The Financial Information Associate
certification is aimed at candidates who are either relatively new to their
careers in this industry (one to three years experience) or who are not
directly involved in this sector but who want to gain a better understanding
of it. However, this is only guidance and it may be that candidates with
more extensive experience may wish to test themselves not least because no
such certification existed when you were in the early stages of your career.
Similarly if you as candidate have either not started or only just started
in this sector then if you study hard enough and solicit advice from
experienced practitioners there is no reason why you could not stretch
yourself and take the test.
