Keynote Speakers

Adena Friedman

President, Nasdaq

Adena T. Friedman currently serves as President of Nasdaq. In this role, Ms. Friedman is responsible for overseeing the strategy and operations as well as having financial responsibility for the company's Listing Services, Information Services (comprising Indexes and Data Products) and Technology Solutions (comprising Market Technology and Corporate Solutions) business segments. Prior to rejoining Nasdaq, she was Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of the Carlye Group, a global asset management firm based in Washington, DC from March 2011 to June 2014. Before Carlyle, Ms. Friedman was a key member of Nasdaq's management team for over a decade, serving in a variety of roles including head of the company's data products business, head of corporate strategy, and expansion of the organization, helping to create one of the most diversified exchanges in the world today. She was a central driver of the company's acquisition strategy, helping orchestrate the acquisitions of INET, OMX, Philadelphia, and Boston Exchanges. She originally joined Nasdaq in 1993. Ms. Friedman earned an MBA from Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University, in Nashville, Tennessee. She holds a BA in political science from Williams College in Massachusetts.

Dr. Mickey Levy Ph.D.

Chief Economist, the Americas and Asia, Berenberg Capital Markets

Dr. Mickey D. Levy is Chief Economist, the Americas and Asia for Berenberg Capital Markets. Mickey analyzes and forecasts US and international market behavior. Following experience in Washington, DC conducting fiscal and monetary research, he applies economic and public policy analysis to investments, risk management, and banking.He was chief economist of Blenheim Capital Management from 2013-2015 and prior to that he was chief economist at Bank of America (1998-2013) where he sat on the bank's asset liability and market risk committee. Mickey is co-chairman of the Shadow Open Market Committee, a group of academics that analyzes the monetary policies of the US Federal Reserve and other global central banks. Mickey is an advisor to several US Federal Reserve Banks and the European Commission. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Economic Club of New York, and the Foreign Policy Research Institute. He is also a member of the governance board of the Research Alliance for New York Schools. Mickey testifies before US Congressional committees on topics concerning monetary and fiscal policies, global imbalances, and economic and financial conditions.


Oliver Albers

Senior Managing Director, Market Data Distribution, Nasdaq

Oliver Albers is Head of Global Sales and Account Management for NASDAQ OMX Global Data Products. The Global Data Products team is focused on creating innovative real-time and historical data products that provide unsurpassed market transparency to institutional, retail and individual investors. Mr. Albers and his team are responsible for providing value-added consultative services to all NASDAQ OMX market data vendors and for managing relationships with data subscribers. Prior to this role, Mr. Albers held other sales and product management positions at NASDAQ OMX and was instrumental in the launch and implementation of many new products including the NASDAQ Closing Cross, NASDAQ TotalView, Velocity and Forces, Market Pathfinders, Market Replay and ModelView. Mr. Albers holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Ohio University and a Masters in Business Administration from The George Washington University.

David Anderson

Global Manager, Bloomberg

David Anderson is the Global Head of Exchange Business Management at Bloomberg. The Exchange Business Management team is responsible for managing all aspects of exchange content and includes managing Bloomberg’s relationships with exchanges, negotiating contracts, on-boarding feeds and managing customer queries related to exchange data. Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2011, David held a number of positions at Thomson Reuters, primarily within the data acquisition space. David holds both a BSc and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Strathclyde University.

Sara Banerjee

WFIC Conference Co-Chair - Director, Global Data Acquisition, SIX Financial Information Ltd.

Sara Banerjee is Director, Global Data Acquisition with SIX Financial Information Ltd in Zurich, Switzerland. Sara joined SIX Telekurs USA in Stamford, CT in 1989, and has held various positions within the company. In her current position, she is responsible for global data acquisition, management of supplier portfolio and relationship. In this role, she manages best practices for acquisition and implementation of market and reference data from dozens of global exchanges and third party contributors. Sara is additionally responsible for various strategic initiatives and projects. Sara is actively involved with various industry initiatives, and works with groups such as the X9D (ANSI Standards) committee and ISO standards working groups (WG 1, WG 2, WG 6 and WG 14). She also serves as co-chair of the vendor committee for the International Securities Association for Institutional Trade (ISITC). She is active in various divisions of the Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). In addition to her other industry activities, Sara has served in a number of leadership roles with the Financial Information Industry Services Division of the SIIA (FISD). She has served on several FISD committees since joining the group in 1994, and was elected chair of the Executive Committee in 2001, 2002 and 2006, and vice-chair in 2005, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011. She currently serves on the Executive Committee, co-chair of the Data Vendor Constituency Group and is co-chair of the biennial World Financial Information Conference. Sara was born in Hyderabad, India, where she earned a master’s degree in organizational behavior from Osmania University. After moving to the United States, she earned a masters degree in human resource management from University of Bridgeport, CT.

