FISD, FIX Protocol, ISITC Europe and TWIST have decided to reconvene their MiFID Joint Working Group for an initial meeting to review the key business and IT-related issues that they expect to challenge the financial markets sector as a result of EU regulatory reviews and consultations of financial markets in the post-MiFID era. Trading and achieving best execution, real-time market data, reference data, standards and protocols – all of which have been impacted by MiFID - are all items on the business and IT agendas of financial institutions today, and these areas will be reviewed as part of this reunion meeting.
