D+I Communities in an Open Organization

Open organizations take many shapes including size, composition, and mission. But the following five characteristics are the hallmarks of any open organization; Transparency, Inclusivity, Adaptability, Collaboration, and Community. Truly open organizations embody them all—and they connect the hallmarks in powerful and productive ways. In this session, Red Hat Community Leaders will share how employee resource groups are positively impacting business outcomes and achieving strategic objectives, all while fostering inclusion. Such topics as the following will be discussed:

  • How to prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across the entire organization
  • Leading an organization in an inclusive manner taking into account diverse mindsets, priorities, generations, and aspirations
  • The business value of having a diverse workforce
