SIIA Announces CODiE Award Winners for Business Software Industry

SIIA today announced the winners of the 2012 CODiE Awards in business software categories during a special awards presentation held during the SIIA’s annual All About the Cloud conference.

All of the business software nominated products and services were first reviewed by a field of software industry executives, whose evaluations determined 119 finalists. SIIA Announces CODiE Award Winners for Education Technology Industry

Last night, SIIA announced the winners of the 2012 CODiE Awards in education technology during a reception and dinner at SIIA’s annual Ed Tech Industry Summit. Overall, 29 winners were recognized for their products and services deployed specifically for the education technology market.

All of the education technology nominated products and services were first reviewed by a group of tech-savvy educators from across the nation, whose evaluations determined 128 finalists. SIIA is thrilled to announce 4 mobile software categories in the 2011 CODiE Awards program! Extensive platform adoption through smartphones and tablets, 4G rollouts, and the beginning of a major enterprise transition have already begun. Mobile is changing the way people think about business and software. The SIIA CODiE Awards acknolowedges these developments, and is dedicated to recognizing this year’s most innovative companies and products.

Recognizes the best business application designed for use on mobile devices to organize, access and manage content, data, documents, or records.
Products nominated here are eligible for the Best Information Management Solution and Best Mobile Solution supercategories.

2. Best Mobile IT/Network Management Application
Recognizes the best business application designed for use on mobile devices to manage IT operations.
Products nominated here are eligible for the Best IT/Network Management Solution and Best Mobile Solution supercategories.

3. Best Mobile On-Demand Application
Recognizes the best business application designed for use on mobile devices to either manage or access cloud-based or software-as-a-service solutions.
Products nominated here are eligible for the Best Mobile Solution and Best On-Demand Solution supercategories.

4. Best Mobile Operations Management Solution
Recognizes the best business application designed for use on mobile devices to manage any or various enterprise operations, including financial, human capital, sales, marketing, project management, data management, supply chain management, etc.
