Christoph Behrendt is heading the SAP Business ByDesign Solution Management and the SME Strategic Solution Management with teams in EMEA, US and APJ.

He founded and led the SAP Business Unit for SME in 2002 building up a dedicated solution team and delivering solutions for Small and Midsize Enterprises: SAP Business One and SAP All-in-One.
Today Christoph and his team are leading the strategic direction and solution definition of SAP’s OnDemand suite for the midmarket ‘SAP Business ByDesign’ including conceptual design, user experience, solution partner strategy and field enablement.

Until 2002 he worked in the Management Board of SAP Germany responsible for Business Development, Presales and Marketing focusing on new solutions. Prior to that Christoph worked as Consulting Director and Consultant for SAP on a global basis.

After finishing his Industrial Engineering Studies in 1988, Christoph joined an IBM Channel partner specialized on Logistics Consulting and Development before joining SAP in 1991.

Christoph is 46 years old, has two children and lives with his family in Heidelberg.

Ezio has 19 years of IT experience as Enterprise, Technology and Solutions Architect, over 12 of which for Accenture. He specialises in IT strategy and in architecting and designing large, complex systems for some of the largest Accenture clients.

Ezio is based in Accenture’s European Technology Park in Sophia Antipolis, France but works across Europe, with several years of experience in the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. He has an M. Sc. in Computer Science and an MBA.

Simon Baker is the IBM Software Group leader for Cloud and is responsible for the Business Development of the IBM Cloud offerings from Software Group into the market through all channels. Simon has extensive background in Cloud and the Software business having been the Business Development Manager for Software as a Service for the last 4 years and in Software Group since its creation. During this time Simon has seen the evolution of the software market through observation of customer requirements into ever improving offerings of increasing value to clients. Cloud is another market stimulation of new customer need which IBM is very readily able to address.

Other roles in the last 25 years at IBM have included Product Management, Field Enablement and Software Development across the world, europe and in the UK.

Simon graduated from the University of Surrey with a BSc in Mathematics and Computing, has a Diploma in Strategic Market Management from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is a Project Management Professional.

He is married with 4 children aged 2 to 8 and lives near Winchester.

Jan Bastiaans, leads the NTRglobal EMEA Sales Team which is focused on selling NTR Cloud IT automation and remote support software-as-a-service (SaaS). As VP of Sales, EMEA, he joined the company with a successful 15 year track record of global sales and growth strategy at international technology and software- companies. Before joining NTRglobal, he founded Bryte, a company focused on bringing natural language to websites. Under his direction, Bryte became a strong partner and distributor of NTRglobal products at the company’s inception. His continuous collaboration and involvement with NTRglobal eventually brought him inside the company itself. He also served as director of Bit-IC, one of the largest Dutch technology enterprises, taking part in the first wave of Internet success in the Netherlands. In addition he was a vice president at Cap Gemini, where he created DareStep, a Web agency devoted to the creation of large Web portals with a strong focus on usability.

Wladimiro Bedin was born in 1950; is married, with two sons; and holds a doctorate degree from Padova University (Italy), performed research at KDD in Tokyo (Japan), and holds a MBA from CUOA Vicenza (Italy). After some direct experience in retail, Wladimiro founded BEDIN Shop Systems, the first Italian Microsoft Certified Partner, specializing in software for Retail. In 1989, the company released the first store-management system for Windows and, in 2002, the first .NET POS. In 2007 it released the first SaaS+SOA solution for Retail and recently the first POS and In-Store SaaS from a Cloud platform.

Roger Burkhardt serves as president and chief executive officer of Ingres. In this role he is responsible for all facets of the company's worldwide business. He also serves on the company's Board of Directors. As president and CEO, Roger is responsible for corporate strategy, development, engineering, and global field operations including marketing, sales and support, alliance and channels, and customer programs.

Prior to Ingres, Roger was the chief technology officer and executive vice president of the New York Stock Exchange, where he led a global technology team of 2,000 colleagues through the most important business and technology transformation in the Exchange's history: the shift to electronic trading. Under his leadership, the NYSE embraced open source solutions, maintained world-class reliability standards, and increased transaction volumes seven-fold.

