All SaaS/Gov case studies must meet the following criteria:
- Remote Data Centers - The actual computing takes place in a remote data center, not on an individual's computer or within a company's own IT facilities. As a result, the user does not have to install or maintain a local copy of the software or invest in IT infrastructure.
- Internet Access - Users access the software over the public Internet with a browser. As a result, they can retrieve their information around the world without the need for dedicated networks and proprietary communication lines.
- Multi-tenant Technology - Applications are designed to be delivered to thousands of organizations and millions of users at once. Multi-tenant technology allows cloud computing companies to offer each customer an individualized application that runs on the same underlying software platform.
- Subscriptions - The customer does not purchase the application, but subscribes to it for a time-period, usually on a per-seat or per-usage basis.
Approved case studies will be posted on this website and distributed at the conference.
