I had a chance to sit down with Principal, Susan Dietrich, to learn more about technology resource solutions and staffing agencies. Please find my interview below.
Rhianna: Tell us about eStaff Consulting’s mission and what makes you unique.
Susan: e-STAFF Consulting Group, Inc. is a national provider of technology resource solutions for small, mid and large Fortune 500 companies coast to coast. Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, our customer focused approach allows e-STAFF to deliver on technology initiatives both locally and nationally. e-STAFF is committed to providing its clients with contract, contract to hire, and direct-hire consultants to best fit their staff augmentation and Direct Hire needs.
Rhianna: What type of effect would you say staffing agencies have on employment turnover? And what are staffing agencies doing to provide job security?
Susan: Staffing agencies have a positive impact on employee turnover. We are constantly looking for different projects and places for our employees to thrive and because we touch so many companies, we are able to develop many more opportunities than any normal situation could uncover.
Rhianna: What are the benefits for employers who outsource to staffing agencies to post jobs rather than using their internal resources?
Susan: It gives our valuable resources the flexibility to choose their working environment and have control over the projects that they work on. From an employer perspective, it gives our clients access to talent that they would normally not have access to.
Rhianna: Which job industry sees the most success in regards to using staffing agencies and why do you think that is? Which industry sees the least amount of success and why?
Susan: Many years ago, you would call into a client company as ask if they used staffing services, now we call into a client company and ask how large their spend is. There is no particular industry that the staffing industry excels in. Instead, we now touch every single industry in multiple disciplines that are difficult to find the right talent in.
