SIIA UK is launching a series of Issue Briefs for publishers. Each month, we take a hot topic and bring together a couple of speakers for a 2 hour session with plenty of time for questions and networking. The Issue Briefs take place in central London and run from 9-11am. They are free for SIIA UK members with a pay as you go fee for non-members.
The first Issue Brief takes place on Tuesday 11 June on “New subscriptions marketing techniques”.
Our first speaker is Carola York, whose background in subscriptions marketing for Emap, Economist, TSL and Spectator provides her with a wealth of experience. Carola is now MD of Jellyfish Publishing, and will talk about the latest digital marketing techniques, from PPC to social media, retargeting and optimising online conversions. She’ll cover tips on getting more from your subs marketing budget including:
- Best practice on PPC and the latest on Google Enhanced Campaigns
- Remarketing – how to target your hottest prospects
- Selling subs via Facebook and Linked In
- Using video ads and YouTube to sell subscriptions
