Douglas B Taylor is Founder & Managing Partner of Burton-Taylor International Consulting LLC, a business consulting organization created in 2006 and focused on helping information, news, software and financial services companies improve performance. Mark is equally at home engaging all levels of discussion on the subject matter; from granular aspects such as data field mapping to broader industry-wide strategic challenges like LEI. During his 13 years at Bloomberg, Mr. Muhammad-Saul held various leadership positions in Europe and Asia. Nick Taplin

Nick Taplin has 10 years of experience within the FinTech industry, having held positions at some of the major worldwide suppliers in this space spanning both the buy and sell side. Nick joined SmartStream in early 2013 with a global remit to develop the growth of their reference data utility offering. Given their extensive market reach and history of technological innovation, the reference data utility was a natural direction for SmartStream to take and industry interest throughout 2013 has been extremely high as market participants seek alternative strategies to solve their data issues. This interest has been converted into several successful sales across the US, Europe and Asia in Q2-Q3.

Prior to joining SmartStream, Nick worked for Asset Control, where he held responsibility for the design and sales of data management solutions aimed at buy side firms. He has also authored or co-authored several white papers on the data management industry.
