Registration is now open for media wishing to cover SIIA's annual Education Impact Symposium, scheduled for July 25-27 in San Francisco.

This year the Education Impact Symposium will provide the thought leadership needed by education technology companies as they develop products and resources for the education market, providing the press with a great deal of content.

All media interested in covering Education Impact Symposium must fill out the Media Registration Form. Members of the media are welcome to apply for press credentials as long as you meet the requirements below. Please note that SIIA holds discretion when granting press credentials and applicants who strongly demonstrate they fulfill the requirements will be more likely to receive credentials.


  • Media representative must be listed as a writer or editor with an ed tech publication or a staff writer for a publication that covers education.
  • One media representative per publication.
Special Requests

Approved media may request pre-arranged interviews with speakers in advance or during the conference. Please contact Allison Bostrom at to make arrangements. SIIA cannot guarantee interviews.

Media check-in will begin Monday, July 25 at 11:00 a.m. and continue throughout the day, and all days of the conference.

Previous media approval to SIIA events does not guarantee the approval of press passes for the 2017 Education Impact Symposium.

Access & Coverage


Media credentials must be worn at all times in order to gain access to the designated conference areas.


Members of the media are welcome to cover the conference, including keynote and breakout sessions.