Frances Barney

Head of Global Risk Solutions Consulting – Americas, BNY Mellon

Frances is responsible for investment risk and performance analysis services for BNY Mellon’s Asset Servicing clients in the Americas. Frances has twenty-four years of investment industry experience, most of it in performance and risk analytics services. Prior to joining BNY Mellon in 2006, Frances worked at State Street Corporation, where she oversaw one of three regional offices supporting the delivery of performance analytics for its U.S. custody clients and managed the U.S. performance outsourcing service for investment managers and consultants. Prior to that, she worked at Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas, where she was head of performance analytics. Frances started her career at Bankers Trust, where she held a variety of product and risk management roles in the global markets and investor services divisions. Frances received a B.A. from Yale University, an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Frances also consults with the CFA Institute in the ongoing development of the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement ("CIPM") program.

Adam Bennett

President & Executive Chairman, Hatstand

Adam has over 25 years' experience within the financial markets industry, specializing in front office trading technology - from design to development and implementation through to support. Formerly Global Head of Market Data, Market Connectivity and High Performance Data Management Systems at two leading Investment Banks, Adam has been with Hatstand since its inception in 1999. Having been CEO for over 10 years, Adam now takes on a role as President and Executive Chairman, promoting the Hatstand brand and credentials globally whilst exploring strategic partnerships.

Michael Blasi, FIA

Vice President, Market Data Advisory Services, Fidelity

Michael Blasi is Vice President, Market Data Advisory Services within Enterprise Infrastructure, a division of Fidelity Investments. Fidelity is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services. Mr. Blasi is responsible for enterprise market data supplier management with a focus on performance management, service level agreements, and scorecards, as well as providing client services to Fidelity business units leveraging all forms of market data content for internal consumption and external delivery to Fidelity retail and institutional customers. The market data advisory services team also manages enterprise forums that are focused on firm level market data management of expense, inventory, information, and suppliers. Prior to joining Fidelity in 2012, Mr. Blasi was a Vice President at SunGard Data Systems where he was responsible for the suite of market data products under the SunGard FAME / MarketMap brand. His other positions at SunGard focused on the client services, implementation, and operations areas. Mr. Blasi received his Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Finance and Economics from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Andy Bose

Vice President and General Manager, Oil, Platts

Andy Bose is vice president and general manager, oil, for Platts, a division of McGraw Hill Financial and a leading global provider of information and benchmarks for the energy, petrochemicals, metals and agriculture markets. In this role, Andy has responsibility for the strategic direction, commercial priorities and financial results of Platts’ oil business. As part of this role, Andy manages Platts’ eWindow, licensing and market data commercial groups. Andy, who is based in New York, assumed his current position in December 2011 after serving as vice president of strategic business operations. In that role, he worked with Platts’ leadership team to implement risk mitigation and to assess emerging opportunities arising from increased regulatory scrutiny of trading in commodities markets. Before joining Platts, Andy held diverse product development and regulatory roles at Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services and Capital IQ. He joined Standard & Poor’s in 1999, was promoted to managing director in 2006 and served as a key member of the team that implemented the regulatory program for the ratings business in 2010. Earlier in his career, Andy was a software and systems engineer in the aerospace industry and held a variety of positions at GE, Martin Marietta and Lockheed. Andy received an MBA degree from the New York University’s Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s of science degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton University.

