The Reuters Institute's Digital News Report for 2019 surveyed more than 75,000 people in 38 countries about their digital news consumption.

Camilla Cho, New York Media's gm of e-commerce and the person who oversees one of their big events NYxNY, said that readers responded very positively—meaning paid to attend—for the opportunity of interacting with popular staffers.
