SIIA Panel to Present Impact of Policy on Internet of Things
Leaders from GE, Qualcomm, and Center for Data Innovation will Speak
Washington, DC (June 15, 2016) – This Friday, June 17th, the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal association representing the software and digital content industries, will host an expert panel on the Internet of Things (IoT) in conjunction with The Congressional High Tech and Internet of Things Caucuses.
The event, taking place in the Rayburn House Office Building from Noon to 1:00 pm, comes on the heels of SIIA’s comments on IoT to the Department of Congress and SIIA’s white paper, which state, “policymakers should rely heavily on the current framework which is sufficiently flexible to promote exciting new IoT innovations…improve the way business is done and the way people live.”