James Brooks

Head of NYSE Proprietary Market Data, Intercontinental Exchange:NYSE

As Head of NYSE Proprietary Market Data, Mr. Brooks is responsible for ensuring that the NYSE Group’s markets provide the highest possible quality marked data including real-time, historical and referential data. Mr. Brooks is engaged in the formulation of business strategy, new product development, the enhancement of existing products and marketing. Mr. Brooks joined the company in January 2012 as part of the U.S. transactions business. He assumed responsibility or proprietary market data in 2014. Prior to joining NYSE, Mr. Brooks was Vice President of Equity Strategy at NASDAQ OMX responsible for the execution and routing of orders for the NASDAQ, BX, and PSX equities markets. Before joining NASDAQ in 2001, he worked at the Law and Economics Consulting Group analyzing the structure and competitive forces of various markets. Mr. Brooks studied at the University of Virginia where he earned a B.A. in Economics.

Brian Buzzelli

Senior Vice President, Head of Data Governance, Acadian Asset Management

Mr. Buzzelli is Senior Vice President and Head of Data Governance for Acadian, a quantitative institutional asset management firm specializing in active global, emerging and frontier investments utilizing sophisticated analytical models and specialized research expertise. He has primary responsibility for data governance policies, standards, data quality measurement, and alignment of data taxonomy, dictionary and meta-data management. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in prior roles including: Executive Director, Head of Enterprise Data Management, Americas responsible for Nomura’s client reference and product data as well as market data commercial vendor management supporting the U.S. and global broker dealer operations. Vice President, Americas Head for Thomson Reuters Enterprise Pricing and Reference Data business and strategic roles as Business Architect and Cross-Segment Product Manager for Mellon’s Global Asset Services division. He began his financial career at Federated Investors and is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Decision Systems and holds two Master degrees; Management of Information Systems and an MBA in Finance from the Katz Business School at the University of Pittsburgh.

Kevin Carrai

VP, Market Data and Access Services, BATS

Kevin Carrai is Vice President, U.S. Market Data and Access Services for BATS Global Markets, one of the leading stock exchange operators in the U.S. and globally. Mr. Carrai oversees the company’s market data and access services business including product development, strategy, pricing and data policy. He was previously with Direct Edge, where he was responsible for building the exchange’s market data and connectivity business, growing it into a significant part of the company’s business. Before joining Direct Edge, Kevin led Access Services at Nasdaq OMX and was responsible for its equity and options connectivity business, including the management of Nasdaq’s co-location business.

Chris Casey

Regulatory Product Manager, Bloomberg

Chris Casey manages product development for Regulatory and Accounting Products which provides content and solutions that assist with regulatory compliance. Chris currently leads product development related to Volcker Rule implementation. He joined Bloomberg in 2014, bringing with him more than 10 years of experience working in capital markets as an advisor to global financial institutions on regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Chris was a manager at KPMG, where he assisted numerous institutions operating in Australian, North American, Asian and European markets with implementing regulatory compliance programs. Originally from Australia, Chris holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and is a 2015 Level I CFA Candidate.

Philippe Chambadal

Chief Executive Officer, SmartStream Technologies

Philippe Chambadal, CEO of SmartStream, is also the CEO of DClear - a wholly-owned subsidiary of DIFC Investments and SmartStream's parent company. As the CEO of DClear, Philippe led the acquisition of SmartStream in 2007. Prior to his appointment he served as a SmartStream board member and actively driving the Company’s progress in the marketplace. Philippe has held senior management positions in software and hi-tech firms for the past 15 years. He was the Founder & CEO of MetaMatrix, the leading data services platform purchased by Red Hat. Prior to MetaMatrix, he was EVP at FAME Software, a Warburg Pincus portfolio company - subsequently acquired by Sungard. Additionally, Philippe co-founded Reuters New Media and was responsible for the successful launch of the Reuters Terminal, the first Windows-based product launched in the financial market. He also created and led the Research & Analytics division at Instinet.

David Coluccio

VP Head of Enterprise Solutions, S&P Global Market Intelligence

David is accountable for managing, developing, maintaining and enhancing the Fundamental Analysis suite of products, which includes Compustat, Capital IQ Fundamentals, Capital IQ Estimates, GICS, Ownership and Transactions to name a few. David joined S&P Capital IQ in August 2013. Prior to joining S&P Capital IQ, David spent 18 years in the financial service industry serving in multiple leadership roles within content and product at firms such as Market Guide, Multex, Reuters and Thomson Reuters. While at Thomson Reuters, David was responsible for the Fundamentals, Estimates and Ownership content strategy, working very closely with clients and industry leaders. David has contributed in the analysis and execution of many acquisitions and partnerships and has also participated and presented at many industry wide XBRL conferences and round tables. David graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Economics.

