April 23 - acquired FireRecruit.com and will be incorporating it into the FireRescue1.com Network of news and information websites.

Reportlinker  A professional search engine that finds all market research reports published by thousands of private and public organizations (governments, embassies, statistics agencies, trade unions, private firms, etc.).  Sept 13 – launched a new market research report that includes 10 semiconductor market studies from the top 10 countries around the world.

VisibleGains   VisibleGains provides software, coaching, and best practices that simplify the creation and use of video by business in support of attracting and retaining customers.  VisibleGains launched the "Postwire" product in April 2012, Postwire enables users to make a private webpage for each clients where they can collect videos, photos, web links, and documents and share them on each clients’ private page.

Brand Thunder An easy-to-install browser add-on, end users transform their drab web-browser into an immersive experience.   

In 2012 - Brander Thunder teamed with SIDEARM Sports, Google Chrome, Firefox, Twitter, and Internet Explorer, and the MLB to create interactive browser themes. Brand Thunder also acquired BrowserNation.

DeepDyve  DeepDyve is the largest online rental service for scientific, technical and medical research with over 30 million articles from thousands of authoritative journals.    

In 2012 DeepDyve expanded its service to include PDF downloads. DeepDyve Closed 2010 with adding over 2 million articles to its rental services. Publishers included: American Institute of Physics, American Physical Society, Association for Computing Machinery, Emerald Group Publishing Limited, Nature Publishing Group, University of California Press, Walter de Gruyter, Wiley-Blackwell, and Springer.

HaraBara HaraBara™ is the global information gateway for companies that are turning green challenges into business opportunities.   in 2012 HaraBara expanded the product line to include: Green Data Management, HaraBara Consulting, and eLearning for Cleantech.
HearPlanet  HearPlanet turns your cell phone into a multimedia guide to the world. Our platform enables aggregation and creation of media and delivers it to mobile phones. HearPlanet is currently working on a tour guide for automobiles and has been listed as one of the top travel apps.
NetProspex  NetProspex has built a database of crowd-sourced business contacts, overlaid with a central authority technology system to determine and maintain quality. In 2012 NetProspex was named an "Innovative Sales and Marketing Technology of the Year" finalist with Mass TLC; partnered with AG Salesworks to drive high qualiy leads for B2B organizations. They also won several SIIA CODiE award categories.
ORLive  ORLive is an online medical and surgical broadcaster. ORLive.com portal is the third most recognized online destination among physicians and the world’s best-known brand for surgical broadcasting.
Parse.ly  Parse.ly is a service and a platform for personalized content recommendations.  Since 2010, P3 has driven millions of clickthroughs for the web's finest online properties. Parse.ly has launched Dash in March 2011, and it now tracks over 500 million pageviews a month and is growing rapidly.
Snac Inc.   A mobile software and services company that helps companies connect more frequently, quickly and effectively with their mobile consumers.

2012 - Arity launches Semantic Studio a semantic search engine that mines the meaning from resources by using lexicons, ontologies, natural language processing, and context cues.

2012 -Arity launched EXPRESSway™ is a Knowledge Cloud Web application that accelerates your information gathering, reasoning, and learning as you research topics.

Associated Content Associated Content is an open content network that enables anyone to publish any type of content on any subject and makes that content available to consumers on the web.  5/19/10 bought by Yahoo for $100 million and is now called yahoo! Voices.
Cell Journalist Cell Journalist provides a turnkey solution that enables news organization to connect with their audience around citizen journalism.  In 2012 Cell Journalist partnered with WSI to provide new tool for TruVu Max and WeatherActive Suite.
InsideView InsideView is a pioneer in on-demand Sales 2.0 applications, combining social Web technologies and intelligence living across the Web with strong CRM mash-ups to arm sales teams with the insights needed to discover profitable leads and close opportunities.  

In 2012 Inside View partnered with Equifax on single source data solution; and appointed Jim Lightsey to CFO.

MixedInk MixedInk is a web-based tool that allows massive groups to brainstorm and combine their best ideas into a single text.   Launched MixedInk for Educators in 2010

SBTV.com SBTV.com is the first and only video news and information destination site for America's small businesses  SBTV.com now operates under the title: It's Your Biz
