Connectiv Announces New Virtual Program for 66th Annual Neal Awards

Tune in to the most prestigious B2B editorial honors on April 17th

 

NEW YORK (March 27, 2020) – The most prestigious editorial honors in specialized journalism, the 66th Neal Awards will, for the first time, be held virtually on April 17th.

“As researchers and health care professionals work on a response to COVID-19, Business editors, journalists, executives and creatives are hard at work breaking news and communicating critical information keeping our families healthy and our businesses producing,” said SIIA President Jeff Joseph, “In this unique moment, it’s important to celebrate the incredible work specialized journalists have done over the past year. We are proud to honor them in this unique event next month.”

The largest global audience ever assembled for this program will commence with a virtual luncheon at 12 p.m. on April 17th.  The Neal Awards’, selected by a panel of 14 judges, will announce 53 winners across 21 editorial categories and unveil the winner for the Grand Neal Award, honoring the most outstanding entry across winners from all categories. The Neal Awards will also honor the recipients of four special recognition Leadership Awards, including the Marianne Dekker Mattera Award for dedicated mentoring; the G.D. Crain Award for distinguished editorial career; Timothy White Award for exemplary leadership in the face of challenges and pressures; and the McAllister Editorial Fellowship, given to an editor who will teach journalism at Northwestern University’s prestigious Medill School of Journalism.