Michael Connor

Principal, Tower Hill Advisors

Michael Connor is a principal of Tower Hill Advisors, a management consulting firm focused on media, financial information and fintech companies. He specializes in helping organizations rediscover their entrepreneurial “mojo” through radical change in culture, communication, and customer engagement. Prior to Tower Hill, he was Chief Executive Officer of Gimme Credit LLC, an independent corporate bond research firm based in New York. Connor was also the Chief Executive Officer of Market News International (MNI), where he led the company from its startup phase to its position as a leading provider of information and intelligence to the global financial markets. He also served as President of Xinhua Finance’s News & Analysis Division, which included MNI. Prior to joining MNI, Mr. Connor was the Manager of Strategic Planning and Development for the Corporate Bond Division of Moody's Investor Service. He has also worked at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets and the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Connor holds a BS in Business and Economics from Lehigh University. He served on the Board of Trustees of Lehigh, is a founder and former president of the Lehigh Wall Street Council (a networking organization which he grew to 1,800+ members), served on the planning committee for this year’s WFIC, is a member of the Advisory Council of the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation, is on the board of directors for Nathan Associates, is on the advisory board of MT Newswires, and is a past President of the Money Marketeers of New York University.

Michael Cooper

CTO, BT Radianz, Global Banking and Financial Markets, BT

Michael is a business technologist with considerable experience of the capital markets and a background in finance industry networking. He combines a particular interest in the evolution of the capital markets with the exploitation and integration of technology in capital markets business. As CTO for BT Radianz, Michael is responsible for architecture and the technical strategies that underpin BT’s Financial Market propositions. These products and services include: the BT Radianz Cloud — the world’s largest secure networked financial services community, BT Radianz Messaging, BT Radianz Hosting and Venue Interconnect. Previously, Michael was the Head of GB&FM Product Technology. During this time he created a business technology group responsible for the development and evolution of products and propositions together with leadership of innovation. Prior to this he ran the Radianz Customer Solutions team that provided early adopter solutions for key clients and new technologies. In 2012, Michael was named a ‘CTO of the Year’ finalist in the Financial News awards for Excellence in Trading and Technology. And in 2013 he made the final shortlist in the Here is the City CTO/CIO of the Year Poll. Michael has an MSc in Telecommunications Business Management from the University College of London.

Carol Couch

Vice President, Market Data, Capital Group Companies

Carol Couch is Vice President, Market Data Information Services at the Capital Group Companies, a global investment management organization. She and her team have global responsibility for the acquisition, delivery and management of all market data content and services used by Capital Group associates and systems. She has 14 years of experience in the financial services industry and prior to joining Capital she held positions in IT consulting, aerospace, academia and government. Ms. Couch earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Old Dominion University, a Masters of Information Systems from Claremont University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Tom Davin, FIA

Managing Director, FISD

Tom Davin is Managing Director, Financial Information Services Association (FISD) of the SIIA. FISD is the global, neutral forum for the financial information industry with a diverse membership that includes major market data vendors, exchanges, technology providers, and the financial institutions that utilize financial data products. Tom works closely with FISD members to identify major issues and seek opportunities to bring the financial information industry together to discuss and resolve those issues. FISD conducts regular membership events in North America, Europe, Asia, Brazil, and Australia and hosts the biennial World Financial Information Conference – the premiere global industry conference for financial information professionals.

Chris Dearie

Chief Operating Officer, Tullett Prebon Information

Chris Dearie is the Chief Operating Officer for Tullett Prebon Information. Chris manages global teams responsible for TPI group operations including customer support, data quality, pricing and product development including strategic partnerships. TPI prides itself on having market leading data quality and customer support, whilst leading innovation in product development to create offerings that address the growing appetite in the financial community for high-quality, independent OTC information, from a leading interdealer broker. A key aspect is to ensure these services accommodate the flexible usage and commercial rights required by institutions utilising the information. Appointment to COO followed a number of roles at TPI including successfully growing the Direct Feeds business, setting up of TPI’s Global Accounts programme and managing product development. Prior to joining Tullett Prebon Plc, Chris held a number of roles at Reuters including having responsibility for global strategy in exchange market data contracts, working in the Content Acquisition team. Chris negotiated content contracts covering all asset classes with responsibility for commercial negotiation, customer consultancy on third party data use and product compliance. Chris sits on various industry discussion groups and speaks regularly on panels about policies and strategy in market data.

