, within the Securities & Funds Services Division for Citi Transaction Services. Based out of Citi’s Hong Kong office and appointed to this role in August 2010, Endre was initially tasked with leading Citi's Electronic Markets development in Asia-Pacific, including the CitiDirect® suite of products, Order Trade Manager (CitiConnect), Execution-to-Custody (E2C) as well as a variety of other connectivity solutions. E2C quickly became his primary focus as the industry participants demanded and recognized the value of this unique and innovative solution. Endre is additionally in charge of working with the bank's Intermediaries group to expand Citi's on-exchange clearing platform in Asia-Pacific, with a focus on the changing roles of local exchanges, clearing and securities depositories, as well as deploying E2C for Citi’s Investor clients in cooperation with Open Investor. During his 12 years at Bloomberg, Mr. Muhammad-Saul held various leadership positions in Europe and Asia. As head of EPS sales for London, Mr Muhammad-Saul was part of defining the Bloomberg Value Solutions(BVS) initiative, a consultancy service which helps customers be more productive on the Bloomberg platform. Most recently, he was Head of ASEAN sales for the Bloomberg Professional service where he led the development of a price discovery platform for structured products. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Mr Muhammad-Saul was an investment advisor and partner at J. Rothschild Partners.

Originally from Ireland Peter has worked in senior financial technology roles in the UK, US and Asia.
