Craig Knight Ph.D.

Craig Knight is a Founder and Director of Haddleton Knight Limited. HK is a leadership, change management and coaching consultancy with strong connections to blue chip industry and several universities, particularly The University of Exeter. Dr. Knight is focused on developing evidence based organizational change, design and leadership programs that directly benefit organization, their employees and the bottom line. Craig’s peer-reviewed research into organizational leadership has been widely published and attracted much comment. The use of HK methodology has seen increases in well-being of up to 40%, productivity of up to 32% and effective intelligence of up to 19%. Craig is a Chartered Psychologist, Honorary Research Fellow (Exon) and a Registered Occupational Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council. Craig has operated at Director and Managing Director levels across business design and consultancy sectors. He has a PhD in the psychology of leadership within working and living environments.

Lynn Martin

President & COO, ICE Data Services

Lynn Martin is President and COO of ICE Data Services, a leading provider of market data solutions which is part of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE). Martin is responsible for managing global data operations including exchange data, pricing and analytics, reference data, desktops and connectivity services that cover all major asset classes. Martin began her career at IBM in their Global Services organization where she served a variety of functions, predominately as a project manager within the financial services practice. Martin joined NYSE Euronext in 2001 and has served in a number of leadership roles, including CEO of NYSE Liffe U.S. and CEO of New York Portfolio Clearing. She most recently served as COO of ICE Clear U.S. Martin holds a BS in Computer Science from Manhattan College and a MA in Statistics from Columbia University. She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society.

Dr. Kay Swinburne, MEP

Vice Chairman of Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee, European Parliament

Kay was elected as the Conservative MEP for Wales in June 2009. A successful career in investment banking & fund management has equipped her with in-depth knowledge of the global financial markets and led to her appointment as a Coordinator on the Economics and Monetary Affairs committee (ECON) in the European Parliament. Most recently she was also appointed Vice Chairman on the Economic and Monetary Affairs committee. She has worked on financial reform legislation including EMIR, MiFID II and CSDR as well as recovery and resolution of CCPs for the past 7 years. Since the outcome of the UK’s vote on Brexit, Kay has been actively involved in facilitating industry’s engagement with both the UK Government and the EU institutions. She would like to ensure that whatever the new relationship is between the EU and the UK, the role of the City of London as a successful global financial centre is maintained.


Ed Addvensky

Ed Addvensky, Vice President - Global Head of Relationship Management Ed Addvensky is Global Head of Relationship Management at ICE Data Services, which is part of Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE). As co-head of ICE Data Services’ sales team, he leads the company’s Relationship Management activities across ICE’s pricing and analytics, connectivity and feeds, and global desktops businesses. Addvensky has held several roles in sales and sales management since joining ICE Data Services and Interactive Data Corporation (acquired by ICE in late 2015). He has more than 25 years of experience helping the front, middle and back office find solutions to complex challenges. Addvensky holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Boston College and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Fordham University.

Deirdre Alphenaar Ph.D.

Deirdre Alphenaar is Chief R&D Officer at Genscape, overseeing the development of unique market-moving intelligence products. She directs and develops the scientific research and field operations teams, with the mission to deliver remote sensing methods, signals intelligence and sensor network solutions to provide unique real-time trading intelligence to Commodities & Energy markets (Oil, Power, Natural Gas, Ag/Biofuels, Solar and Water). The global field operations team have deployed ground-based sensor and telemetry networks totaling over 7,000 individual sensors in more than 140 countries worldwide. Genscape R&D scientists take the remotely sensed data, employ signals/image processing, advanced machine learning and analytical methods to transform signals intelligence into market intelligence for Genscape clients. Deirdre founded the R&D division at Genscape and has led and evolved the strategic development of the Genscape IP portfolio (which currently comprises over 100 patents worldwide). She is a named inventor on several global patent filings and has authored 15+ scientific papers in the fields of radio-immunotherapy, oncology, materials science, polymer physics, and image processing. Prior to Genscape, she worked as the Director of Information Technology for Telemics, Inc., a Louisville based wireless telemetry start-up company. Before moving to Louisville in 2000, she held a research associate position at the University of Cambridge, England, following a Ph.D. in Physics (University of Surrey), and a Masters in Medical Radiation Physics (Charing Cross Medical School/Brunel University).

