    Previews will take place on Monday January 29, the day before the annual Information Industry Summit. This event will feature a panel of corporate deal-makers, a keynote address and ten company presentations by innovative, early-stage companies that have built exciting content plays or content technology.     ¤ 2007 Global Information Industry Summit Steering Committee
    We are looking for members to help us plan next fall’s Global Information Industry Summit (GIIS), taking place in Berlin. The SIIA's inaugural Global Information Industry Summit was held in Amsterdam September, 2006, and more than 130 publishing executives, industry experts and business development specialists attended.     GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS / PUBLIC POLICY

    SIIA's Government Affairs program aggressively promotes and protects the interests of its member companies in legal and public policy debates by working with state, federal and international policymakers, organizing grassroots activism and participating in landmark legal decisions. SIIA is the leading voice on key issues affecting the software and digital content industry, particularly with regard to electronic commerce and the digital marketplace.
