Don holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and spent 10 years working for Fortune 500 companies (Archer Daniels Midland and 3M) before taking a leap into the world of management consulting.

Matthew spearheads event programming for Education Week, the nation’s source for K–12 education news and information. He develops both custom and editorial events showcasing best practices in the field. Annually, he oversees “Leaders To Learn From” and the production of 65+ webinars, live chats, livestreams, and 25 sponsored dinners. Matthew is responsible for developing videos with thought leaders, PSAs with celebrities, and other multimedia projects to generate interest in and drive registration. Matthew has held event leadership roles at Reading Is Fundamental, Post-Newsweek Tech Media Group, Magination Press, and Fox Television.

Brian Cuthbert

Group Vice President, Diversified Communications

Brian Cuthbert is a Group Vice President at Diversified Communications U.S., a global media company with market-leading exhibitions, conferences, digital products and publications. Mr. Cuthbert is responsible for Diversified Communications’ Business Communities division, overseeing broad portfolio of conferences, tradeshows, and digital products. Brands under Mr. Cuthbert’s stewardship include the Institute of Finance & Management (IOFM), Intersolar North America, The Running Event, Running Insight, American Society of Administrative Professionals, the Administrative Professionals Conference and Vinexpo New York. Mr. Cuthbert is also part of the Diversified Communications’ leadership team. Mr. Cuthbert joined Diversified in April 2013 as the Director of Sales for IOFM and later became its Executive Director in 2015. There, he was responsible for the significant growth of its event portfolio and certification business. Previously, Mr. Cuthbert held sales and leadership roles at Greenhaven Partners and Kennedy Information – selling and leading sales teams across a wide variety of industries.

Stephanie Eidelman

Heather Farley

COO, Access Intelligence

Heather is responsible for the operations and strategic direction across AI’s portfolio. She works closely with her division leaders to identify, acquire and integrate synergistic businesses as well as create strong organic growth through new product launches. Additionally, as a member of Access Intelligence’s Board of Directors, Heather plays an integral role in ensuring that the vision and mission of AI’s core strategic initiatives are successfully executed across all operating units. Heather is a recognized leader in the b2b community and sits on the board of SIPA (Specialized Information Publishers Association) and SIIA (Software & Information Industries Association). In her tenure at AI, Heather has worked on more than a dozen acquisitions and countless product launches. Her expertise in both direct marketing and paid content have been instrumental in the company’s dynamic transition from a traditional b2b media provider to an integrated global media platform company comprised primarily of face-to-face events and online members-based communities. Prior to Access Intelligence, Heather was a senior vice president and group publisher with Phillips Publishing International.

Chris Ferrell

CEO, Endeavor Business Media

Chris Ferrell is the co-founder and CEO of Endeavor Business Media. After ten years at the helm of SouthComm, a B2C and B2B media company he also founded, Ferrell launched Endeavor in January of 2018 and quickly guided the company through a series of acquisitions over the next two years. Prior to SouthComm, Ferrell was the publisher of the alt-weekly The Nashville Scene. Prior to that he ran a digital marketing agency and worked in several internet start-ups leading to his wry observation that he is the only person who choose to go from internet to print as a career path. Ferrell lives in Nashville, TN where he once served two terms as a city councilman.

Daniel Fink

Managing Director, Money-Media, a Financial Times company

Dan oversees the Money-Media business unit, which was acquired by the Financial Times in January 2008. Money-Media is a native digital publisher with over 150 staff, nine products, and operations on three continents. Money-Media sits within FT Specialist, the Financial Times' specialist publishing division and publishes premium news across multiple industries. Dan is a member of the FT's senior management group, is the chairman of the FT's 401k investment committee, was elected to the board of directors for the Specialized Information Publishers Association (SIPA), and formerly served as Co-Chair of the East Coast Committee for the National Investment Company Service Association (Nicsa). Dan earned an MBA at Indiana University and was a national champion gymnast.

Meg Hargreaves

Chief Operating Officer, Industry Dive

After nearly 10 years at CQ Roll Call, including the sale and transition of CQ Roll Call from The Economist Group to FiscalNote in August 2018, Meg Hargreaves launched her own consultancy practice, Rush River Media. In March 2020, Meg joined the leadership team at fast-growing media company Industry Dive as their new Chief Operating Officer. A 30-year veteran of the publishing and media space, Meg has worked for some of the largest B2B information companies in the industry. Meg is also the current Chair of the SIIA Board of Directors and a past President of the SIPA Board of Directors. As Chief Operating Officer / SVP at CQ Roll Call, Washington’s most respected, non-partisan media company, Meg oversaw a wide range of business operations in support of the company’s news, legislative tracking and advocacy SaaS businesses. She also served on The Economist Group’s Charitable Trust, Global Real Estate and 401(k) Committees (Chair). Prior to CQ Roll Call, Meg was President & Publisher of Pike & Fischer and VP & Publisher of BNA Subsidiaries, LLC, both now part of the Bloomberg Information Group. Prior to her 6 years at BNA/Bloomberg, Meg was V.P. of Publishing & Content Development for global competitive intelligence aggregator MarketResearch.com, where she led editorial, product development, marketing and sales. Prior to MarketResearch.com, Meg developed political, legislative and regulatory products and services for LexisNexis (RELLX). She started her career on K Street in the Government Affairs office of McGraw-Hill. Meg is a graduate of the University of Scranton and lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her partner, Michael Keegan and their dog, Boo Radley.

