Trading Director, B3

Daniel Demattio is the Trading Director at B3, responsible for the operation of equity, derivatives, and fixed-income trading. He has been with B3 for over 20 years, having worked in both trading and post-trading areas. Throughout his career, Daniel has contributed to and led several market infrastructure projects, such as the restructuring of the Brazilian payment system, the creation of a Clearing for federal public securities, the integration project for B3’s post-trading systems—which unified the equity and derivatives clearings—and the reduction of the equity settlement cycle to T+2. Daniel holds a degree in Production Engineering from the Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia and an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).