He holds an MBA. in finance from New York University and both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physics from Oxford University. Tom Fisher

Tom Fisher is an expert in Cloud Computing and a recognized industry authority in Cloud-based business systems. As the former Chief Technology Officer at eBay, he helped to redesign and manage the delivery of the Web site after several massive outages was also responsible for establishing the firm’s technology strategy to support the massive scale and shifting business requirements. Tom was responsible for significant business development strategies at eBay including the creation and establishment of eBay’s Developers Program around the first release of the eBay API. Tom was formerly the CIO and Senior Vice President of Engineering for DriveCam the global leader in improving driver risk delivered as a Software as a Service. Tom was recognized as the San Diego Technology Executive of the Year in 2008 for his accomplishments at DriveCam. Tom collaborated on the development of a Cloud company designed to develop and deploy multi-tenant solutions for Enterprise customers across a number of Cloud providers.
Previously Tom was vice president of IT for QUALCOMM CDMA Technologies Group – the largest fabless semi-conductor in the world. Tom had worldwide responsibility for the business and engineering systems that support QUALCOMM’s semiconductor and global positioning businesses. He was also the former Chief Architect and Vice President of Global Architecture, Security and Vendor Management for Gateway Computers. At Gateway, he managed the firm’s major e-commerce initiatives, deployed the company’s financing, ERP, CRM, and SFA applications, and led the technical due diligence for the firm’s venture and strategic activities. In addition, he led Gateway’s IT outsourcing efforts.
He graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina.

Jim Fowler founded Jigsaw in 2003 and was CEO until it was acquired by Salesforce in 2010 for $142M. Jigsaw is best known for pioneering Crowdsourcing in the BtoB information industry and for creating the business category of Data-as-a-Service (DaaS). Prior to Jigsaw Jim served as Vice President of Sales at Digital Impact (DIGI), Paramark and TightLink. Jim also held sales management positions at Personify and NetGravity. Before his career in technology Jim was owner and operator of Lookout Pass, a ski resort in Idaho, and served in the US Navy as a Diving and Salvage Officer. Jim is a graduate of the University of Colorado.

After starting an auditing career in New York and Paris, Laurent Gasser spent 2 years in Africa (Benin) on a consulting assignment. In 1991, Laurent embarked on his Business development career by creating at the age of 26 the first Eastern European office of French auditing & consulting firms in Budapest. Laurent developed and managed the Eastern and Central European network of Mazars to the level of 4 offices and 110 people in 1996.

Following his experience in emerging markets, Laurent joined RSM International (RSMi), the seventh largest professional service accounting and consulting organization in the world, to develop and manage RSMi China business and create a network of Chinese member firms. Sharing his life between Beijing and Shanghai, Laurent was also at 35 the youngest elected Chairman of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, and has succeeded in a global reengineering of the French Chamber, opening 2 new offices in Shanghai & Guangzhou, and dramatically increasing membership and revenues. During his 3 years in China, Laurent acquired an in depth knowledge of the Chinese market and regulations, advising foreign companies in various business fields. He has also driven the launch of the first Sino-European accounting Joint Venture, Salustro ZhongRui.

Laurent moved to Brisbane Australia in 2002, to successfully create and develop the business www.personatests.com, an online Psychometric Assessment service.

In 2006, Laurent has returned to Paris France, to be CEO of Microcost and since 2007, founder and CEO of Revevol.

Revevol is the largest dedicated Google Apps Partner Worldwide.

Laurent is married with 2 children. He has been trained as a French CPA.

Chris Holland is SafeNet’s Vice President of Software Rights Management, responsible for product development and marketing activities for the business unit. He coordinates the business strategy evolving from changes in the market while enhancing the value the company brings to customers thorough new product developments, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Holland joined SafeNet in March 2004, after the acquisition of Rainbow Technologies, where he was Director of Product Management, Enterprise Division. In this role, he managed all aspects of product management, product marketing, and strategic direction, delivering high assurance security solutions to customers. During his tenure at Rainbow Technologies, he led the development of SSL remote access technologies.

Prior to joining Rainbow Technologies, Mr. Holland worked for Ericsson in product management, developing next generation phone technology for medium size enterprises. He developed network and security processors for a semiconductor company (Valence Semiconductor). Before moving to the United States in 1997, Mr. Holland worked in the UK for AST Europe, the computer systems division of AST.

Mr. McNee is the President and CEO of Saugatuck Technology, a subscription research and advisory firm focused on emerging industry trends and disruptive technologies driving change in enterprise IT. Over the past few years, Mr. McNee has helped spearhead the firm's research into evolving business models as a result of the shift to software-as-a-service (SaaS) and Cloud Computing. More recently, he has been actively involved in launching the firm’s new Cloud Leadership Strategies (CLS) research practice which targets the office of the CIO and senior business strategists.

Prior to founding Saugatuck in 1999, Mr. McNee spent eleven years with Gartner, Inc., most recently as Group Vice President and Research Fellow, responsible for guiding the firm's overall research strategy. A recognized expert in enterprise software and related business / IT services, Mr. McNee spent five years leading Gartner's Business / IT Management practice as its Director of Research, focusing on CIO governance, IT sourcing models and e-commerce management strategies. Prior to this role, he was a lead analyst focusing on enterprise business applications, and asset management strategies. Prior to Gartner, Mr. McNee held strategic planning, financial management and marketing positions at CBS, HBO, Comshare and the Institute for Social Research.

