Winners Named in the 2016 SIPAwards Competition
WASHINGTON (June 7, 2016) – The Specialized Information Publishers Association (SIPA) announced 26 first-place winners in its 37th Annual SIPAwards competition.
The SIPAwards recognize excellence among publishers in editorial and marketing. The winners were announced during an awards luncheon at SIPA’s 40th Annual Conference: Pivoting for Profit at the Marriott Metro Center in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, June 7.
“We congratulate these publishers on their high-caliber editorial work and best-in-class marketing initiatives,” said Nancy Brand, SIPA’s managing director. “SIPA commends the individual and team efforts that earned these well-deserved honors.”
In addition to the 26 first-place winners, SIPA named 53 runner-ups and honorable mentions across 25 categories. Winning a 2016 SIPAward is an especially impressive achievement given that there were a record 228 entries, and the judging was conducted by a specially chosen group of industry peers.
