Government Agency: Mark Warner for US Senate

Solution or Platform Selected: Enterprise Edition

    1. The Government agency's challenge that led to the Cloud or SaaS adoption.
WebStrong Group worked with Virginia Governor Mark Warner's campaign for the US Senate in Virginia. Gov. Mark Warner has been a leading-edge technology adopter, and asked WebStrong Group to find a CRM solution that would be able to integrate different avenues of contact and supporter information into a 360-view database, and customize it for specific department needs. Specifically, WSG was asked to create a task-flow of operations that worked across staff departments; developed a scheduling and call-time solution; synced the data-flow with the website forms; housed email for reports that integrated with a bulk email solution; stored financial and contact information.

    2. The solution that was chosen and why that particular solution was selected.
Working with the Enterprise Edition of Salesforce, WebStrong Group worked to customize the platform for the campaign's needs. Force.com Apps were created for the different departments of the campaign: scheduling, finance, internet, outreach, research, and political which integrated 3rd party websites and information.

    3. Results of the implementation. How did the vendor meet the agency's needs?
WebStrong Group, over a period of six months, continually customized the apps to optimize their performance; WSG also trained the staff, up to 25 at a maximum, to become more efficient in its use of the apps. The political use of Salesforce has just begun with the 2008 cycle, and WebStrong Group will be offering an Enterprise solution, along with specific apps, in the upcoming 2010 cycle that build off of its success with helping to elect Senator Mark Warner.
