Certified Software Manager (CSM) Course

Certified Software Manager

Managing information technology is no easy task. You have to comply with software licenses for multiple users, maximize legal use of software, and oversee huge asset inventories. That's why the anti-piracy department of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) formerly known as the Software Publishers Association (SPA) developed the Certified Software Manager (CSM) Seminar.

The SIIA Certified Software Manager gives you the skills and credentials you need to diagnose, resolve and manage today's complicated software licensing issues. And, this course prepares you to take and pass the exam that earns you the widely-recognized Certified Software Manager professional designation.

Developed by the SIIA, the CSM Seminar is the only program that addresses the specific needs of software managers, technical support specialists, purchasing agents and value added resellers who must ensure their organizations are software compliant.

Note: As the CSM seminar is open to the public, we occasionally have vendors in attendance. Any concerns regarding that possibility should be directed to the CSM seminar instructor before the seminar date.

Certified Content Rights Manager

From negotiating contracts and purchasing content, to disseminating it lawfully within an organization, managing content licenses can be a daunting task. That's why SIIA has developed the Certified Content Rights Manager (CCRM) course.

The CCRM course is designed to explain the legal issues surrounding copyright law and how it pertains to licensing, disseminating, and use of publications and related content throughout organizations of all sizes.
