The FISD Women's Group was formed to provide members with a unique opportunity to network in a relaxed atmosphere. The informal structure of the event allows for maximum interaction.

Debra A. Dandeneau: Debra A. Dandeneau - high-powered lawyer with Weil, Gotshal & Manges and her practice focuses on all aspects of dealing with distressed (or potentially distressed) companies, including debt trading and protecting intellectual property rights.. Debra will share behind the scenes stories on her experiences dealing with these very current and hair-raising topics as well as discuss ideas on how women can better position themselves to move ahead within their organization.

clarehClare Hart: Executive Vice President, Dow Jones & Company, and president, Dow Jones Enterprise Media Group. She is responsible for the Company's media portfolio serving the corporate, media, financial services and government markets. The unit is comprised of Dow Jones Content Technology Solutions (including Dow Jones Client Solutions, Dow Jones Newswires, and Factiva), Dow Jones Financial Information Services, and Dow Jones Indexes, as well as the Company's enterprise-facing joint venture, STOXX.

vtVenetia Thompson: Author of "Gross Misconduct", one the few female inter-dealer bond brokers, tells all in this behind the scene view of the male dominated industry. Venetia Thompson is a regular contributor to The Spectator, The Daily Beast and broadsheet newspapers.

Adena Friedman: Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Global Data Products, NASDAQ OMX. Friedman’s responsibilities include identifying and developing strategic opportunities for NASDAQ OMX and overseeing its Global Data Products business unit. In her role as head of Global Data Products, Friedman is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all market data disseminated to the public, as well as creating new data products to serve the industry’s information needs. Friedman joined NASDAQ in 1993, where she has served in several roles, including as Senior Vice President and Executive Vice President of NASDAQ Data Products prior to her current role.


amyhAmy G. Harkins:
Managing Director and Senior Vice President at The Bank of New York Mellon. Her direct responsibilities are for Global Corporate Event Operations Worldwide, including corporate actions, class actions, and proxy processing for the combined entity. In addition to her operational responsibilities, Ms. Harkins is involved in the Market Data Committee at The Bank of New York Mellon.
