David Anderson is a well know market data consultant on both sides of the Atlantic. He has worked in the market data industry since 1984 - including roles with Telerate, Bishopsgate Systems and he spent nearly 13 years with Reuters culminating in various global marketing roles; predominantly working on market data systems (e.g. Triarch and RMDS). Since 2002 David has been operating Atradia (www.atradia.com), a management consultancy practice focused on the market data industry. He has been quoted commenting on the market data industry in major publications such as the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the International Herald Tribune, Business Week and many others. David speaks on the subject of market data at conferences and has moderated a wide variety of industry panel sessions. He edited the respected annual ‘IMD Reference’ book between 2003 and 2009 and most recently he has been very closely involved with the new SIIA/FISD initiative to create a professional certification program for market and reference data practitioners. David also acts as a Program Director for a variety of other FISD activities.

Global Head of Desktop/Mobile Platform, Thomson Reuters

Philip Brittan is Global Head of Desktop/Mobile platform at Thomson Reuters. He is responsible for the product development and strategy of Eikon, the Company’s flagship financial markets desktop.

Brittan joined Thomson Reuters in 2011, having previously been global head of Google Finance. Prior to that, he headed Bloomberg’s foreign exchange and economics businesses for six years.

Brittan has a strong entrepreneurial history, having founded and managed several successful software development companies including Spheresoft Inc. in 1995, and Droplets Inc. in 2000, a venture-capital-backed firm which pioneered a Rich Internet Application technology used by leading corporations and government agencies.

Brittan started his career in Product Development at financial software firm Astrogamma, rising to become the company’s CEO in 1993. He was instrumental in the development of Fenics, which became the benchmark application for currency option pricing and risk management at the time.

Brittan has registered five technology patents in his name for matters as diverse as the construction of currency strength indices and a system and method for delivering a graphical user interface of remote applications over a thin bandwidth connection. Philip is a certified Financial Risk Manager, has authored numerous articles on a variety of subjects at the intersection of technology and business, and has spoken at industry events on subjects ranging from technology trends to systematic trading strategies to patterns in the macro economy.

Brittan holds an A.B. in Computer Science from Harvard University and grew up on a ranch in Montana. Brittan enjoys sailing, skiing, climbing, and composing music

Mr. Buzzelli is Executive Director and Head of Enterprise Data Management, Americas, for Nomura’s broker dealer operations. He has primary responsibility for new accounts, market and product reference data management for Nomura’s U.S. operations. He is globally responsible for strategic reference and product data, as well as market data commercial vendor management. With more than 18 years of leadership experience in prior roles including Vice President, Americas Head for Thomson Reuters Enterprise Pricing and Reference Data business stewarding approximately $100M+ per annum in revenue. Previously, Mr. Buzzelli held strategic roles as Business Architect for Mellon’s Global Asset Services aligning strategic investments in Mellon’s business operations and technology architecture as well as Cross-Segment Product Manager responsible for Mellon’s Global Asset Servicing Outsourcing Solutions that included trade communications, client statements, client billing, performance measurement, and managed reference data services. He began his financial career at Federated Investors and is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Decision Systems and holds two Master degrees; Management of Information Systems and MBA in Finance from the Katz Business School at the University of Pittsburgh.

In 1997, Cromwell led a group of investors to acquire OTC Markets Group’s predecessor business, the National Quotation Bureau (NQB), transforming an opaque and inefficient phone-based market into technology-driven, Open, Transparent and Connected financial marketplaces. Today, OTC Markets Group (OTCQX: OTCM) operates the OTCQX®, OTCQB® and OTC Pink® marketplaces for 10,000 U.S. and global securities. OTC Link® ATS, OTC Markets Group’s SEC registered Alternative Trading System, directly links a diverse network of leading U.S. broker-dealers that provide liquidity and execution services for these securities. OTC Markets Group has vastly increased the amount and quality of information available for investors and improved the efficiency of trading.

Prior to the acquisition of NQB, Cromwell was an institutional trader and portfolio manager specializing in distressed and value-oriented investments at Carr Securities Corporation, an institutional broker-dealer. He received a BBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and graduated from the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School. Cromwell has testified in front of Congress and regularly speaks on industry roundtables regarding capital access and market structure issues.

Tom Davin is Managing Director, Financial Information Services Division (FISD) for the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). FISD is the global, neutral forum for the financial information industry with a diverse membership that includes major market data vendors, exchanges, technology providers, and the financial institutions that utilize financial data products. Tom works closely with FISD members to identify major issues and seek opportunities to bring the financial information industry together to discuss and resolve those issues. FISD conducts regular membership events in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia and hosts the biennial World Financial Information Conference – the premiere global industry conference for financial information professionals.

Marie Giangrande provides thought leadership marketing and product adoption programs for companies in the capital markets sector. Most recently she designed a Financial Advisor App for the iPad, launched a new Big Data company and positioned deterministic, FPGA technologies for Market Data. Previously, Marie led the “Naked Access Campaign” resulting in 15-c35 regulations and the acquisition of FTEN. Earlier work included the formation of a white label, third party resale model for Thomson Reuters. While at Instinet, Marie laid the economic ground work for the merger with Island. Previously, she ran product and marketing groups at Edgar OnLine and Hewlett Packard. She began her career as global product manager for trading desktops and standardized the DDE specification with Microsoft. Around that time, she also introduced the Reuters Market Data Platform and spearheaded the first real-time market data API in the capital markets industry. Currently, Marie is a retained consultant, designing programs to unleash company assets and to spur executive dialogue, fostering innovation in the industry.

