Douglas B Taylor is founder and Managing Partner of Burton-Taylor International Consulting LLC, a business consulting organization created in 2006 and focused on helping information, news, software and financial services companies improve performance.
Mr. Taylor entered the information & news space at Reuters in 1987, where he spent 15 years in North America, South America and Europe, the last 5 of which heading Reuters news marketing and product management globally.
After leaving Reuters, and before founding Burton-Taylor, Mr. Taylor headed the marketing and product development divisions, as well as the Investment Management, Investment Banking & Research, Institutional Equities and Wealth Management business units for Thomson Financial in Asia. Stanley Young is the chief executive officer of Bloomberg’s Enterprise Products and Solutions (EPS) business, which helps companies access, analyze and distribute market data and enterprise information throughout a global organization. Bloomberg EPS offers a range of managed enterprise solutions for financial services firms globally, including a consolidated data feed, data management platforms and a best-of-breed enterprise data management (EDM) offering. Based in New York, Mr. Young is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day aspects of the Bloomberg EPS business.
Mr. Young brings to Bloomberg more than 20 years of experience in financial technology and data management. Prior to joining Bloomberg in May 2012, he was CEO of New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Technologies, a division of the NYSE that offers financial transaction data and infrastructure services to the financial community. Previously, Mr. Young held several positions at Hewlett-Packard, most notably, as the worldwide director of financial markets technology. He also held leadership positions at Capco, Accenture and Anderson Consulting. Mr. Young began his career at the London Stock Exchange (LSE) in 1987.
Mr. Young has a bachelor's of science degree with honors in applied sciences from Shrivenham University in Swindon, England. He has also served as an officer in the Royal Corps of Signals in the British Army.
