What information do you need from me to register my copyrighted work?

Generally, you will need to tell us:

1. The title(s) of the work. (any titles by which this work is known)

2. The name of the author(s) of the work.

3. The date of birth of each author.

4. The nationality of each author.

5. Whether the author created the entire work, and if not, what elements of the work did he/she create and who created the rest of the work.

6. Whether the person who created the work was an employee of the author.

7. Whether ownership of the copyrighted work has been transferred to you or by you?

8. When the authored completed the work.

9. If the work was published, when was the work released to the public.

10. In what country did was the work first distributed?

11. Whether the work was based on any pre-existing work and, if so, what are the names and natures of those works and what material was added or what changes were made to create the new work.