Shaun Baskett

Director Index Sales, Cboe Europe

Shaun Baskett has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry with a background in equity Derivatives and Indexing. Shaun is currently the Director of Index Sales for Cboe Europe, the largest stock exchange in Europe. In his role, which he has held since the beginning of 2017, Shaun oversees sales and marketing efforts for the company’s index products. Bats launched its index business in June 2016 and is bringing choice and competition to the European index market through its suite of products. Prior to joining Cboe, Shaun worked in Index sales for Deutsche Boerse, as well as roles at the London Stock Exchange and OM Group. Shaun has also had several roles in Investment banks including as a sales trader at JP Morgan and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

Ken Brady

Ken is the Global Head of Market Data responsible for strategic data requirements, procurement and vendor provider strategy for Morgan Stanley Globally. Ken joined Morgan Stanley from Merrill Lynch where he was the Global Market Data Technology manager for the Institutional Business. Prior to Merrill Lynch Ken was with EJV partners in the early start up phase and before EJV Ken managed the Open Systems Group for Reuters. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science as well as an Masters in Business Administration from the Columbia University Business School. Ken has participated in a number of industry associations including the SIFMA Market Data Committee and the FIF Executive Committee.

Ollie Cadman

Chief Product Officer, Vela

Ollie Cadman is Head of Product and Strategy, responsible for driving product development, strategy, and roadmap priorities at Vela. His role also includes identifying new market, partnership, and product opportunities through ongoing engagements with the firm’s global client base. Based in London, Ollie joined Vela from Intercontinental Exchange (previously Interactive Data) and has a proven track record in global rollout and development of a wide range of products and services. He has an extensive background in electronic trading, exchange connectivity, and real-time data. Combined with his strong analytical skills, he has an ability to adapt to market challenges and optimize new business opportunities. Ollie has held senior roles at Citihub Consulting, JP Morgan, and the London Stock Exchange. Ollie holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire.

Kevin Carrai

Kevin Carrai is Vice President and Global Head of Market Data and Access Services for Cboe, one of the world’s largest exchange holding companies, offering trading across a diverse range of products in multiple asset classes and geographies. At Cboe, Mr. Carrai oversees the company’s market data and access services business including product development, strategy, pricing and data policy. He was previously with Bats, and Direct Edge, where he was responsible for building their market data and connectivity businesses. Before joining Direct Edge, Kevin led Access Services at Nasdaq and was responsible for its equity and options connectivity business, including the establishment of Nasdaq’s co-location business.

Joshua Carroll

Joshua Carroll joined RBC in the UK in April 2009, initially running the London & Asia Market Data Team. Joshua relocated with RBC to NY in January 2014 having taken over the role of Global Head of Market Data Operations and Engineering in November 2013. Josh joined RBC from Merrill Lynch where he was Head of Market Data Operations for EMEA. During his time with RBC – he has at times also held several other dual roles in addition to his Market Data responsibilities – Head of Infrastructure Applications (covering Global Monitoring & Databases) and London Unix Manager.

Paola Cereghino

Linda G. Clarkson

Linda is the Director of News, Research, Filings & Transcripts for FactSet Research Systems, Inc. She and her global team manage relationships with editorial news providers, regulatory news and filings sources, and research and fund contributors. She also manages the FactSet CallStreet team that provides event information and transcripts of management conference calls to the investment community. Linda joined FactSet in 2000 and during her tenure, she led the launch of real time news, research and filings in FactSet’s first real time product (Marquee) in June 2002, managed document sourcing for the Worldscope acquisition for FactSet Fundamentals, and ensured a successful integration of StreetAccount News. Prior to FactSet, Linda was News Product Manager at Bridge Information Systems and also previously worked on the Market Data teams at Credit Suisse and Oppenheimer. She holds a BSBA degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

David Coluccio

David is accountable for managing, developing, maintaining and enhancing the Fundamental Analysis suite of products, which includes Compustat, Capital IQ Fundamentals, Capital IQ Estimates, GICS, Ownership and Transactions to name a few. David joined S&P Capital IQ in August 2013. Prior to joining S&P Capital IQ, David spent 18 years in the financial service industry serving in multiple leadership roles within content and product at firms such as Market Guide, Multex, Reuters and Thomson Reuters. While at Thomson Reuters, David was responsible for the Fundamentals, Estimates and Ownership content strategy, working very closely with clients and industry leaders. David has contributed in the analysis and execution of many acquisitions and partnerships and has also participated and presented at many industry wide XBRL conferences and round tables. David graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Economics.

