Engineering Team Leader – Real Time Market Data, Bloomberg

Cristiana Pandelica is a Software Engineering Team Lead for a Market Data feed handler application team at Bloomberg, responsible for the acquisition and normalization of data gathered from many exchanges in the EMEA region.

Cristiana joined Bloomberg as a university graduate a bit over 4 years ago, contributing to Feeds Market Data as a software engineer, and then transitioning into a Team Leader role 1 year ago. Cristiana and her team are responsible for designing and implementing scalable and reliable solutions to ensure market data is available to clients accurately. She is passionate about solving challenging problems and collaborating with different teams within Bloomberg to find solutions for dealing with the high-volume of data that is ingested and processed every day.

Cristiana has always been interested in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and has participated in different communities in Bloomberg. Her most recent contribution was leading the Women in Real-time Exchanges group, which aims to provide networking, support and opportunity awareness to women and allies in the Market Data department at Bloomberg.
