Kevin Carrai Head of Member and Connectivity Services, Direct Edge
Kevin Carrai serves as head of connectivity and member services for Direct Edge, one of the leading stock exchange operators in the United States and globally. Kevin manages all aspects of connectivity to the Direct Edge exchanges including direct connectivity, extranet, and Connect Edge, Direct Edge’s premier market and data access network.
Prior to joining Direct Edge, Kevin was the head of Access Services at Nasdaq OMX and was responsible for Nasdaq’s equity and options connectivity business including the management of Nasdaq’s co-location business.

Gaston Ceron Equity Analyst, Morningstar
Gaston F. Ceron is an equity analyst for Morningstar, covering brokers, exchanges, banks and other financial services companies. Before joining Morningstar in 2011, he attended business school. Prior to that, he spent several years as a financial journalist for Dow Jones Newswires.
Mr. Ceron holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Georgetown University.

Tom Davin, FIA Managing Director, FISD
Tom Davin is Managing Director, Financial Information Services Division (FISD) for the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). FISD is the global, neutral forum for the financial information industry with a diverse membership that includes major market data vendors, exchanges, technology providers, and the financial institutions that utilize financial data products. Tom works closely with FISD members to identify major issues and seek opportunities to bring the financial information industry together to discuss and resolve those issues. FISD conducts regular membership events in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia and hosts the biennial World Financial Information Conference – the premiere global industry conference for financial information professionals. |

Patrick Fay Director, Listed Derivatives, Russell Investments
Patrick Fay joined Russell Indexes in 2013 to lead its listed derivatives business. This includes supporting strategic partners and relationships for Russell Index-based options and futures in the U.S. as well as growing the trading volume of existing Russell Index-based futures and options products and creating new products and programs. Patrick has had a long career in the derivatives industry, starting in 1982 with the Board of Trade Clearing Corp. He moved to the CBOE in 1984, where he spent most of the next 28 years. He has held senior management positions in Trading Operations, Business Development, Futures and Strategic Planning. Patrick holds a BS, Computer Management, from Eastern Illinois University and an MBA, Economics, from DePaul University. |

Thomas Knorring VP, Market Operations, CBOE
Tom Knorring joined the CBOE in 1976 and is currently Vice President of Business Development. His primary area of responsibility is the management and distribution of CBOE’s Market Data. He is CBOE’s Market Data representative on the securities side for options (OPRA) and stock (UTP &CTA). He is the Chairman of both UTP and CTA. He handles the Sales and Administration of CBOE’s Market Data including CFE. Working with Schiff Hardin, he created CFE’s Market Data contracts and launched CFE’s Market Data Service in 2004. He holds a BS degree in Mathematics from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. |

Tom McCabe Chief Operating Officer, OneChicago LLC
Thomas G. McCabe has been the Chief Operating Officer of OneChicago since early 2008, leading the exchange’s operations including strategic initiatives, customer/vendor relations, and trading systems.
Before joining OneChicago, Mr. McCabe played a crucial role within the clearing firm community in leading the Chicago Board of Trade’s clearing business’ move to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Clearing House. The Common Clearing Link initiative saved approximately $1.8 billion in overnight margin due to inter-product spread credits for participating firms. Mr. McCabe was named Vice President of CBOT’s Trading Operations in 2005, to take charge of global operations with a focus on creating a positive customer experience and increasing straight-through processing of electronic and floor-executed trades. He was also responsible for the business aspects of the exchange’s trading technologies and the quality assurance function.
Mr. McCabe spent more than 20 years at CBOT, starting in the regulatory division in 1985, where he oversaw the Trade Practice Investigation Department. Subsequently, Mr. McCabe moved to the operations side of the exchange in 1998 to oversee the implementation of trading floor order routing systems.
Mr. McCabe is a graduate of Creighton University and lives in Chicago with his wife and two children.

Joe Nardulli Vice President, Product Manager, Investment Risk and Analytical Services, Northern Trust
Joe is responsible for overseeing the index data operations for the custody business and navigating commercial policies and contract negotiations. His current focus is on strategic education initiatives around the use of index data and client engagement. Joe has been with the Northern Trust Company for over 15 years and previously worked in accounting operations for ERISA clients and product development for the Investment Risk & Analytical Services group. Joe holds a B.A. in Economics from Northern Illinois University. |
