Beyond the Storm A New Hybrid Cloud Future Emerges

Across the entire IT ecosystem, the storm called Cloud Computing is clearly gaining strength and helping to drive a fundamental rethinking of enterprise IT architectures, purchase decisions and deployment plans. Although adoption of software-as-a-service (SaaS) business solutions have led this trend, the Cloud now encompasses a much broader vision that many believe will eventually lead to highly interwoven on-premise / Cloud enterprises. Pricing Models

The pricing model is one of the most important & difficult choices a software company must make. Whichever metric is chosen - named users, transactions, etc. - will drive customer behavior such as software adoption and deployment. The frequency of adjustment will determine how quickly revenues can increase in a good market and how rapidly they decline in a recession.
