Education Technology Industry Network Announces New Executive Leadership

WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 5, 2018) – The Education Technology Industry Network (ETIN) of SIIA, the leading trade association for the education technology industry, announces the appointment of Jill Abbott as the senior vice president and managing director of ETIN.

“This is an important role within our organization to take an innovative approach in driving the strategic direction and lead the overall work of ETIN,” said Ken Wash, president of SIIA, “I am pleased to announce that Jill Abbott has accepted this task. She is committed to insuring that ETIN brings value to its members through existing and new opportunities.”

As Senior Vice President and Managing Director of ETIN, she leads the development of programs and initiatives, enables a community of education leaders, creates partnerships, and provides professional development opportunities to bring thought leadership and advocacy to the members of ETIN. 

Abbott brings over twenty years of education and industry experience to SIIA, including building a successful consulting agency working with business, government, and non-profit organizations. She has also worked in numerous levels of education from a classroom teacher to working at a state department of education.
