For the redesign of the Academy of Model Aeronautics flagship publication, Model Aviation magazine, the Academy’s creative team worked with internal stakeholders through an intensive discovery process to create a foundation of strategy that informed a complete redesign of this over 80-year-old magazine. The session will cover design and tactics explored for the redesign to help drive reader engagement.

Kyle Jaracz
Art Director / Production Manager, the Academy of Model Aeronautics

A former Army Infantryman team leader, Kyle graduated from Anderson University with a degree in graphic design and has worked in multiple positions in the design field, most recently as the Art Director and Production Manager of a national nonprofit organization. In additional to monthly and quarterly magazines, Kyle’s experience includes identity packages, annual reports, direct mail, vehicle wraps, large-format printing, POS, exhibit design, and tradeshow graphics.