Mr. McNee is a University of Michigan alumnus, and has completed graduate work in economics at New York University. Since 2001, he has been a Board or Advisory Board member for the Westport Public Library.

Rick is the Co-founder and CTO of Boomi where he is responsible for product management and engineering. Boomi has a patent pending for Rick’s innovative Atom technology that powers Boomi AtomSphere, the company’s software-as-a-service offering. In his role at Boomi, Rick is constantly engaged with customers and partners to ensure alignment between business needs and Boomi’s product strategy.

Prior to founding Boomi, Rick worked for EXE Technologies, a market leading supply chain execution software company, in the areas of product development and implementation. Vincent OHare

Vincent is a life-long computer and business enthusiast, who first learned to program in the 1970's. During the 1980’s and 90’s, Vince moved on to selling computers, databases, computer graphics and software development environments to Defence Contractors, the MOD and later, to commercial companies including British Aerospace and British Telecom. He was an early pioneer of CRM systems, and founder of SAMTECH the software company that designed and developed the Prophet, SAM and SAM-II CRM systems. From the year 2000, Vince worked with the Internet, initially at Nortel Networks. Subsequently he was involved with the roll-out of Business and Residential Broadband Services across Europe, providing Internet communication protocol software to major European telephone companies and ISP's, including BT, France Telecom, FT Wanadoo and Neuf Telecom. More recently, with Zylog Systems Limited (ZSL), Vince has returned to his software development roots, as head of the corporate SaaS Practice, responsible for developing ZSL’s SaaS/Cloud business and competency in SaaS and Cloud Computing. His work is primarily aimed at assisting Independent Software Vendors (ISV’s) to improve their revenues, profitability and business value by migrating application software packages to the Cloud in general, and to the Software as a Service (SaaS) model in particular. He actively engages with ISV’s, VAR’s and SI’s across Europe and in the United States to develop transformational SaaS strategy, leading to client engagement and the design and development of new commercial Software as a Service platforms.

Simon Peel is Senior Vice President of Strategy for Cast Iron Systems, an IBM Company, the leading SaaS integration provider with the ability to expedite the integration of on-demand to on-demand and on-premise applications. He has 18 years of experience and expertise in business and product strategy, along with devising high-impact go-to-market plans for SaaS and enterprise solutions. Christophe has an extensive career in the technology industry. He began his career with NCR as a Sales Director for international accounts. Thereafter, he took up the lead for marketing operations for NCR and AT&T in France and at the pan-European level. He then reached the position of Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications for NCR's $2bn Financial Division, the company's largest and most profitable business unit.
After his tenure at NCR, Christophe took over as Managing Director for Fluiditi Ltd, a UK-based international firm specializing in security solutions for the financial industry. The company was later sold to Oberthur Card Systems. More recently, Christophe served as CEO for Kinamik, a software security provider.

When Christophe is not busy connecting enterprise software buyers with vendors, he likes to race long distance triathlons and go sailing.

Jeremy was the driving force behind FinancialForce.com founding company, CODA’s, success and global expansion prior to its acquisition by UNIT4 in February 2008, which has created one of Europe’s leading global business software vendors.

Jeremy became President and CEO of FinancialForce.com in 2009. FinancialForce.com is the new cloud accounting company formed with investment from UNIT4 and salesforce.com. It combines CODA’s 30 years of designing and building financial applications, with the world’s most trusted enterprise cloud computing platform, Force.com, from salesforce.com. Jeremy began his career at IBM, after which he joined the software house Lychgate UK where he held a number of senior systems engineering and sales roles. From there he joined Science Systems (now SciSys) as commercial director in 1990 and following the acquisition of CODA by Science Systems in March 2000, was appointed head of the product strategy and research and development functions of the CODA Group. He was then promoted to the role of CEO and led CODA through a successful demerger which saw the company list independently on the AIM market in London. It was during his tenure as CEO that Jeremy also helped establish the European Software Association and spent three years as Chairman, promoting software best practice and cooperation across the business community. The Association is a trade organization representing the European software industry.

He was responsible for integrating the sales and delivery organizations of the company's Internet businesses-hosting, IP networking, and managed services. Under his leadership, MFN customers included BP Amoco, JP Morgan Chase, Sony, Microsoft, and Mercedes-Benz. Mr. Ryan joined MFN from SiteSmith, a company that he co-founded in 1999 and ultimately sold to MFN the following year in a deal valued at $1.4 billion. Mr. Ryan has been a guest speaker at numerous industry events, including CIO, venture capital, Internet, hosting, and software conferences. He attended UCLA and is an advisor to the UCLA CLAS fund.