Adam Devine

VP, Product Marketing & Strategic Partnerships, WorkFusion

Adam Devine leads product marketing for WorkFusion, an enterprise crowd computing platform for automating the processing and production of content by pairing human workers with machine learning. Adam is charged with understanding the problems of WorkFusion’s vertical markets and collaborating with the company’s product team and customers to develop and communicate platform applications to solve them. Predrag Dizdarevic

Predrag is an established entrepreneur with extensive experience in managing and developing services and software organizations within financial services and information technology industries. Predrag advises financial services companies on data management and technology strategies. He consults with private equity firms on investment selection and the creation of new businesses within the financial technology and services space. To appropriately prepare them for strategic transactions, he advises technology and services companies on strategic positioning designed to fuel growth and enhance fund-raising capabilities. For six years prior to founding Element22, Predrag was a Partner and Executive Vice President at Capco. As a member of the Executive Management Board and President of Capco Data Services and Solutions, he developed and commercialized innovative and transformational business and technology solutions to drive transactions and recurring revenues. As President and CEO of Financial Technologies International (now GoldenSource), Predrag transformed a loosely-coupled consortium comprised of four banks into a strong, profitable, and innovative software provider to over 90 financial institutions.

Anastasia Dokuchaeva

CEO, AD Consulting

Anastasia Dokuchaeva is a seasoned professional with expertise and proven track record delivering regulatory technology solutions to the financial services industry. At this time Anastasia is an independent consultant working with the RegTech start-up community and advising firms on product and go-to-market strategy for recent and upcoming regulations such as 4MLD, MiFID II, and GDPR. She is currently working on such a project with London-based ClauseMatch. Prior to this, Anastasia was Director of Global Regulatory Solutions at FactSet, where under her leadership the company released a number of successful solutions for Solvency II, BCBS 239, PRIIPs and KYC/AML. Anastasia is a frequent speaker at industry events with the focus on challenges around data management and data standards.

Brian Downer

SVP, Head of IT Global Product and Platform Solutions , State Street

Brian Downer is a senior vice president and head of IT Global Product and Platform Solutions within State Street. In this role, he focuses on developing industry leading solutions and products critical to delivering superior client service, fueling innovation and increasing efficiencies. Since joining State Street in 1990, Mr. Downer has held a number of diverse leadership positions. After leading State Street’s Private Client Services business through a period of dramatic growth, he was a founding member of State Street’s Wealth Manager Services group. In this role, he oversaw client service, operations and product management. He has also managed several strategic initiatives, acquisitions and outsourcing transactions for State Street. Prior to joining State Street, Mr. Downer was a trust officer at the Bank of New England. Mr. Downer is a director and board treasurer of the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to ensure that children, youth and families have the resources and support to achieve greater economic success and social well-being. He is also a member of the Merrimack College Leadership Council. Mr. Downer received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Merrimack College and completed coursework in Suffolk University’s Master of Business Administration program.

Morgan Downey


Morgan Downey is the CEO of Money.Net. Prior to Money.Net, Morgan was Global Head of commodities at Bloomberg, LP. Morgan managed development of the Bloomberg Professional terminal. At Bloomberg, Morgan used his market experience to build a suite of revolutionary, unique, and innovative products. Before Bloomberg, Morgan spent 15 years running trading desks, as manager and head trader, for banks including Citibank, Bank of America and Standard Chartered, in the US, UK, Australia, and Singapore. Liz Duggan

Managing Director, Global Evaluated Pricing Business Development , Interactive Data

Liz Duggan is managing director, Global Evaluated Pricing Business Development for Interactive Data’s Pricing and Reference Data business. She has more than 20 years of experience in market data services, working with investment companies, investment advisors, broker/dealers and other financial institutions. Liz oversees key initiatives related to enhancing and expanding the Company’s evaluated pricing services, broadening overall market coverage and providing increased transparency to evaluation services. Liz joined Interactive Data in 1999 and has held several roles within the Company —most recently serving as Managing Director of Global Evaluated Pricing Operations. Prior to joining the Company, Liz served as a senior vice president of Thomson Financial Securities Management.

