New Standards in Client Onboarding and KYC

Industry members are now making the shift from in-house entity identifiers to the Global Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) standard.  Participants discuss the challenges and opportunities that a global LEI presents, the obstacles to implementing emerging regulatory ‘mandates’ related to Know Your Customer and client on-boarding processes, and the impact of these regulations on both the firms and their customers.

Members discuss the current status of the market data audit process. Representing different constituencies, the participants discuss the purposes, processes and consequences of the status quo as well as propose suggested changes for improvement.

Insight from the trading desk.  Focus will be on the intra-firm relationships between portfolio managers, traders and others like procurement personnel, as well as the theory and practice of ‘best execution’.   Commentary and opinion on low latency, data quality, liquidity, the impact of regulation and marketplace preference will be provided.
