Networking Opportunities
Due to the global turn-out for WFIC, the conference offers many unique opportunities, one of which is networking. During the 3.5+ days you will have ample time to meet new industry contacts and renew acquaintances in a variety of settings. As you make your travel plans, please be sure to review the details below. You may register for these events as you register to attend the conference. A Spouse Rate of $250 USD is available which includes the Welcome Reception, Award Dinner at Beato Convent, Dinner at Colares Wine Cellar and the Farewell boat cruise. It is important to note that the tours and the tournament have limited capacity.
Saturday, October 5
Experience Sintra * Optional Event/Additional Fee of $100 for members/ non members $125
Enjoy a full day of networking with colleagues as you experience Sintra, a charming village classified as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. For the morning, we have organized a team-building networking activity that will challenge your skills and provide unusual access to the sites in Sintra. In the afternoon there will be a guided tour of the Royal Palace. We have scheduled a mid-day break to explore, lunch and shopping is on your own.