Prior to Adaptive Planning, Bill was an Executive in Residence at Accel Partners. Prior to Accel, he was General Manager of FRS, a business unit of S1 Corporation that provided financial institutions worldwide with enterprise risk and regulatory compliance solutions. While at S1, Bill transformed FRS into the company's most successful business unit, more than doubling revenues while building profitable and sustainable customer relationships with global financial institutions. Additionally, as a member of S1's executive team, Bill helped spearhead the build out of S1's European operations and served as the interim CEO of both S1 Europe and S1's Edify business unit. Prior to joining S1, he held a variety of executive roles at Edify Corporation, where he built and managed the company's highly-successful online financial services software business and helped drive the company's acquisition by S1. Previously, Bill served in management roles with Siemens-Rolm and IBM, and was Managing Partner and CFO of a residential construction company.

Sumner’s move to salesforce.com in 2008 followed a 20-year career in executive management in the technology industry. Most recently, Sumner was president of global services at Telecordia. Sumner was president and CEO of Alphablox, where she grew the company from $5 million to $25 million in two years.

Sumner also held several different positions at Oracle from 1987 to 1999, including vice president and senior vice president roles in sales and alliances. Earlier in her 30-year technology career, Sumner worked at McDonnell Douglas and IBM.

Sumner holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the Northern Arizona University and a Master of Science from the American Graduate School of International Management.

Mark Symonds is president and CEO of Plex Systems, Inc., developers of Plex Online™, a comprehensive, software as a service (SaaS) solution for manufacturers, including traditional ERP financial functions as well as shop-floor functions such as quality, engineering, traceability, supplier management and more.

Before joining Plex Systems, Symonds was with O/E Systems, a regional IT leasing and services firm, where he created the company's enterprise solutions division. Under his direction, the division grew from a single employee to more than 70, providing e-commerce and Internet solutions to Fortune 500 companies such as Kmart Corporation, DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Company and Microsoft. During this time Symonds also served on Microsoft's e-commerce advisory board and provided guidance on products and services for Microsoft customers. He co-founded Innovative Information Systems (IISI), an IT consulting and custom software development firm. Symonds was responsible for founding and developing the company's San Francisco office, which served such clients as Hewlett-Packard, Weyerhaeuser, Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, US Windpower and Levi Strauss. Symonds began his professional career at the Boston office of Arthur Andersen & Co. (now Accenture). He led teams to develop a wide variety of business applications mainly in the distribution and manufacturing Industries.

Symonds earned an MBA in finance and accounting from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in economics and French from the University of Rochester. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is also certified in production and inventory management (CPIM) by the American Production and Inventory Control Society. He holds a variety of industry association memberships, including the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), where he is a member of its national board of directors. He is also a member of the Industrial Fastener Institute (IFI), the Forging Industry Association (FIA), the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) and the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA).

 

Nazir Ul-Ghani

Nazir has over 20 years experience in business and IT systems. Nazir’s degree was sponsored and he graduated winning the ‘School of Engineering prize’. Nazir initially worked as an analyst and then a PM in the UK and Europe for Pall engineering. After studying IT Strategy and Business Process Reengineering, at Cranfield, Nazir joined BUPA. After successfully re-engineering the HR function, introducing Treasury systems and implementing PeopleSoft he became responsible for delivering corporate systems.

Nazir was then recruited by a NASDAQ quoted SI Whitman-hart the PeopleSoft Practice Manager and built the sales and consulting teams from the ground up to become multi-million pound division in year 1. Nazir was then given responsibility for the SAP and Microsoft practices for the UK and laster focused on cross-selling solutions with the newly acquired companies Fulcrum Solutions, USWeb/CKS and Mitchell Madison Group.

After the USWeb/CKS and Whittman-Hart merger, Nazir joined his CTO at Cassium Technologies initially responsible for consulting. Nazir established the relationship with Microsoft and built and built the consulting division for Telco and Media. Cassium won backing by the venture capital arm of Close Brothers and was successfully sold to market listed Netstore in 2005.

Post earn-out, Nazir left Netstore and conducted an MBO of the Ri3K Microsoft technology team (owned by Brit Insurance) and co-founded Riverswave. Riverswave delivers high-performance managed service and SaaS information management solutions for global reinsurance companies.

More recently, Nazir worked at the Accenture and Microsoft joint venture Avanade and as a Solution Director for one of UKs leading Managed Service and Security company.

Mike joined COMPUTERLINKS in 2000 (formerly Unipalm) as a territory manager and provided sales support for a wide product range to the internal account teams and customers. A year later, Mike was promoted to the role of Trend Micro Sales Specialist. Staying in this role for 6 years, Mike made a major contribution in growing sales for this developing vendor in the UK channel. In 2007, Mike’s path took a significant turn into product management where he provided marketing and sales strategic services and sales management for the F5, Tripwire and ActivIdentity franchises.

Prior to joining COMPUTERLINKS, Mike held IT Sales roles in IcoSys Computers & Communications Ltd and Getech Ltd. Mike experience in IT spans over 13 years.