Dan Connell

Daniel Connell oversees the Market Structure and Technology practice at Greenwich Associates. Immediately prior to Greenwich Associates he was the CEO at Correlix, Inc., a leading provider of real-time performance optimization technology. Formerly, Dan worked as an executive-in-residence at Spire Capital where he oversaw strategic investments in the financial technology and business services sectors. He has served as the COO of Xinhua Finance Ltd as well as the President of Real Time Services for Interactive Data Corp. He was also the Executive Managing Director at Standard & Poor’s where he managed the Investment Services Division of the company. Dan earned his BBA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and completed Executive Business Management Training at the Darden Graduate School of Business. He also attended the Global Leadership program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, University of Oxford and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Michael Connor

Michael Connor is a principal of Tower Hill Advisors, a management consulting firm focused on media, financial information and fintech companies. He specializes in helping organizations rediscover their entrepreneurial “mojo” through radical change in culture, communication, and customer engagement. Prior to Tower Hill, he was Chief Executive Officer of Gimme Credit LLC, an independent corporate bond research firm based in New York. Connor was also the Chief Executive Officer of Market News International (MNI), where he led the company from its startup phase to its position as a leading provider of information and intelligence to the global financial markets. He also served as President of Xinhua Finance’s News & Analysis Division, which included MNI. Prior to joining MNI, Mr. Connor was the Manager of Strategic Planning and Development for the Corporate Bond Division of Moody's Investor Service. He has also worked at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets and the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Connor holds a BS in Business and Economics from Lehigh University. Michael Cooper

Michael is a business technologist with considerable experience of the capital markets and a background in finance industry networking. He combines a particular interest in the evolution of the capital markets with the exploitation and integration of technology in capital markets business. Recently CTO for BT Radianz, Michael was responsible for architecture and the technical strategies that underpin BT’s Financial Market propositions. These products and services include: the BT Radianz Cloud — the world’s largest secure networked financial services community, BT Radianz Messaging, BT Radianz Hosting and Venue Interconnect. Previously, Michael was the Head of GB&FM Product Technology. During this time he created a business technology group responsible for the development and evolution of products and propositions together with leadership of innovation. Prior to this he ran the Radianz Customer Solutions team that provided early adopter solutions for key clients and new technologies. Søren Dambæk

Søren Dambæk is Global Head of Market Data Management and Client & Platform Configuration at Saxo Bank. Søren Dambæk has been with Saxo Bank since 2007 overseeing a wide range of functions in the bank. For the first seven years as part of the Legal function, since then he has headed the Onboarding function, and from 2015 he has headed Saxo Bank’s global market data function out of the head office in Copenhagen. Through his ten years with Saxo Bank, Søren has worked to ensure that Saxo Bank’s facilitation of multi asset international trading comes together operationally and contractually from vendors and counterparties to the end client. Anastasia Dokuchaeva

Anastasia Dokuchaeva is a seasoned professional with expertise and proven track record delivering regulatory technology solutions to the financial services industry. At this time Anastasia is an independent consultant working with the RegTech start-up community and advising firms on product and go-to-market strategy for recent and upcoming regulations such as 4MLD, MiFID II, and GDPR. She is currently working on such a project with London-based ClauseMatch. Prior to this, Anastasia was Director of Global Regulatory Solutions at FactSet, where under her leadership the company released a number of successful solutions for Solvency II, BCBS 239, PRIIPs and KYC/AML. Bonnie Eshel

Bonnie Eshel is the Global Head of Content Strategy and Acquisition at ICE Data Services which is part of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE). Jamie Farmer