Kurt Eldridge

Regional Director-Americas, SmartStream

Kurt Eldridge is Regional Director of the Americas responsible for all client interactions both sales and post sales for the region. He works closely with both the product and development teams to ensure the solutions are meeting market requirements. Kurt joined SmartStream in 2007 initially managing the managing the Australian operation and growing the business over 200% within three years. Over the last 5 years Kurt has worked with in various global areas of the sales organization, including opening the Canadian business prior to moving to New York Office. Previously Kurt has worked for a number of investment banks in Commodities and Futures trading roles as well as number of fintech business. Directly prior to SmartStream he managed the financial services practice for Gartner providing consulting and research services to the Australian banking market. He brings a unique view point of trading and technology consulting experience to the client services side of the organization.

Steve Ellenberg, FIA

ILM Product Manager and Senior Consultant, MDSL

Steve has managed the design and prototype development initiative for MDSL’s Index License Manager (ILM) software. Web ILM was recently released in Q3 2015 to both buy-side and sell-side firms for accurate and efficient index license tracking, management, and reporting. Steve also provides index licensing marketplace expertise for MDSL’s Managed Services and Professional Services clients. Prior to joining MDSL in 2012, Steve was a Vice President of market data sourcing at Credit Suisse, where he managed a multi-year initiative which globally consolidated and centralized the sourcing and business management responsibilities for all index data and index issuance/benchmark license agreements. With more than 20 years of experience in the market data industry, Steve has held market data business management roles at Citigroup Asset Management, Morgan Stanley, CS First Boston, Tudor Software, with prior technical market data roles at Telekurs NA (now SIX Financial Information), Integrated Analytics (now ITG), and Haver Analytics. Steve earned his BA from New York University, and his FIA from FISD.

Jamie Farmer

Managing Director, Index Investment Strategy, S&P Dow Jones Indices

Jamie Farmer is Managing Director, Index Investment Strategy of S&P Dow Jones Indices. He oversees the creation, development and maintenance of new indexes and ensures the alignment of strategic objectives and activities across the business unit. He also is responsible for maintaining relationships with stock, futures and options exchanges in the Americas region. Mr. Farmer oversees business development for the Dow Jones Energy Indexes. Prior to his current role, Mr. Farmer was a senior associate of strategic relationships at Susquehanna International Group, LLP, a global institutional sales, research and market-making firm based in Bala Cynwyd, Pa., from 1999-2006. There his primary focus was on the development of new products such as cash-settled index options and exchange-traded funds. He also handled marketing, equity research and business development at SIG. He has spent close to 20 years architecting software and hardware solutions for the financial industry. He wrote Barchart's core realtime server systems, as well as the first generation of Barchart's web content delivery systems. Mr. Pikat also authored the first and second generation of Barchart's quote and trading software. Initially working in a support role with Tullett Prebon and then Credit Suisse Peter joined CJC Ltd 10 years ago as an onsite consultant at BNP Paribas, soon after Peter was seconded into forming part of the initial managed services team at CJC which provided remote monitoring, support and management of the newly created Reuters Hosted System (RHS). As the system grew and thrived so did CJC and Peter was made Director of Operations for EMEA with the remit of growing the London support and engineering teams and helping to shape the operational processes and structures used to deliver the service. A self-confessed geek Peter revels in new technology and is a passionate advocate of “the cloud” and cloud based managed services.

Abudi Zein

Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Clipperdata

Abudi Zein is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at ClipperData. Mr. Zein specializes in energy market pricing, information product development and fundamental analysis. He most recently lead efforts at Genscape to create new information products based on the Company's proprietary energy data. Prior to joining Genscape, Mr. Zein worked in the energy information industry in Tokyo, Singapore, London, Houston and New York. During his career, Mr. Zein held management positions in editorial, product development, marketing, sales and general management. He was CEO for Argus Media, Inc, a Senior Vice President at Oxford Analytica and Sales Director at Platts London. Mr. Zein has a master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Hanover in Germany, and a master’s in journalism from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
