ISAT Data Analysis of a Pilot Study of Brain Hurricane's Implementation of the Wowzers Program

Data analysts were asked to explore a dataset of 97 grade four student achievement data in mathematics linked to a pilot study of Brain Hurricane's implementation of a computer-based mathematics program called "Wowzers." Wowzers combines elements of electronic gaming with direct instruction. The data was collected on students who were categorized as belonging to either a treatment or a control group at one of two schools. Results indicated statistically significant differences between treatment and control group means.