Managing Director, Index Investment Strategy, S&P Dow Jones Indices

Jamie Farmer is Managing Director, Index Investment Strategy of S&P Dow Jones Indices. He oversees the creation, development and maintenance of new indexes and ensures the alignment of strategic objectives and activities across the business unit. He also is responsible for maintaining relationships with stock, futures and options exchanges in the Americas region. Mr. Farmer oversees business development for the Dow Jones Energy Indexes. Prior to his current role, Mr. Farmer was a senior associate of strategic relationships at Susquehanna International Group, LLP, a global institutional sales, research and market-making firm based in Bala Cynwyd, Pa., from 1999-2006. There his primary focus was on the development of new products such as cash-settled index options and exchange-traded funds. He also handled marketing, equity research and business development at SIG. In 1991 Mr. Farmer began his career as vice president of marketing at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX), where he successfully positioned PHLX’s sector indexes, index-linked products and trading products.

Martin Finniss

Martin is currently Global Head of Market Data at Macquarie Group, headquartered in Sydney, Australia, with 25 years plus Market Data experience. Prior to 2006 Martin held a number of similar roles in Market Data Analysis and Project Management roles with Westpac, Citigroup and Salomon Smith Barney after spending 10 years in Technology with Thomson Reuters. Martin started his career as an Electronics Engineer in the Armed Forces.

Edmund Flynn FIA

Ed is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley and has the responsibility of managing global exchange relationships and sourcing for exchange data use across the Morgan Stanley enterprise. He currently serves on the FISD Executive Committee and is co-chair of the FISD Consumer Constituent Group. Additionally Ed is an Advisory Board member of the CTA/UTP U.S. Exchange Plans and is active in thought leadership and policy influence related to common issues faced by participants in the market data industry. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he founded The Flynndex Company in 2011 to provide market data training and consulting services. Ed developed training classes to support the FISD Financial Information Associate Professional Certification program and co-authored the “Markets” segment for the FIA Level 1. Ed began his career with Interactive Data and Moody’s Investors Service, then joined Fidelity Investments managing market data and investment research for the Fidelity Funds and the Fidelity enterprise. Ed has an MBA from Babson College, a BS from the University of Vermont, is a FISD FIA Market Data Professional and additionally holds a US Coast Guard Master Captain’s sailing license.

Liz Freeman

Elizabeth (Liz) Freeman serves as Head of Derived Data Licensing, Global Data Licensing Services of CME Group. She is responsible for the growth and development of licensing products and solutions for customer use of CME Group’s intellectual property. Freeman joined CME Group in 2000 and has held positions of increasing responsibility since that time. Prior to assuming her current role, Freeman served as Global Head of Data Licensing Services, Senior Director of IP Strategy, Senior Director of Information Product Management, Associate Director of CME Group’s Global Command Center & Settlements. As part of her responsibilities, she played a leading role in the trading floor integration efforts following CME’s merger with the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) in 2007 and CME Group’s acquisition of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) in 2008. Freeman also traded equities, commodity options and foreign exchange products on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) trading floor and CME Globex. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from The Ohio State University.

Deborah Fuhr is a partner and co-founder of ETFGI, an independent research and consultancy firm established in 2012 covering the global ETF and ETP industry. Reporting directly to the board Peter’s role is to grow the business at CJC by developing client solutions, exploring new technologies and overseeing their implementation. As a market data technology professional with 17 years’ experience and a career spanning inter dealer brokers, tier one investment banks and a global managed services provider Peter has wide ranging experience of technologies and organisations. Initially working in a support role with Tullett Prebon and then Credit Suisse Peter joined CJC Ltd 10 years ago as an onsite consultant at BNP Paribas, soon after Peter was seconded into forming part of the initial managed services team at CJC which provided remote monitoring, support and management of the newly created Reuters Hosted System (RHS). As the system grew and thrived so did CJC and Peter was made Director of Operations for EMEA with the remit of growing the London support and engineering teams and helping to shape the operational processes and structures used to deliver the service. A self-confessed geek Peter revels in new technology and is a passionate advocate of “the cloud” and cloud based managed services.

