David Anderson, FIA Program Director, FISD/Atradia
David Anderson is a well know market data consultant on both sides of the Atlantic. He has worked in the market data industry since 1984 - including roles with Telerate, Bishopsgate Systems and he spent nearly 13 years with Reuters culminating in various global marketing roles; predominantly working on market data systems (e.g. Triarch and RMDS). Since 2002 David has been operating Atradia (www.atradia.com), a management consultancy practice focused on the market data industry. He has been quoted commenting on the market data industry in major publications such as the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the International Herald Tribune, Business Week and many others. David speaks on the subject of market data at conferences and has moderated a wide variety of industry panel sessions. He edited the respected annual ‘IMD Reference’ book between 2003 and 2009 and most recently he has been very closely involved with the new SIIA/FISD initiative to create a professional certification program for market and reference data practitioners. David also acts as a Program Director for a variety of other FISD activities. |

Hany Choueiri Global Head Entity Data Quality, HSBC
With over 20 years of experience in data, Hany Choueiri joined HSBC in 2009 and is currently the Global Head of Entity Data Quality. Prior to HSBC, Hany worked at Deutsche Bank, Clerical Medical and Ernst & Young where he managed a number of key client data, business intelligence and cash management initiatives. Having been instrumental in pioneering one of the first Data Warehouses, Hany's career has been centered around data and its management. His passion for data is complemented by expertise in the use of process improvement, project & programme management methods such as Six-Sigma and PRINCE2 and their combined application to data quality projects. With the recent increase in regulatory reform, Hany also has a keen interest in the development of effective programme management frameworks which enhance a firm's ability to deliver on complex regulatory initiatives. |

Tom Davin, FIA Managing Director, FISD
Tom Davin is Managing Director, Financial Information Services Division (FISD) for the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). FISD is the global, neutral forum for the financial information industry with a diverse membership that includes major market data vendors, exchanges, technology providers, and the financial institutions that utilize financial data products. Tom works closely with FISD members to identify major issues and seek opportunities to bring the financial information industry together to discuss and resolve those issues. FISD conducts regular membership events in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia and hosts the biennial World Financial Information Conference – the premiere global industry conference for financial information professionals. |

Colin Gibson Head of Data Architecture, RBS
Following an initial career in the defence sector, Colin has held senior infrastructure management and software development positions in several investment banks. He joined RBS in 2006 and led several initiatives to address key data and architecture challenges facing M&IB. These included a programme to develop and implement a consolidated, authoritative store of all transactions.
As Head of Data Architecture, Colin works across M&IB to drive progress towards an agreed target state for how data is understood, sourced, stored and shared. He has led the work to create, populate and leverage the “Data KnowledgeBase” - a central repository of information about M&IB’s data.
