Industry Leaders Forecast Areas of Growth During Education Business Forum

Attendees received advice from the financial community that included Jean Hammond (LearnLaunch Boston), Matthew Greenfield (Rethink Education) and Brian Napack (Providence Equity). Although opinions varied, investors see the greatest potential in companies that have a working business model because of its ability to be scaled to the platform companies of the future. They also took interest in companies that propose solutions to big problems in order to change the lives of children. Finally, they predicted success for those companies that do something completely original, and for those companies who serve the special needs population. Winning products were presented at the Education Business Forum, the leading business and finance conference for the K-12 and postsecondary education technology market, held Dec. 8-9 in New York City.

SIIA Announces 2015 Innovation Incubator Program Finalists

ETIN announces finalists and an alternate, for the Innovation Incubator Program. The program will be held during the annual Education Business Forum (EBF), the leading business and finance conference for the K-12 and postsecondary education technology markets. The finalists will feature their products during the event, Dec. 8-9 at the AMA Executive Conference Center in New York City.  Awards will be presented to the Most Innovative and Most Likely to Succeed based on the votes of conference attendees.

SIIA Seeks Emerging Ed Tech Companies for Incubator Program

The Education Technology Information Network (ETIN) of SIIA is accepting applicants for its Innovation Incubator program. Selected developers of promising technologies designed for the K-12 and postsecondary markets will be invited to participate in the SIIA Innovation Incubator program during the 15th annual SIIA Education Business Forum, December 8-9, at the AMA Conference Center in New York. The deadline to apply is September 30.
