This panel session explores the importance of collaboration between index sponsors and indexed product issuers and how the two work together on idea generation, education, and distribution given the fast growing number of ETFs and index-linked products and the increasing demand for new index ideas. The panel will discuss several issues including indexing strategies, the factors that influence decisions on new creations, and the differences among the major participants in this arena.
