I need to mail pieces of my entry; how do I do this and where is it mailed to?

Some categories require printed materials to be mailed to us. After you’ve completed the online portion of your entry, print a copy of the entry form for each item you will be sending us by mail. Each item should have a copy of the entry form attached to it.

For example, if a category requires two copies of three consecutive issues of a magazine, you should print an entry form for each piece (6 entry forms), and be sure it’s securely attached. Attach one entry form to each item and then attach the two sets together with an elastic band. This ensures if any pieces come apart in the mailing process we can accurately place entry forms back on each entry.

Mail the entries to: SIIA
Attn: AM&P Excel Awards
1090 Vermont Ave, NW, Sixth Floor
Washington, DC 20005

Entries submitted incorrectly may not be accepted for the competition. Please read the instructions carefully for each category to avoid errors.

How much of a time commitment is Virtual Judging?

Judge and entry matching are determined based on how many entries are received and how many judges sign up. In previous years, judges may receive more than 20 entries, depending on the categories they were assigned. You can expect to dedicate around 10 hours, but we give you almost 4 weeks to complete your judging, so it can split up based on your schedule. These numbers are subject to changed based on entries submitted and confirmed judges.

How much of a time commitment is In-Person Judging?

Judge and entry matching are determined based on how many entries are received and how many judges sign up. In previous years, judges receive more than 20 entries, depending on the categories they were assigned. You can expect to dedicate an entire workday to onsite judging.
