Chief Executive Group, a subsidiary of SIPA member Greenhaven Partners, has acquired Corporate Board Member magazine and related assets from Marlin Equity Partners.

Association TRENDS, a division of Columbia Books & Information Services, has acquired one of the leading association management software events, AMS Fest, from event founder Teri Carden of ReviewMyAMS.
The addition of AMS Fest continues Association TRENDS' ongoing expansion of training offerings for the association community. The conference will join the current lineup of education programs for association professionals spanning webinars, eLearning, and in-person conferences including Learnapalooza, Membership 2020 and the Nonprofit Finance Summit.

Expanded Free Information Resources to Include Hurricane Irma
International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI), has opened several resources to the public at no charge to help victims and insurance professionals navigate the insurance process after the devastation of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

EB Medicine Joins Thousands of Volunteers for EM Day of Service
On Sept. 6, volunteers came together at Atlanta Community Food Bank to help sort and distribute food to the Atlanta community, and EB Medicine took part. This event is part of a larger global philanthropic effort, the EM Day of Service, a campaign driven by the emergency medicine (EM) specialty.
The EM Day of Service provides an opportunity for emergency physicians, residents, nurses, physician assistants, paramedics, medical students and others to give back to the communities they serve. EB Medicine chose volunteering at Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) because ACFB is dedicated to building a healthier, stronger community that is free of hunger.
"We are delighted to partner with emergency medicine colleagues globally to make a difference in our community," said Stephanie Williford, CEO. "Many communities have unmet needs, so seeing the EM Day of Service in action allows us to serve in many places."
