David Anderson is a well know market data consultant on both sides of the Atlantic. He has worked in the market data industry since 1984 - including roles with Telerate, Bishopsgate Systems and he spent nearly 13 years with Reuters culminating in various global marketing roles; predominantly working on market data systems (e.g. Triarch and RMDS). Since 2002 David has been operating Atradia (www.atradia.com), a management consultancy practice focused on the market data industry. He has been quoted commenting on the market data industry in major publications such as the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the International Herald Tribune, Business Week and many others. David speaks on the subject of market data at conferences and has moderated a wide variety of industry panel sessions. He edited the respected annual ‘IMD Reference’ book between 2003 and 2009 and most recently he has been very closely involved with the new SIIA/FISD initiative to create a professional certification program for market and reference data practitioners. David also acts as a Program Director for a variety of other FISD activities.

Sue leads the centralisation of all external vendor related activity across JP Morgan Worldwide Securities Services (WSS) for Market Data. Her responsibilities include evaluating external market data vendor services and driving a value curve model for delivery of their services in line with Industry best practise. She was previously Head T&O for ICICI Bank and headed Operational Risk & Controls for the EMEA region at JP Morgan for the Investment Bank. Prior to that was Chief Administration Officer & Head of EMEA Vendor Management for JP Morgan Asset Management. 25 year + financial service industry experience.

Bob is European business lines director, Pricing and Reference Data, Interactive Data. In this role, Bob focuses on executing product development plans, product reliability, product infrastructure, future business opportunities and the product development process. Bob Cumberbatch joined Interactive Data in June 1998 as production director to run the company's IT operations. He was responsible for the mission critical IT infrastructure with a 24 x 7 data centre, a 24 x 6 help desk, technical support group, network support and project planning. From January 2003, Bob led an international real-time integration programme aimed at integrating the then newly-acquired ComStock's infrastructure into that of Interactive Data. Bob also led Interactive Data's cross-organisation MiFID project team. Prior to his work at Interactive Data, Bob worked for Telerate / Dow Jones Markets for 10 years where he helped to establish an exchange-traded securities service more commonly known as TIQ. Bob held senior management positions as IT strategic planning and IT operations manager for the EMEA region. He has also worked for Mercury Communications (Cable & Wireless) and British Telecom.Bob has an MSc in Networked Information Engineering.

Tom Davin is Managing Director, Financial Information Services Division (FISD) for the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). FISD is the global, neutral forum for the financial information industry with a diverse membership that includes major market data vendors, exchanges, technology providers, and the financial institutions that utilize financial data products. Tom works closely with FISD members to identify major issues and seek opportunities to bring the financial information industry together to discuss and resolve those issues. FISD conducts regular membership events in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia and hosts the biennial World Financial Information Conference – the premiere global industry conference for financial information professionals.

Based in Russell’s London office, she is responsible for educating asset owners and consultants about Russell’s family of global equity indexes to use for benchmarking and serving as the basis of investable strategies.

Chris joined HSBC Securities Services in August 2006 and is the Head of Product Management, Market Data Services. Chris was previously at Threadneedle Investments where he was Head of Investment Information Services. Before then he was a Director at UBS managing the business content aspects of their data management programme. Chris started work in the city with Laurie, Milbank stockbrokers, in their futures and options operations team, continuing with Chase Manhattan for a further ten years, culminating in three years as head of the equity derivatives middle office. He was also manager of OTC derivative client valuations at Bankers Trust. Chris is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment

Darren Marsh is European business manager, Risk Management and Compliance Services, Interactive Data. He is responsible for identifying and developing services that are designed to meet Interactive Data's clients’ needs for regulatory compliance and risk management. He also led the implementation of a Business Entity Service, which can help clients to obtain a more complete picture of the corporate hierarchy of an entity in order to understand its capital structure and global exposure, as well as perform pre- and post-trade technical analysis. Darren joined Interactive Data over ten years ago as a product marketing manager for the company’s reference data services. Prior to joining the company, he has worked as a product manager for a range of data vendors and in back office operations on the client side.

Laurent Martinet has been with Bloomberg LP since 2000. He currently manages the European Client and Regulator Relationships team for DataSolution. Previously Laurent Martinet started his career at Bloomberg as DataSpecialist in Funds from 2000 to 2003. Then He became Sales Account Managers with responsibilities over DataLicense and Managed Bpipe for UK Buyside and Luxembourg from 2004 to 2009, moved as UK Buyside Manager in 2009 and in 2010 managed France, Luxembourg and Spain DataSolution Sales team.

Andrew has over 25 years experience in the market data industry, having worked and managed consulting projects across the industry, from vendors and large sell-side banks to smaller technology firms and retail on-line trading shops.
Whilst at Arcontech he conceived and brought to market the CityVision real-time market data platform which is now deployed world-wide in mission critical applications from central banking and national treasury through to investment banking, broking and derivatives trading.
Andrew is an active participant in industry working groups and a vocal advocate of internetworking communities, cross-platform integration and vendor independent technologies to facilitate choice, reduce costs and increase quality of real-time market data and systems.

Company founder and Publisher of IndexUniverse.com, the Exchange-Traded Funds Report (ETFR) and the Journal of Indexes (JoI). Jim also oversees the ETF Analytics group of Index Publications LLC.

In addition to overseeing the transition of JoI from a Dow Jones Indexes publication to an independent publication with support from across the index industry, Jim also oversaw the purchase of ETFR in 2003. Jim subsequently joined forces with Steven Schoenfeld to work on Schoenfeld’s landmark Wiley Finance book Active Index Investing, the two developed IndexUniverse.com into a broadly focused, independent website.

Previously, Jim was publisher of IndexFunds.com and is the author of Exchange Traded Funds, a book that was published by John Wiley & Sons. , Jim has also served as an editor and writer for Compton's Encyclopedia, and worked as a contract journalist in West Africa, after serving in the Peace Corps in Niger. He is a 1991 graduate of Tufts University.
