Report from the Consumer Reference Data Group

The CRDG is releasing recommendations focused on redistribution of reference data by financial service providers or asset servicing institution to their clients.  The recommendations address the need for clear and concise guidelines in this area. The proposed commercial model is based on the value of the data elements at the field or field group level.

LEI: What Happened?; What's Next

The Legal Entity Identifier project is a global effort to have a unique ID assigned to a single corporate entity. This session will provide insight on many aspects of this endeavor including its genesis, components, benefits, and impact. Particular focus will be placed on the upcoming implementation timelines and, most importantly, the obligations and responsibilities created by LEI for participants in the financial information industry.

Financial Market Data/News Demand, 2012 - 2013

Burton-Taylor International Consulting LLC surveyed 84 global market data or news vendor executives, users and consultants, asking them to forecast 2012 and 2013 organic growth in spend by individual market data user segments, by individual regions and for individual product types. The results show a clear "demand compass" for users (from hedge funds to risk managers), for regions (from West to East) and for products (from desktops to datafeeds).
