Dennis Callahan

Dennis Callahan joined The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America in 2000, reporting to the CEO. His responsibilities encompass Information Technology, E-Business, Facilities, Corporate Security and Business Process Outsourcing.. His staff numbers over 400 people, with IT and Facilities Budgets of more than $150 million and $35 million, respectively. Mr. Callahan was recognized by Computerworld as one of the "Premier 100" IT executives in all industries for 2003. Over a career spanning thirty years, he was CIO of AIG, SVP of Asset Services Group at Fidelity, CIO of Wellington Management Company. Mr. Callahan started his career his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co., he was VP, Global Operations and Technology, managing a global staff in transaction/trade processing and global clearance. Mr. Callahan completed undergraduate studies at MIT and New York University in mathematics. As a graduate candidate at NYU, he converted his job in the Information Financial Services division of Standard & Poor's into a full-time career.
David Carpini

David brings more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry, the last seven of which he spent helping companies leverage global delivery capabilities and offshore best practices. Before joining Symphony Services, David was Vice President of Sales for Covansys, a global consulting and technology services company, where he managed the Commercial Business Development and Sales team for Covansys' East Region. He joined Covansys from ITWorx, Egypt's largest software development company. As Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing, David was hired by the CEO to establish the company's North American office. He has also held sales, marketing and engineering roles at Scient and French Fragrances International, and he spent 17 years with IBM Corporation. David holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Fairfield University.

As vice president of worldwide field operations at RightWorks, he grew sales from zero to $100 million in two years. Mr. Jurkowski has also held executive roles at Aurum Software, a division of the Baan Company; Dun & Bradstreet Software; Oracle Corp; Automatic Data Processing; and Caterpillar. Mr. Jurkowski holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of Chicago.

Douglas Levin, President and CEO of Black Duck Software, served as the CEO of MessageMachines (acquired by NMS Communications in 2002) and X-Collaboration Software Corporation (acquired by Progress Software in 2000) prior to Black Duck’s founding. From 1995 to 1999, he worked as an interim executive or consultant to CMGI Direct, IBM/Lotus Development Corporation, Oracle Software Corporation, Solbright Software, Mosaic Telecommunications, Bright Tiger Technologies, Best!Software and several other software companies. From 1987 to 1995, Doug held various senior management positions with Microsoft Corporation including heading up worldwide licensing for corporate purchases of non-OEM Microsoft software products. Doug is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a certificate in international economics from the College d'Europe in Bruges, Belgium.

As an enterprise client-server systems specialist working as an independent IT consultant in the financial, manufacturing and technology industries for nearly fifteen years, Jason recently joined UNISYS's Global Outsourcing and Infrastructure Services organization as Lead Technical Architect for their Open Source Solutions Practice. Jason is also founder of eGullet.org, the popular food and wine web portal, which is built entirely on Linux and Open Source software. He lives in Northern New Jersey.
Keith McGarr

Keith A. McGarr joined Reed Elsevier in July of 2000 as the Global Chief Technology Officer. He is responsible for all information technology activities of Reed Elsevier. He leads global product development with a focus on transitioning traditional print products to online by providing value added content and services. He is a member of the Reed Elsevier Ventures investment board and served on the board of directors of iPhrase from 2001 through 2003. Mr. McGarr was previously with FedEx and served in a number of roles in the Information Technology Division for 17 years. He led the development of the global Internet infrastructure and the on-line access of over 1.4 million FedEx customers. McGarr received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Memphis. He also holds a M.S. in Information Systems and Telecommunications, and a M.B.A. from Christian Brothers University.

Mr. Schneider came to B2eMarkets from Pittiglio Rabin Todd & McGrath (PRTM), where he worked with software and service clients to develop next-generation supply management solutions. Before joining PRTM, he spent six years with Ford Motor Company. Mr. Schneider earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA with specialization in Operations and Strategy from Carnegie Mellon University.

Most recently, Wander was a Practice Leader of a professional services firm named Business Edge Solutions. Prior to this position, he was COO of Group Intelligence, an internet-based technology company that built supply chains for technology acquisitions and online collaboration tools. Wander was formerly the CIO of Prudential Institutional, a $6 billion dollar division of Prudential Insurance. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Stony Brook University.