Steve Kearns

Steve Kearns leads social media strategy on behalf of LinkedIn's sales and marketing business. In his first two years with the professional network, Steve more than quadrupled his channels' follower count and developed a revenue attribution system for organic social promotions. He's well-versed in bringing GIFs, video and other interactive media to life on social. And with a background in the entertainment industry, Steve prides himself on taking the boring out of B2B marketing. Prior to joining LinkedIn, Steve spent time in various marketing roles at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Viacom and Live Nation Entertainment.

Andy Kowl

Senior Vice President, Publishing Strategy, ePublishing Inc

Andy Kowl is a journalist and entrepreneurial publisher with more than 30 years developing, marketing and growing publishing companies. He is senior vice president of publishing strategy for ePublishing Inc., the leading enterprise publishing system (EPS) provider which manages content, audience data, workflow, newsletters and/or e-commerce for more than 400 publications. He helps publishers increase reader engagement and response by integrating behavioral data with contextual content, and shows them direct ways to monetize the results. Andy writes the B2B Beat blog for Publishing Executive magazine. His background in B2B includes publishing, editing and/or owning magazines and information products covering specialty retail, horse breeding, real estate, credit unions, Wall Street compliance and wireless technology. Andy has worked with many associations and believes, too often the main association is not sufficiently leveraging publication content, and vice versa.

Michael Marrale

CEO, M Science

Michael V. Marrale is an American finance executive who currently serves as CEO of M Science, the pioneer in alternative data-driven research. An early adopter of alternative data in the investment process, he has led one of the largest data-driven research organizations globally, combining the best of data science and analysis to uncover valuable insights for corporations and financial institutions. Founded as Majestic Research in 2002, Michael joined M Science’s predecessor in 2012 as Head of Research, Sales & Trading. During this time, he played a major role in the 2015 sale of the group’s energy research business, Ross Smith Energy, to Warburg Pincus for over $120 million. In 2016, he led the sale of Majestic Research to Leucadia Investments, a division of Jefferies Financial Group. Under Michael’s leadership, M Science has emerged as the preeminent global leader in data-driven research and analytics, and has expanded its sector coverage and data solutions across the U.S., China, and Europe. A frequent panelist and keynote speaker at industry conferences, Michael plays an active role evangelizing the use of alternative data in the institutional investment and corporate business communities. Earlier in his career, Michael held senior roles RBC Capital Markets and Lehman Brothers. John McGovern

CEO and Owner, Grimes, McGovern & Associates

John joined M&A Advisory firm W.B. Grimes in 2011 to run their Global Media, Events & Information Services Group, which had excellent growth under his tenure, branching out into new regions and more diverse businesses including events and information services. Under John, the group’s client list grew to include many more sellside and buyside retainer clients. John acquired W.B. Grimes in 2018 and is the sole owner of the renamed Grimes, McGovern & Associates. Grimes, McGovern & Associates is a leader in lower middle market M&A Advisory for Media, Events & Information Services companies – having completed 25 transactions in 2019. John brings 30+ years of strategy, business development experience in the global media, events and online services industries, holding positions such as Senior VP of Thomson Financial, (where he grew revenues from $30m to $90m in six years) Senior VP at the Fair Disclosure Financial Network (which grew from zero to $2m in 18 months under his tenure) and various positions early in his career at Dow Jones/Factiva. John has consulted for many Information Services companies including Newstex, Rapidata, PaymentSource, Zacks, NetProspex, and Advisen.

Anna Motuz

Anna is a high-energy, results-driven, B2B/I marketing professional with a proven track record across a variety of vertical markets. Anna worked with most marketing channels from direct mail to online ads and SEO. Michelle Peña

Elizabeth Petersen

Elizabeth is currently a project director at Simplify Compliance, working on corporate level branding, product development, and content generation projects. Prior to her current role, Elizabeth served as president of Simplify Compliance’s healthcare division, where she was responsible for growth strategy and the day-to-day operations of the business unit’s primary brands (ACDIS, DecisionHealth, HCPro, and HealthLeaders Media). During her 14 years with the company, Elizabeth has held various roles of increasing responsibility in the business’s sales, product management, and content development departments. Elizabeth has also held editorial positions at Jones & Bartlett Learning and CCI Communications. She holds a BA from Boston University, where she captained the women’s rugby team. Kelly Phinney

Linda Thomas Brooks is the Interim Managing Director for Connectiv and AM&P and is excited about working with the SIIA media and content organizations. Linda’s past roles include a four-year term as the President and CEO of the Association of Magazine Media, where she led an organization which provided business, research, marketing and government affairs support to hundreds of media client brands. In previous roles, Linda ran General Motors Mediaworks and Ingenuity Media at The Martin Agency, overseeing strategy, implementation, client relationships and business operations. She created a new marketing function at Trilogy, a business technology company. Linda was also one of the founding executives of Gear Digital, a marketing company founded to apply real-time optimization to the content of advertising messages. Caysey Welton

Caysey Welton is Content Director at Folio:, an Access Intelligence brand that serves print and digital publishing professionals.