Marie earned an MBA from Columbia University and a BS from Boston University with a certificate in Strategic Planning from Stanford University.

Craig J. Mohan has served as Managing Director,
Co-Location and Data Center Services of CME
Group since May 2010. He is responsible for
the strategic development, management and
overall execution of the company’s co-location
and data center hosting business, including
sales, product development and client services.
Prior to joining CME Group, Mohan most
recently served as Director, Global Infrastructure
at Citadel Investment Group, where he was
responsible for managing the firm’s networking,
technical architecture and global operations.
His background also includes technology
and operations management positions with
ShopperTrak RCT, Accenture and Blue Meteor
Inc. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical

Daniel (Dan) Parke is the Managing Director of Agência Estado (AE) based in São Paulo, Brazil. AE is Latin America’s largest real-time news agency providing 15,000+ AE Broadcast terminals to finance professionals.

Dan is the AE business unit head reporting to The Estado de São Paulo Media Group’s CEO.

The Estado de São Paulo Media Group is one of Brazil’s largest on-line & print media companies publishing the largest Brazilian daily broadsheet newspaper, Estadão.

Dan manages sales, marketing, service, development, I.T., product and P&L for AE and is responsible for BRL$170 million in revenue. He is AE’s authorized agent and a member of Estado’s Executive Committee.

Prior to running AE, Dan was the Managing Director for Thomson Financial Latin America from 2004-2008. Before joining Thomson, Dan worked at Bloomberg for 13 years where he was responsible for initiating and running Bloomberg’s Latin American business.

Barry S. Raskin is Managing Director of the American subsidiary of Zurich-based SIX Financial Information, a premier supplier of global securities pricing, descriptive and corporate actions information on securities traded around the world. Barry helped establish SIX in the US in 1987, serving as CFO and Secretary prior to his promotion to Managing Director in 1995. Under his stewardship, SIX has focused on customers’ needs and improved data accessibility, resulting in significantly increased market penetration, revenue and profitability, as well as enhanced reputation for quality, reliability, and comprehensive global coverage. During his tenure, SIX Financial Information has answered the needs of the American markets and enhanced its position by developing products geared for local requirements. Among the many examples are low latency real-time data feed solutions, multiple formats for the company’s award winning global corporate actions and reference data and historical tick-by-tick data for best execution and/or algo trading. Like many of his fellow SIX executives around the world, Barry is an active participant in industry forums and conferences, and is often called upon to speak on topics ranging from reference data to securities pricing to improvements in market data operations. Born and raised in New York, Barry earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell, and an M.B.A. with honors from SUNY at Buffalo. He resides in Connecticut.

Nancy Selph is an Executive Director and the Chief Operating Officer for Group CTO at UBS. In this role, she is responsible for risk, business management, knowledge management, communications and the overall support of the CTOs for each of the businesses. Nancy is also the CTO Regional Manager for the Americas.
Previously, Nancy was the Head of Product Management for Enterprise Platform at Thomson Reuters leading a team that helped define the strategic direction of the data distribution platform and direct data feeds. Nancy was also the Global Manager for Market Data Operations at Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch, and has held various leadership positions at Teknekron Software Systems, Tibco Financial, Sun Microsystems, Bear Sterns and Quote.com.

Glenn Wasserman is SVP, Global Head of Product Management, Trading Solutions at Interactive Data and has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years in technology, product management, and business management roles. Glenn joined Interactive Data from NYSE Technologies where, as SVP/Global Head of Market Data Solutions, he was responsible for their SuperFeed and related data vendor businesses. Prior to NYSE Tech, he worked at Reuters and Thomson Reuters in many business and technology roles culminating as CTO of their Enterprise Division. His experience covers both real-time and end-of-day market data, and includes in-depth knowledge of real-time consolidated feeds, ultra-low latency direct feeds, news, tick history, contributed data, market data platforms such as RMDS and Wombat, on-demand and end-of day-pricing and reference data products, proximity co-location hosting services, and market data compliance.

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, is a financial services industry veteran with more than 14 years in institutional equity trading. Most recently Mr. Yuster was a Managing Director and Global Head of Merrill Lynch's Portfolio and Electronic Trading, where he oversaw the business from inception in 2002. He was responsible for sales, trading, risk, service, product development and quantitative analytics for these products worldwide. His trading products reached over 85 global equity markets and were used by institutional clients, hedge funds, broker dealers and retail clients as well as Merrill Lynch’s internal trading desks. His team built electronic and quantitative trading strategies and provided consulting to clients on execution, transaction cost analysis, trading technology and market structure. Mr. Yuster was on the equity management committee responsible for strategic investments and partnerships and held several Director and Advisory roles for portfolio companies and industry committees (including a member of the NSX Board of Directors, OES Marketgroup Board of Directors, FTEN Advisory Board, the NYSE electronic trading committee (ELTAC), and a NYSE seat in his name representing Merrill Lynch).

Mr. Yuster has extensive experience starting trading businesses. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Yuster led the quantitative and automated trading efforts in the portfolio trading group at Schwab Capital Markets where he joined from a Schwab-led start-up investment bank, Epoch Partners, which was sold to Goldman Sachs in 2001. Mr. Yuster has held positions in quantitative research and program trading at Bank of America Securities and Deutsche Bank Securities, both start-up trading desks.

Jarrod Yuster received his M.S. in electrical engineering from Columbia University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from Yale University. Prior to working on Wall Street, Mr. Yuster worked as a product engineer, performing semiconductor research at Intel Corporation.
