We are the principal trade association for the software and information industry. Our mission is to promote, protect, and educate member organizations to help them achieve their business objectives. As a member-driven organization, we are driven by needs of our members and the industry. One of the benefits of membership is that all member employees have access to SIIA resources and programming across the entire association including:
- Market Leading-Government Affairs Programs, which follows issues of importance to and advocates for the software and information industry.
- Market-Leading Anti-Piracy Services, which is a robust anti-piracy program through which we seek damages unlicensed users on behalf of our members.

SIIA Content Division
The SIIA Content Division produces IIS (the Information Industry Summit) with help, guidance, and inspiration from Content Division member executives.
The SIIA Content Division serves the media, publishing, information services and technology companies that drive the content industry. The division is dedicated to helping its members successfully navigate the dramatic changes in content creation, business models and technology impacting the content industry. Our member companies create, publish and deliver content across all online, mobile and digital platforms; produce content-focused software applications and tools; develop enabling technologies; and offer services focused on the content industry.