Dr. Matt Woodhams

Senior Managing Director, Fenics MD

Dr. Matt Woodhams joined GFI in 2000 and until recently oversaw product development, marketing and support of GFI’s trading platforms, their compliance with current regulatory requirements and commercial positioning for regulatory changes. Previously, he held various roles within the company including oversight of the FENICS business while based in New York. Currently, Dr. Woodhams manages businesses within BGC Group’s Fintech division with particularly focus on market data and analytics platforms. Before joining GFI, he headed quantitative analysis at Garban/Harlow Butler, now known as ICAP. Dr. Woodhams holds a BSc in management science and a PhD in mathematics from Swansea University.

Bryan Yates

Director of Sales - EMEA, Orbital Insight

Bryan Yates is the Director of Sales and General Manager for the EMEA region at Orbital Insight, a geospatial analytics company that provides unprecedented visibility into the economic pulse of the world by using AI to analyze vast amounts of satellite imagery to count objects like cars, oil tanks and ships. Prior to joining Orbital Insight, Bryan was the Director of Sales at Medallia, a Sequoia-backed SAAS Customer Experience Management company. Prior to Medallia, Bryan worked as a Senior Director for over 13 years at Eze Software Group, the leading global provider of investment management software solutions to a broad range of clients across the investment community. Bryan was born and raised in South Africa and holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Christina Young

Specialist Leader, Technology and Financial Services, Deloitte Consulting

Tina is currently a specialist leader of Technology and Financial Services at Deloitte Consulting. She has over 25 years of experience in the information technology and financial services industries. She has extensively worked within Tier 1 financial institutions’ market and reference data, especially from a vendor and contractual management perspective. Tina’s expertise is in setting sourcing strategies and license solutions to successfully mitigate risk and reduce costs. She was formerly the Executive Director and Global Head of Market Data Sourcing for JPMorgan Chase & Co. personally managing Bloomberg, TR, Factset & Dow Jones, Vice President and Sourcing lead for Index licensing, as well as reference data: ratings, identifiers, FI analysis and newsfeeds for Morgan Stanley’s Re-engineering & Expense Management team and Vice President and Sourcing Procurement Services Manager for JPMorgan’s Asset Management Division. At JP Morgan, she worked closely with Global Head of Supplier Diversity to develop and Co-Chair Women-In-Sourcing-Empowerment (WISE) initiative. Assist in organizing venues aimed at enhanced networking and mobility opportunities for women in Sourcing group. She leads several initiatives to support women in financial information presently at Deloitte.

Richard Young

Industry and Regulatory Strategy, Bloomberg Global Data

Richard joined Bloomberg in September 2015 in an industry and regulatory relations role in Global Data. This role includes industry and regulatory outreach on the data aspects of Bloomberg’s services for MiFID and other related regulatory initiatives, with a special emphasis on key identifiers such as FIGI and LEI. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Richard spent 20 years with the financial messaging and standards body – SWIFT, where he held a variety of roles in sales and marketing. Most recently Richard was Head of Regulatory Affairs at SWIFT, where he contributed to the development of new services arising from regulatory change, including services for reporting to Trade Repositories and reference data/standards initiatives, such as the development of SWIFT’s services for the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI). He also led initiatives with EU and other regulators to raise awareness of the operational impacts of regulation, including strengthening the regulatory recognition of financial messaging and reference data standards. This involved a particular focus on the promotion of the ISO 20022 financial messaging standard to EU regulatory bodies. At various times Richard represented SWIFT in a number of bodies focused on more efficient post-trade processing, including the EU Commission expert group (CESAME) for securities post trading in 2008/9, the EU Clearing and Settlement Code of Conduct monitoring group and the EGMI group on market infrastructure in 2010/11. Prior to joining SWIFT Richard held product management roles with a leading global custodian for four years, and before that with the London Stock Exchange, where he oversaw the introduction of the institutional net settlement service.

Ken Zockoll

Senior Vice President, Symbology & Reference Data, FactSet Research Systems, Inc.

Ken leads the team that drives the development and deployment of FactSet's enterprise data governance model which connects all of FactSet's content via a common set of security and entity level identifiers and their associated taxonomies. Ken joined FactSet in 2001 as part of the LionShares’ acquisition, FactSet's first major investment in proprietary content. During his tenure at FactSet Ken has helped create and manage a number of FactSet's proprietary content sets before moving into his current role. Prior to joining FactSet Ken worked at a number of other content vendors involved in the creation, management and deployment of commercially successful financial databases. Ken holds a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University.
